Chasing Faete by Elena Kincaid, Maia Dylan and Sarah Marsh

Good Morning and Happy Monday everyone! It's the start of a new week and that means I get some company here on the blog. Today, though, we get an extra special treat. We get to check out a new book and series written by not one, but three wonderful and talented ladies. Imagine possibilities! Take a look, enjoy and as always Happy Reading!  Thanks so much for hosting us on your blog today. Chasing Faete started out as a fun exercise in our Sinfully More Erotic Street Team group and turned into an entire series.  So far, we have 5 books planned in the series, but I wouldn't be surprised if more sprout up along the way.  All three of us fell in love with this mysterious world Beyond The Veil as well as our very overprotective Shifters on this side of the Veil.  You know what they say … you can’t run away from your fate. But what if your fate tries to run away from you? If you're a wolf … you chase fate instead.

EXCERPT
“Why don’t I draw you a nice hot bath to help you relax?” Ben suggested to Erica as soon as Leo left to seek out Gabe. The Alpha was gracious enough to give up his room, a large master bedroom with a king-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom. Both the bathtub and the shower were large enough to fit at least three people comfortably. Perhaps Gabe prepared for his own hopeful future, he thought.“Only if you join me,” Erica pleaded. There was no trace of seductive humor in her voice. “I don’t want to be alone right now.”“Come here, love.” He beckoned, holding out his hand for her to take. When she reached him, he enfolded her in his arms and whispered in her ear, “You don’t have to be alone ever again. We’ve got you.”When he released her, he gently led her by the hand into the bathroom. He sat on the edge of the tub and started the water. Once the temperature was to his liking, he stood up, firmly cupped Erica’s cheeks, and kissed her slowly, deeply. Then he let his hands trail gently down her sides until they reached the hem of her shirt. Only then did he break apart from their kiss, just long enough to lift her shirt over her head. He deftly removed her bra, unzipping her jeans as well as his own before he needed to release her lips once again. If he got to love her for a thousand lifetimes, he’d still never tire of the taste of her sweet berry-flavored lips.Ben steadily held her gaze as he dropped to his knees in front of her to remove her shoes and socks and then finally her jeans and underwear. He could not resist inhaling the sweet and tangy scent of her arousal. He spread her pussy lips with his thumbs and flicked his tongue over her clit. One of Erica’s hands grabbed onto his shoulder for balance, while the other fisted in his hair. She panted heavily as he continued to tease her little bundle of nerves. As much as he relished in the taste of her, this was not the time to tease. He needed her, to feel himself inside of her while shutting all the danger looming over them out.He stood abruptly, lifted Erica to straddle his waist, and stepped into the tub. As soon as he sat down, she took him inside of her, both of them moaning loudly at the contact. His love was just as desperate for him as he was for her. Their lips and tongues collided once again as she rode him hard. The sounds of the faucet still running and water sloshing to their fast paced rhythm intermingled with their loud moans and heavy breathing.Ben fit so easily with her. Fulfillment and aching all wrapped up in one neat little exhilarating package. He’d be damned if he would be denied a lifetime of this. Fuck that! His wolf echoed. Ours forever! He grabbed her hips and pushed up hard and fast as Erica pushed down with equal fervor. They broke their kiss again to stare sat each other, but not for long. Erica’s eyes rolled back, forcing her to close them. He felt her walls tighten even further, squeezing, urging him to come with her. When she threw her head back, he buried his face in the crook of her neck and wrapped his arms tightly around her.Ignoring the sound of the door quietly opening and closing—he knew his brother was now their audience—Ben let go in sync with Erica. His loud groan would surely have been heard throughout the house had it not been muffled by Erica’s neck. His sexy pixie, however, was not so quiet. The echo of her desperate cries must have resonated at least down the hallway. Perhaps everyone was still downstairs, but either way, he couldn’t bring himself to care after what the two of them just shared. He held her tightly for a few moments more, knowing that she needed Leo, too. It was Ben’s turn now to relax and just admire the view.****Leo stepped into the bathroom and closed the door, not able to take his eyes from the beauty before him. His mate had her head thrown back, an expression of sheer rapture on her face as she found her pleasure, and the sounds of her passion were the sweetest music to his ears.He stepped up to the bath and turned off the running water before there was even more of it on the floor. He understood very well how his brother hadn’t noticed the mess.“Oh crap, the water,” Ben said once he’d noticed the sloshing sound of Leo’s steps.“Yes, brother, seems you were seduced by a mermaid. I can see how you’d lose track of the rest of the world.” Leo smiled down at Erica as he cupped her cheek with his hand and leaned in for a gentle kiss. “How are you feeling, love?”“Better now that you’re here as well.” Erica kissed him back with a heat that had him growling low in the back of his throat.“Stand up, little one,” Leo ordered as he took a step back and watched the water slip off of her perfect, creamy curves. He held out his hand to her, and when she accepted it, he helped her step out of the tub and onto the warm tile.“Oh, you’re in for it now, pixie. I’ve seen that look before.” Ben laughed as he sat back in the tub with a sigh.Leo tried not to smile when their mate’s eyes opened a little wider in concern, but he wanted to keep her off balance for this. They’d both enjoy it more.“Now, undress me.”

ABOUT SARAH MARSH   Sarah Marsh was born in British Columbia where she still lives. She has only recently began her writing career, finding it the perfect outlet for taking the edge off a nine to five office job. She’s been a science fiction and romance junkie for years and when her imagination started to take the characters she’d read about even further in their adventures, she decided to try writing something of her own.
Sarah’s also a former pastry chef and spends a lot of time cooking and baking for friends and family as well as painting and knitting. Her biggest weaknesses are animals of any kind … she even loves the ones that wake you up at four in the morning because they can almost see the bottom of their food dish.
When it comes to life in general, she’s a big believer that laughter is the best medicine and that there’s no such thing as too much love, which is why she’s such a sucker for a happy ending.

Every Single Part Of You by London Saint James

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today, London Saint James stopped over to share her new release Every Single Part Of You. Bonus, there's a giveaway! Check it out and as always, Happy Reading! PictureBlurb:

Our choices are rarely cut and dry.

Sara: As the daughter of Senator and presidential hopeful Jentsen Holbrook, I spent a good deal of my life under public scrutiny. What I wore. Where I went. Who I dated. It was just the way of things. I’d become what was expected of me, until I ran from my obligations and woke up one morning in Cross de Raven’s and Eryk Hale’s world, two hot guitarists from the mega-famous metal band, Cinder. For the first time, freedom to be myself was within my reach. And along with that? Inevitable scandal.

Eryk: True beauty walked into my life, more beauty than I ever deserved. I partied hard. Rocked harder. I wasn’t good enough to touch Sara’s petal-soft skin, hold on tight, or love her, but regardless of my bad boy ways, no one was going to stop me from trying.

Cross: Sometimes, no matter how hard we fight for what we want, love won't save the day, and truth doesn't always set you free. Then again… Maybe, just maybe, when you find the one you’ve been searching for, love can find a way.You can find the eBook here:

Excerpt:

Holy cow. The energy swirling through the dimly lit Tacoma Dome was a living, pulsing entity unlike anything I’d experienced before. Twenty thousand-plus people packed the space, chanting, “Cinder! Cinder!” while holding lighters and cellphones in the air, so many it was as if millions of fireflies took flight.

Briar and I stood in the VIP section with our after party passes—the wide logoed bracelets on our wrists—completely surrounded by warm bodies. Our bellies were being pressed into the barrier separating us from the security personnel outlining the front of the stage. Cobalt blue laser lights danced and smoke rolled like fog, making the details of the stage hard to see, even from our close vantage point.

Leaning into me, Briar placed her forehead to mine and smiled wide. “Isn’t this fucking awesome?”

“It is,” I agreed.

“You two going to slip each other the tongue?” some guy hollered from behind us.

Briar turned, giving him her signature hip cock—are you serious?—lift of brow. “You’d like that, wouldn’t you?”

“Hell yes.”

She flipped him a not so elegant bird. “Kiss this, asshat.”

“Bri,” I admonished, ready to throw myself in front of her if the guy went ballistic, but he laughed and turned his attention to the stage.

In front of us, shadows moved. The whine of a discordant guitar, followed by a “Ba-bump. Ba-bump,” reverberated from the domed ceiling.

“Oh my God!” Briar screeched in my ear as she latched on to my blouse, practically jumping in place, and almost removing the short, fluttery sleeve in the process. “This is it, babe.”

An unbelievably deep voice bellowed out a war cry that mixed into the sound of rumbling thunder and vibrated the floor beneath me.

Multiple LED screens lit up the entire backstage with a picture show of a churning fire, followed by devastating nuclear explosions. Along the side of the stage, real flames and sparks shot into the air as a shirtless man, half-surrounded by a massive set of drums, lowered from above on a lit platform—muscled arms working, leg tapping.

The crowd went wild.

“That’s Sayer Adler,” Bri yelled near my ear. “Isn’t he gorgeous?”

I looked at the man pounding out a wicked beat, and decided—with his mussed, dark hair with platinum blond tips, sporting long sideburns highlighting a strong jaw, and a sculpted upper body covered in colorful tattoos—he was striking.

A huge flash of light and perfectly timed kaboom went off, drawing my gaze. As the smoke cleared, another member of the band came into view. “That’s Kris Kline. The bassist,” my bestie informed. Then two more men, with fingers flying over their respective guitars appeared together, leaning back to back within their own light show. “The hottie with the mirrored sunglasses and black tour beanie on his head is Cross de Raven. He’s lead guitar. And the other, Mr. I’d-do-him-in-a-heartbeat, is Eryk Hale, rhythm guitarist.”

The two of them had this inexplicable sensuality about them in the way they swayed together, which pretty much kept my attention trained on them until the last guy rose up from an opening in the floor, reminiscent of a leather-clad gladiator stopping center stage, causing the two guitarists to break apart—one going left, the other right.

Beside me, Briar wolf-whistled.

“Shit, yeah! I love you, Fade,” she screamed at the top of her lungs. Then my friend, never one to mince words, flashed sparkling eyes at me. “I so want to have that man’s baby!”

With a saucy wink, she returned her attention back to the action, threw her arm in the air, her fingers making devil horns, and started rocking her head, long hair swishing about her face.
The vocalist curled his ring-covered fingers around a freestanding microphone that looked like a burnt, twisted twig of a tree sprouting up in front of him, which he uprooted. I tried to soak in the experience as he did this combination of singing and screaming about annihilation. The lights, the sound, the penetrating vibrations, the feel of bodies in motion, and the way the members of Cinder worked every square inch of the stage was mesmerizing. I didn’t know much if anything about metal music, but it was clear they were talented.
Cross ground out an amazing sound on his guitar, palm sliding across the neck, fingers on the frets—his instrument dropping down between his muscular thighs as he lunged. Pure,
euphoric pleasure emanated from his handsome face, and a vivid image of him having hot, sweaty, sheet-clawing sex came to mind.

What in the heck is wrong with me?

I pushed the naughty thoughts aside and tore my gaze away from the guitar god, focusing on Eryk, only to find him making love to his guitar. Gah! I needed to get my mind out of the gutter.

Focus on something else.

I watched the drummer again. Slipped my attention to Fade. Moved my gaze over to the bassist. I also returned to watching Cross and Eryk. If they kept up their current high-powered pace of stomping, jumping, and leg lunges throughout the duration of the concert, they’d never need to darken a gym, because they were doing some killer cardio.

When the song ended, Fade bellowed, “How are you tonight, Tacoma?” in a gravelly voice.

The crowd went berserk.

Beauty's Beast by Rose Wulf

Happy Memorial Day everyone! Before you head out to the picnic or set up your chair to take in the local parade, take a quick moment and check out Rose Wulf's newest release Beauty's Beast. It's the perfect escape and way to relax after the long weekend and before heading back to work tomorrow.

Enjoy and happy reading!! Hi and thanks for having me on your blog today!

I'm excited to talk about my latest release, Beauty's Beast! This one is part of Evernight Publishing's Naughty Fairytales line and is, you guessed it, a re-imagining of Beauty & the Beast. My version comes complete with a mouth-watering incubus trapped in a castle! Blurb:He was an incubus. She a human.
He was bound to the castle. She was only visiting.
It should never have worked...

Aurora's life took a turn for the exciting when she won a four-night trip to Castle Finnegan. A castle inhabited by a sexy stranger with smoldering bedroom eyes and a sinful touch. It was easy getting swept up in his arms, harder to accept that she had to let go.

Daemyn didn't get attached. There was no point. But he couldn't keep Aurora out of his heart any easier than he could keep her from his bed. And that presented a problem, because if she ever found out he wasn't human she would run. Not that it mattered, because he was cursed to the castle for eternity... unless he could get Aurora to love him for what he was.PictureExcerpt:

Aurora rolled onto her back, blinking up at the shifting shadows on her tall ceiling. She'd left her bedroom curtains open so that her room might fill with moonlight, and in that, she was not disappointed. If she were being honest with herself, actually, she was only disappointed with one thing so far--not knowing Mr. Sexy's name. But she swore she could still feel his lips on her neck. His tongue slipping out to moisten the skin. The graze of his teeth when he sucked. The heat of his hands through the fabric of her robe.

"Be ready for me tomorrow."

Even now that bold, promising declaration pulsed through her. She should have been scandalized. Horrified. Furious. Most rational women would surely have stormed right up to Mr. Finnegan's room and demanded action be taken. But she wanted no such thing. No, all Aurora really wanted was to fall into Mr. Sexy's arms and find out if he made love as well as his touch said he would.

She was uncomfortable. Her core ached with need and she knew if she checked, she'd find herself wet. And there was really only one thing she could do about it ... if she was brave enough to do such a thing under someone else's roof. With her best friend across the hall. Ordinarily she might not have been, but tonight the desire was strong. It burned hot through her veins just thinking about the man who'd started it.

Besides, who'll know? There was no harm in it.

Pulling her lips between her teeth, Aurora kicked down the comforter and slipped her hand beneath the waistline of her pajama shorts. Sure enough, she found herself slick and sensitive. So she closed her eyes, slid her fingers over her folds, and pulled up a mental image of Mr. Sexy. Tall, broad, with rippling muscles and a deep, sensual voice. Dark brown eyes and long, dark hair.

A hot, heavy touch.

"Breathe, beautiful," he'd said when he touched her. She moaned and slid a finger into her center. Good God, his voice ... even now it rumbled through her like a promising caress.

Someone knocked at her door, startling her so much she accidentally thrust her finger harder into her body. She couldn't have stopped the resulting moan if she tried, and she prayed that whoever was on the other side of the wooden door hadn't heard it. Before she could gather herself enough to straighten her clothes and stand, however, the door swung open and she froze.
It was him.

About Rose:

Rose Wulf is a giant romance fangirl. Hot, protective, sometimes even downright barbaric heroes and spitfire heroines are her favorites. Rose has been writing for as long as she can remember, and over the years she's only grown fonder of it. The bonds between characters have always captivated her, and as an author those are Rose's favorite things to play with - not always to the relief of her fictional babies!

Behind the scenes Rose is a quiet personality. She enjoys spending her non-writing time with her four year-old German Shepherd, Shadow, her mom, and her friends. Be it a fun game of Cards Against Humanity or a relaxing movie night, Rose believes everything is better with company. As for her own romance, she's still searching for her hero (and hoping that, when she does find him, he'll be willing to cook!).

Picture Collecting His Debt by Angelique Voisen

He wakes a beast inside me that I can’t ignore, but I want what I can’t have. Carter Slater is twenty-one, a promising football star, and I’m a stone-cold killer, a debt collector. He’s the son of my enemy, completely out of my reach, until the night I save him from a group of gay bashers.

Even bruised and injured, Carter is perfect, grateful for my protection, but I didn’t save him for noble reasons. Once I get a taste of him, I can’t stop, and neither can he. I need to possess Carter in every way, even if that means making him my captive.

Excerpt:

“Are you going to kill me?” My voice sounds calm, strange, like my mouth and body no longer belongs to me.

He reaches me and my heart thuds in fear and incomprehensible anticipation. I look up at him, daring him to make the next move. Logic defies my action. Any rational being will fight and claw his way to freedom, but I’m not one of them. My dad says I’m born wrong, not just because of my sexuality, but my internal mechanism isn’t the same as everyone else’s.

This stranger says I’m his prize, helpless, and his to toy with, but that’s not entirely true. Bruised and bloody, I knew there’s something broken in him, because I see myself in him. I don’t even know his name and he might know everything about me, but we’re alike.

Grabbing my chin, he tilts my head up, so I’m looking into his face. Christ, those eyes. They tell me secrets I don’t want to know, and call to all the dark parts of me I make sure to hide from my father, my teammates, and the entire world for fear of discovery.

What did it matter? I told my very own angel of death to spare Rod, Bron, and Barry. If they live, my secret would come out, and ruin my career. I tell myself I play football to get back at my father, to prove I can make something out of myself, but despite all that, I’m still that scared little boy, eager to please. Where did that get me? I tried to be what my family wanted—good little Catholic boy, loyal son, everyone’s golden boy, but I’m tired of being what I’m not.

My father will hunt me down if word gets out about the truth he’s worked so hard to hide, even though we haven’t spoken in years. The chief’s done with teaching lessons. He’ll make certain I’m lying in the dirt.

Did I even love Rod, or is what I want the allure of the forbidden?

I don’t have anything to lose. I’m free and it feels fucking good, amazing even.

“You shouldn’t be looking at me like that, golden boy,” he says, voice harsh.

I can hear the longing in his voice, and the pain he tries to hide. “How am I looking at you?”

“This isn’t going the way I fucking thought it would. I thought you’d have more fight in you.”

“You saved me,” I state, but he frowns, furrowing his dark brows, not understanding. “You almost sound disappointed.”

He barks out a laugh, the sound like gravel, but it sends a flutter in my belly. Fuck, but he’s exactly my type. The kind of guy I go for, because I’m sure he won’t disappoint in giving me the kind of sex and right amount of pain I crave.

“I didn’t save you because I want to be model fucking citizen of the year. You’re mine, golden boy. Mine to torment and tease, break apart and build back up again.”

Dark Captive Anthology Featuring Captive Artist by N.J. Young

Oh who doesn't love a dark, gritty romance full of anti-hero men and the women who can't help fall in love with them? If you're like me and enjoy a walk on the dark side, check out this new anthology from Evernight Publishing. Dark Captive is just what you've been craving.

Everyone has a dark side...

Dark Captive is an exclusive collection of dark erotic romance stories featuring alpha men with fierce sexual appetites. They'll stop at nothing to get what they want. And they have their sights on one woman. Possessive and bold, these heroes give their conquests exactly what they crave—to be taken … to be owned. Any resistance offered will be tested, but in the end love rules.

Kidnapping, abduction, and sexual slavery are just a few of the titillating taboo themes in this hand-picked anthology.

Picture Captive Artist by N.J. Young

Carrie Wentworth never expected to be at the center of a high-stakes art theft. She’s perfectly happy to run her prestigious art gallery in a small mountain community and ogle the super hot janitor, Ellis “Jax” Jackson.

But Jax is more than tall, dark, and bulging muscles. He has an art heist to complete no matter what the cost. When Carrie catches him in the act, he can’t bring himself to kill the pretty blonde. So instead, he takes her captive. But he will have to figure out what’s more important—money or his feelings for Carrie.

Excerpt:

With a schwing, Jax pulled out a knife. It wasn’t a huge knife, but it looked very sharp and very pointy.

Carrie felt that prickle of fear again at the back of her neck. “What are you going to do with that?”

Jax rested the point of the knife against the hollow spot at the base of her throat and bent his head until his face was mere centimeters from her own. Carrie drew her tongue across her lips, and she could have sworn Jax’s eyes darkened as he let out a little groan.

He trailed the point of the knife lightly along the side of her neck and down her throat, lower between her breasts. She knew she should be afraid, and deep down, there was a part of her that was, but anxiety seemed to dissipate into an emanating heat at the center of her very being, as something told her he wouldn’t hurt her. She didn’t know why, didn’t know what it was, but she knew he wouldn’t hurt her.

She focused on his full lips, loving how they parted slightly. The heat from his body seared her, and he wasn’t even touching her. And his scent … warm, musky, and deliciously male. Searching his face, she locked eyes with him and held his gaze for what seemed like an eternity, but was probably only mere seconds.

“Hold still, love,” he finally said. Trailing the knife down her legs, he kept his eyes on hers. She shivered at the sensation of the cool metal … or was she shivering because of his nearness? When he reached her ankles, he sliced through the tape in one quick jerk of the knife.
He ripped the remnants of tape off, and Carrie breathed a sigh of relief since she was able to separate her ankles. With the tape off, she could keep her balance so much easier. When Jax stood up, she asked, “Aren’t you going to do my wrists?”

With a quick headshake, Jax slid the knife back into his ankle holster and stood up. “Not quite yet. We need to talk first.”

He looked so somber, but then again, this was a serious situation. Carrie watched him stalk over to one of the two leather chairs across from the oak desk. Even though they looked heavy, Jax lifted one as if it were light as a feather and flipped it around to face her. He sat in it and crossed one ankle over his knee.

“Okay.” She took a shaky breath. “Talk. Tell me what’s going on. How did you end up with a two-hundred-million-dollar painting? What was it doing in my gallery? Whose house is this? And what … what are you going to do with me? Are you going to uh…” she gave a tug at the tape on her wrists. “Are you going to kill me?”*****

Beauty In The Beast by Elyzabeth M. VaLey

Happy Monday everyone! It's a beautiful day here in the Northeast. The sun is shining, the birds are chipping and Elyzabeth M. VaLey stopped on over to share her new release Beauty In The Beast. Check it out, enjoy the sunshine and as always, Happy Reading!

Do you like fairy tales? You know, Goldilocks, Snow White, Alice in Wonderland, The Golden Goose, The Ugly Duckling…  As a kid we all loved them and as adults there’s even more reason to like them, especially, if we add a dash of spice and romance.
Imagine a historical setting such as the Regency period, add a dash of magic, otherworldly creatures, a few rules made for bending, some really hot sex and you’ve got my series, The Witches’ Mischief. Each story has a unique hero and heroine, love, hot sex and some kind of magic.
The Golden Cock was inspired by The Golden Goose, Book 2, Blind Beauty, was loosely based on The Ugly Duckling, book 3, The Three Thieves and The Dom was based on The Three Little Pigs and, Bear Heart, is based on the tale of Bear Skin.
Finally, the end of the series, Beauty in the Beast, is a mix of different fairy tales, but overall Beauty and the Beast is the main inspiration for Morgana and Christopher’s story.

Beauty in the Beast (The Witches' Mischief 5) Light will become shadow. Love will become hate. Good will become evil. The Darkness is here. There will be no escape.

Morgana Wiles has spent her life, alongside her mother, fighting against the arrival of the creature known as The Darkness. Unfortunately, neither of them were able to stop him and now he's here, ready to destroy all that is good in the world. Morgana must face him, but now that the time has come, she finds that things are not as simple. Her mother is gone, self-doubt is creeping in, and her visions are unclear. To make matters worse, a man with evil intent has entered her life and is bent on complicating her mission. Will she be able to resist him in time to fight The Darkness or will she succumb and become that which she despises?

Christopher Bexley is no gentleman. He enjoys trickery, deceit, mischief and above all seduction. Sexual intercourse is the greatest source of power there is or at least there was, until he heard about the Gem. Now that he has discovered there's a stone that can make him the most powerful magic user of all time, he must have it. The only problem is that the only other person that might know where it is, is a stickler for rules and being good. Morgana is too innocent for his liking, and there's only one thing he can do to change that: corrupt her.

Going anywhere, little one?”
She stared at Christopher. His hair was all over the place, his robe open to reveal a chest smattered with dark hair. His eyes glistened deviously, matching his grin.
“Are you keeping watch over me, Mr, Bexley?” She crossed her arms over her chest, hoping that he couldn’t see her beaded nipples.
Christopher laughed.
“No such lucky, Miss Wiles. I thought I heard a noise and came to investigate.” He looked her up and down. Her cheeks burned. “I suppose you heard something, too, or you would have dressed more appropriately before coming out of your bedroom.”
She hastened to cover herself up. Sweat dripped down her back.
“Don’t do it on my account, I’m quite enjoying the view.”
Morgana scowled. Where was this heat coming from? “No. I couldn’t sleep. I’m waiting for Anne.”“Are you? I haven’t seen her since we arrived”
She licked her lips. She needed a fan. Christopher shifted his weight and it hit her. It was him. His energy was like a hot ball of fire. Like an animal that had come from a hunt, or from a run. Primal. He took a step toward her. His robe shifted, revealing more of his chest. How would it feel to run her fingertips across his flesh?
“Yes.”
“Are you all right? You seem flustered.”
“I’m fine.”
Christopher raised his eyebrows.
“I’m fine,” she repeated. She tucked her hair behind her ears. “I’m just tired.”
“Maybe you should try and get some rest. If you can’t sleep, I’ll be happy to hold you.”
“Like you’re holding the woman in your bedroom? I think I shall pass down your offer, Mr. Bexley.”
He shrugged. “Your loss.”
He started to turn around but stopped. “You know, Miss Wiles, I don’t think your rejection sounded very convincing.”
Morgana stared at him. “I beg your pardon?”
Christopher’s eyes lit up as he sauntered toward her. Morgana backed up against the wall. He crowded her against it, placing his arms on either side of her head.
“You’re smothering me.”
“Good.”
“Mr. Bexley, this is—”
Christopher dipped his head so that she was staring into his eyes. They were the color of crushed pine needles. “Mr. Bexley this, Mr. Bexley that.” He gently grabbed her chin. Her heart skipped a beat.
“You’ve been watching me, little one. Watching me and wondering about my energy. I can tell a woman’s, a witch’s curiosity, and you are dying to know what my energy feels like. Will it really make you feel more powerful? Will it hurt you? Is it what you need to defeat that dark thing you’re so afraid of? I don’t have the answer to any of that, but I can tell you the surge of power you feel when you share your body with another human being. It is amazing. Your powers will be heightened, and you will have the ability to be faster, stronger, and to learn things quicker.”
Morgana swallowed. She should get out of here now that she could, but she was mesmerized. Yes, she was curious, but she knew better than to be led on by a man like him. She took in a deep breath, determined to say something witty and be rid of him. Instead his scent curled around her. He smelled musky and masculine, different from anything she knew.
“I’m going to kiss you now, Morgana. I’m going to kiss you and show you an inkling of what this feels like.”
His lips mashed against hers before she could think to protest. Morgana froze. They were warm and soft. He pulled back a bit and kissed her again. Her eyes drifted shut. Christopher put his arms around her and pulled her closer. He took her bottom lip between his teeth and tugged. She gasped. Her heart hammered against her chest. Butterflies rushed throughout her body, touching her with their wings and making her fly. She wound her hands into his hair, the silky strands slipping against her fingers.
His tongue wormed its way into her mouth, curling around hers. Sparks danced behind her eyes. She arched her back and moaned. She could feel the outline of his cock beneath his robe. Liquid fire rushed to melt between her legs. Her swollen nipples rubbed against the material of her gown, begging for attention. Energy crackled between them. She could hear it, feel it, and taste it in his kiss, in his touch. It was palpable. Christopher slid his hands down her waist, over her hips. She held her breath. He tugged her bottom lip between his teeth. She groaned, following his mouth even as he pulled back. He grasped her chin and tilted her head. Morgana opened her eyes. Christopher looked at her as if bewildered. His brow was furrowed and though desire still shone deep in his eyes, there was also something akin to amazement.
“What?”
He blinked and the moment was gone. His eyes lightened and he grinned mischievously. “There you have it, little one. The power of a kiss.”

“Something to drink, Miss?”

I looked up to see Florian smiling down at me. “Oh my gosh, what are you doing here? I thought you had the day off again.”

He was wearing black shorts and a black t-shirt with the ship’s logo on it. The dark fabric made his own natural coloring stand out even more. He sat down on the edge of my lounger near my hip, seeming pleased I’d noticed his absence.

“Normally I would have the day off, but a friend of mine is sick and I’m covering his shift.” His eyes swept over my body as he spoke, and the glint of appreciation I saw in them made me feel good.

“Thanks again for your company yesterday,” I said in a low voice.

He smiled. “My pleasure.”

The tone of our simple words exchanged even more meaning between us. Having been single for so long I’d become a master of deciphering tone, and his was telling me he’d had the time of his life. He was so damn cute.

“So what can I get you? You look thirsty, and I wouldn’t be doing my job if I left you that way.” He was leaning toward me, his small round tray forgotten on the deck beside him.

I put an arm underneath my head and removed my sunglasses so I could make better eye contact. “What would you recommend?” My suggestive tone made his eyebrows rise and his cheeks dimple in pleasure.

Even though he was young and a member of the staff, I allowed myself to respond to his attentions. The pang of loneliness I felt at seeing John and Kim together reared its ugly head. What was wrong with getting a little attention? Why not have some fun on this trip? People flirted with each other all the time. And it was my turn to throw off my conservative chains and flex my sexy muscle.

He frowned as though deep in thought, considering the question. Then he exhaled and pointed at me. “You look like the kind of woman who enjoys not only fine wine but great gin as well. Our bartender makes a cocktail I think you would like. Not too sweet and just the right amount of tartness to it.” He said it the way car aficionados described legendary Porsches. I knew right away he was talking about himself.

He had it right on the nose. That was exactly my style. “I’ll give it a try.” My hand was on the chair next to his leg, and I fingered the bare, firm flesh of his thigh. I blamed my earlier glass of champagne for my loosened inhibitions. I sat forward and leaned in close to him. “Maybe the next time you’re off, we can hang out again.”

His eyes widened with pleasure. He opened his mouth to say something, but someone else cut in.

“Sorry to interrupt, but I wanted to see if I could order a couple of drinks.”

I turned my head to see John Montgomery standing behind my chair. From the amused look on his face, he’d heard everything I said. Mortification laced through me.

Florian jumped up. “Of course.”

John gave him his order, and Florian went to the bar. Then it was just John and me.

“Having fun, Ava?” He lifted a brow.

His eyes were hidden under the dark sunglasses he wore, but I got the meaning, the bastard. He was trying to embarrass me for flirting with Florian. I huffed at him and opened my magazine again, refusing to take the bait.

He tried again. “He’s a little young for you, isn’t he?”

“Hm. I think he’s the same age as Kim actually. If you don’t think that’s too young then I certainly don’t.” I allowed the sweet sound of disdain to roll off my lips, then I flipped over onto my stomach, excusing him.

He gave a soft chuckle. But he got the hint because he walked away. holiday-hottie-evernightpublishing-JayAheer2016-large-series-3Drender (1) About the Author: Restless by nature, Jewel Quinlan is an avid traveler and has visited 16 countries so far. Kayla had seamlessly taken control of the sound system a few minutes ago and the stuff she had been playing was good, better than the typical pre-recorded shit. But what caught his attention now was the sound of her voice. She was singing into the mic on her headset. Not lyrics but a beautiful stream of notes that seemed to flutter from her gut up to her vocal cords in a lilting sound that was captivating.

The notes she sang rose and fell, exotic and mysterious with the intriguing underlying beat. Her voice called, it drew…and soon women rose from their seats to the small dance area to move and sway with the music, and the men followed them. The same people who had been oblivious of the music a moment before as they’d smoked and talked were now giving their full attention to Kayla.

It wasn’t just the music that mesmerized them; it was Kayla herself. She was a vision. Her blonde hair gleamed under the lights, and her shoulders and hips writhed in a sexy dance, and all the while she continued to turn knobs and flip switches to make the music she sang to. She was absorbed in it and having a great time. Sometimes her hair flicked when she gyrated, as if in punctuation to her movements. Combined with the sound of her voice, she was like a beacon—the song of an angel caressing and drawing everyone in. It was like nothing he’d ever heard before.

“Hola!” said a man in an aggressive tone, waving a one hundred Euro bill. “Can we get ten shots of Patrón?”

“Of course. Right away, friend.” Lex focused back in on his job.

It was awhile before he could come back up for air. But when he did, he noticed that the space was packed with bodies dancing to the music Kayla played. And, although she was keeping it mellow as instructed, it was the biggest crowd he’d ever seen on the terrace during the day. Security continuously went through, trying to keep key paths clear.

Hands holding cell phones were up in the air, outstretched toward her, as they took pictures and videos. Through it all, she wore the brightest smile he’d ever seen, occasionally lifting one hand to press the earphones closer. She changed the tempo to a faster beat and the crowd responded with cheers. She bounced up and down in joy, hand waving above her head with exhilaration, and the people lifted and pumped their fists in mimicry.

She was every bit as good as any DJ they’d had before and more. She was the embodiment of everything he thought he would have experienced and felt had it been him on the stage. Somehow, she caught him watching, and gave him a cheery wave. Embarrassed, he waved awkwardly back, and then pulled his eyes back down to the bar. And, even though he could acknowledge that Rick had been right, that she was good, he couldn’t help feeling the tiny nugget of palpable distaste lodged deep in his chest.

Strictly Professional by Iyana Jenna

Happy Wednesday everyone! We're halfway there! Woot!

Today, Iyana Jenna stopped over to give us a glimpse at her latest release Strictly Professional. Check it out, enjoy the rest of the week and Happy Reading!!

Hi! Thank you for having me on your blog. I hope you and your readers are going to enjoy what I have here. This short story was released previously as a part of an anthology, Just Desserts. When it was no longer out there, Evernight adopted it. I’m so thankful for them. This is an MM sweet short story with the stress on the sweet. ^_^ Strictly-Professional-evernightpublishing-JayAheer2016-smallpreviewStrictly ProfessionalPublished By: Evernight Publishing Published: March 23, 2016 Cover Artist: Jay AheerWord Count: 10,500 Heat Index

BlurbAs the only senior graphic designer at Downey Handbags, Zane Kotsky expected to become the head of the creative art department when the company planned to expand its business. His hope crashed when it turned out that the company wanted someone from outside to be the manager. Knowing that, Zane planned to leave the place at once, but that was before he met the man who would become his boss, Joachim Wessling. This is a previously published work. It has been revised and edited for Evernight Publishing.Excerpt“Downey must be very lucky to have you.” The kid—because that was what he was to Joachim, a kid—stared at him a bit too long. “Watch the road.” Zane snickered, and switched his attention back to the traffic ahead. “Lucky. Yeah, I’d call it lucky they decided not to kick me out after denying me what should have been mine by right.” Joachim hadn’t expected to hear those words. “I'm sorry. I don't have any idea what you're talking about.” Zane sucked in a harsh breath.“God, I'm sorry. That was totally uncalled for. Forget what I said, okay? And enjoy your stay here. People at Downey are the best, or I wouldn't have lasted this long.” Joachim frowned. Honestly, he didn’t know this would be the case. When they’d invited him to join the company, there was no talk that someone else might be qualified to be the head of the art department. In fact, he was under the impression that there hadn't been an art department before, only a small division under a larger unit. “You know, I can always talk to Mr. Downey and set things straight.” Joachim had never before seen an expression change from slight panic to utter horror. “No,” Zane practically shouted. “You can't tell him that. You have to promise you'll never talk to Mr. Downey about the things I said. I'll be happy to work under you. Work together with you. It was just a spur-of-the-moment outburst. Promise me, please?” Joachim tried to think past the words work under you, and Zane's pleas didn't help the matter. He took a deep breath and gazed ahead. “Okay, I promise not to say anything, though I’d prefer it if we're all open and honest and don't hide things from each other.” “I’ve been open and honest with you.” “Yeah, and I bet you regret it.”Buy LinksEvernight :: Amazon US :: Amazon UK :: Amazon Australia :: Amazon CanadaAll Romance Ebooks :: Bookstrand :: Barnes & Noble

Hearts In Chains by Elodie Parkes

Happy Monday everyone! It's the start of a new week and you know what that means. It's time to check out a great new release! Today, Elodie Parkes is stopped over to chat about her latest story Hearts In Chains.

Check it out and as always, Happy Reading!  Picture Heart in Chains, Elodie Parkes, Encompass Ink, April 23, 2016 release
MM erotic romance/ suspense I so enjoyed writing ‘Heart in Chains’. I’d just written, MM romance, ‘A Forever Kind of Thing’ for an Encompass Ink anthology to be released later this year and I was still in MM story writing mode.

Connor and Jay my heroes just gelled in my mind immediately as I considered the kind of adventure Connor might have on vacation in an exotic place such as Indonesia. Jay is a mysterious character, tough, driven, but on the verge of changing his dangerous life when he meets Connor. Connor is still getting over a relationship break up, but it’s been long enough and he’s tired of being single. His former boyfriend’s betrayal stays with him, but as soon as he sees Jay, attraction is seeded in his heart.

These two characters are dear to me. Tenderness lies beneath Jay’s composed and tough exterior and courage lies beneath Connor’s sexual vulnerability. I think both will surprise you as you read their story.
Picture When Connor Douglas takes a tropical island holiday, he hopes to leave heartbreak behind. Little does he know the extent of the danger and sexual temptation that awaits him.

Long after Jay Levesque has closed down his operations on the very same tropical island, the memory of Connor haunts him.

Warm nights and scorching sex has someone's heart in chains
Read a teaser:

Darkness was falling as Jay arrived back with another man. They carried a tray each and the other man carried a stool. The other man left, but Jay smiled at Connor as he waited by the bed. Jay flipped a switch on the wall by the door and lit the place. Light streamed downward from the little white coolie-hat shade.

“Come, let’s eat.” He indicated the chair and sat on the stool himself.

Connor dragged his chain as he went to the table. He sat and took the cover off the plate of food. It looked good and the fish was already cut up, which was great since there was no knife, only a fork by his plate. He didn’t expect to be hungry, but after tasting the food, he ate almost all of it before he put down his fork and gave a sigh.

Jay ate slowly. When Connor stopped eating so did he and he placed his fork on the tray.
“It’s good to see you eat. Kiku, the man who brought the food with me, is going to bring coffee. Tell me about yourself.”

Connor turned to face Jay. He felt better after eating. “I don’t get it. Why do you want to know? Why are you being kind?”

Jay frowned. “There’s no need not to be kind. Humor me. Tell me a little about yourself.”

Connor shrugged. “I’m a marine biologist. I’m on vacation. I needed something completely different in my life for a time. These islands seemed like a good idea, far away, warm, beautiful, and …” He stopped talking. What’s the point in this?

Jay pushed his dark hair back from his forehead and folded his arms. He smiled.
“Far away. From what, Connor? A love affair gone wrong I think.”

Connor looked down at the remains of his food in confusion. Did he really want to tell his captor about his heartbreak?
“Not that it’s anything to do with you, but yes … I guess.”

Before Connor could react or even know what was happening, Jay reached out a hand and slipped it around Connor’s head. He swooped on Connor’s mouth and kissed him.

The kiss was so unexpected and yet so delicious, Connor closed his eyes and let it happen. He drifted in the soft merge of Jay’s lips on his. The lingering pressure and the way Jay brought his other hand up to caress the back of Connor’s neck was addictive. Connor leaned into the embrace. His cock hardened. Tingles from the circle of Jay’s fingertips on his neck spread down his spine and made his ass feel melted. Thoughts left him. The only thing that mattered right then was the kiss, and he lifted his hands to hold Jay’s muscled shoulders and kiss him in return.

It was Jay who drew away from the kiss.

Connor leaned back in his chair then, shocked at his response.
