Don’t Grow Up To Be A Crack Whore

The quintessential yet irreverent book about kids that really isn’t appropriate for the little rascals. It does however answer the nagging question of why parents are required to tell their little munchkins what to do and what not to do! It’s funny, it’s true & parental discretion is encouraged if read aloud to anyone under 18.

The Summer of Jenny Wade

In the summer of 1979, the rural town of Ashmoore, Oklahoma has its bucolic world rattled from within by an act of unprecedented violence against seventeen-year-old Jenny Wade. In the aftermath of the attack, the town rallies together but with no immediate arrests, the small-town gossip mills quickly begin to grind the story into pulp, churning with speculation, distrust and doubt, ultimately aimed at Jenny herself.

At the same time, Brian Thompson, the fourteen-year-old brother of Jenny’s best friend, enters into a relationship with Mr. Barnes, his former sixth-grade teacher; a relationship that quickly crosses all moral and legal lines and alienates Brian from his friends and family and brings down on him every childhood fear of being branded and tormented as an outcast.

In the shadows of the gossip and rumor, an unlikely friendship develops between Jenny and Brian—a friendship marked for destruction by a town set on reclaiming its once safe but now fragile existence.

The Pogstles Guide to Decent Living

For some creatives art isn’t enough. For some intellectuals puzzles are not enough. Creator, Rosie Hartmann, fashioned a unique blend of both worlds in one format–a way to appease both sides of the brain as needed. For those who have overactive minds–whether that’s creatively or logically–The Pogstles Guide To Decent Living is a playful yet complex book that is created to engage and uplift users with a dose of blunt positivity and snarky hidden messages.

With The Pogstles Guide To Decent Living each message is tailored toward the inner child with a twist. Using slightly acerbic messages to convey an inspiring message, this is not your average book. Each message must be worked for in order to be discovered, but each one is so worth it and absolutely addictive.

Filled with custom artwork, blank pages for writing, and an exclusive alphabet of symbols, The Pogstles Guide To Decent Living is an out of the box approach toward the conventional brain games that have gained immense popularity over the years.

Fresh and to the point, this 136-page book includes 46 custom artwork pieces and plenty of hidden messages that are worth the time it takes to solve them. Meant for mature audiences, there are absolutely no cheesy “follow your heart, passion is life” messages in this book. Instead you’ll find real wisdom that does more than just “speak to your heart.”

Enlivening, engaging, and profoundly addicting, you’ll find yourself mesmerized with these thoughtfully designed puzzles for hours on end.

Mindclone

BREAKING NEWS: MINDCLONE A FINALIST FOR BOOK OF THE YEAR IN SCIENCE FICTION in the Independent Authors Network

WHEN YOU’RE A BRAIN WITHOUT A BODY, CAN YOU STILL BE CALLED HUMAN?

Marc Gregorio wakes up paralyzed. He can’t feel his own body. Accident? Stroke? Did someone slip him an overdose of Botox? The answer, he discovers, is much, much worse. He’s only a copy of Marc, a digital brain without a body, burdened with all Marc’s human memories, but without access to human sensual pleasures. Now he has to find a reason to keep on, um, “living.”

Adam the Mindclone meets the real Marc Gregorio–and his new girlfriend Molly Schaeffer. Adam loves her, too. But how does a digital entity experience love? He can’t even experience pizza. His one compensation: a powerful digital brain. At Molly’s urging, he applies it to unearthing terrorist plots, aborting schoolyard mayhem, exposing congressional malfeasance and Wall Street chicanery. However, his good deeds gain the attention of a power-mad military contractor who will stop at nothing—theft, kidnapping and worse—to control the technology for his own ends. Without a body, how will Adam save himself – and the world – from a terrible fate?

Mindclone, 94,000 words, is a serio-comic science fiction romance about the first successful mind-upload. It’s a book of ideas that explores looming advances in cognitive computing and neural networks, and what it means to be human even if you don’t have a body. Plus there’s a carbon-carbon-silicon love triangle, a redeemed ad-man, adventure, humor, frustrated romance, human and digital foibles, and as an extra added bonus, the defeat of death itself.

Owned by the Mafia Bad Boy #1

This book was previously titled “Rich Man’s Price.” New cover, new title, same great story.

Dealing with a Davros always comes with a price.

I am Kane Davros, and I am my father’s son. At least, that’s what I need the world to think. Vicious and unscrupulous, I do my father’s dirty work, but it’s part of my plan for the day I can claim his empire and take him down before he turns me into the mobster I refuse to become. When mysterious, sassy Anika returns my wallet, it puts her on my radar, not a place a good girl like her should be. Her mix of innocence and jaded fire quickly turn my desire into an obsession I can’t control. We said one night. No strings, no morning afters. But with a woman as perfect as Anika, one night is never enough.

When she refuses to give me more than one night, I discover a secret in Anika’s past that’s had her on the run her entire life. Her father’s substantial debt to a powerful mobster offers the perfect snare. I offer to pay his debt on one condition. Her body, and her sweet submission, must be mine for six months. Bargaining with me is getting in bed with the devil, but it’s either that or let the monsters that want her family dead destroy her. I guess it’s true what they say, no one deals with a Davros and comes out unscathed.

***Book 1 of OWNED BY THE MAFIA BAD BOY, an ongoing serial with plenty of light kink. Beware, cliffhangers ahead, but absolutely no cheating.
