If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?

Thea Larson That is a very good question! There are so many books with varied worlds, worlds of magic or advanced science, it's hard to choose one.

However, I think I would choose Lyra's world from the His Dark Materials trilogy by Phillip Pullman. I would enjoy having my soul walking, or flying, or crawling beside me. I would never have reason to feel lonely, for I would never be alone again.

As for what I would do there, I would meet my daemon, then perhaps head to the colleges there. I would be fascinated at how history had diverged and at what point. It would also be interesting to see how the presence of daemons has affected society as a whole. (less)
