Girl Found - Lisa Hall‏

Ellen can see the past with a touch of her hand. Every past but her own.

Her parents are dead and she's been exiled, raised apart from a family she barely remembers, her focus on a future of her own creation. Ellen is busy building a life, one that sets aside her past, burying it for good in the same grave everyone thinks she's in.

It's a good plan, but she isn't the only one with an eye to the future.

The Doom Murders by Brian O'Hare‏

Prominent figures in Belfast are being murdered. The bodies are left naked and posed in grotesquely distorted shapes. No clues are left at the forensically immaculate crime scenes except odd theatrical props and some random numbers and letters concealed at each scene by the killer. How are the victims linked? What is the connection between these killings, the bible, and a famous mediaeval painting of The Last Judgement?

Novelist and screenwriter, Eugene Fournier, writes:

A disturbingly deep an...

A Mage's Power by Author Brian Wilkerson‏

When I started writing A Mage’s Power, I wanted to create a Modern Magic world, i.e. a world that resembled late 20th century early 21st century real life but with magic integrated into it. In all of the fantasy books I'd read, magic was only out in the open during the medieval period. During the modern period, it was always hidden.  Sometimes there was a reason (fear of witch hunts for instance) but other times there was nothing but a handwave. It was as if the magical masquerade was ju...
