Kinnaur Spiti – areas in Himalayas where my grandfather was a forester in 1920s
This reminds me of travelling in the footsteps of my grandfather – a forester with the India Forest Service in the 1920s and 30s. He might have planted some of the apple trees that were seen along the mountain roads!
