Bullet Blues Jeans

Maggie rocks a pair of bullet blues jeans in my book. These are some of the best high quality jeans that you will find anywhere. They fit snug and show the curves quite well.

I got a compliment from the owner of Bullet Blues for having Maggie wear them. It was a nice surprise when she left me a comment on my facebook page. Love this!

So, I guess what I am finding out is that if you have something you love, by all means add it in your work, because you just never know when it will fit into your story.

Last Day To Download Free Romance

Today is the last day to download my debut romance, What Tomorrow Brings. I have had a blast watching the numbers go from over 5,000 rank down to like 800 in just a matter of hours.

If this is what writing is all about, then the enjoyment of the whole process is unbelievable. I love it!

Tickled Pink

Today is the first of my two day free days on Amazon to promote my book. I am stoked. How much fun is it to watch your numbers increase hour after hour, knowing that people are now actually going to read what you worked on for the last weeks or months or in some cases years?

I am finding that if you do a bit of promoting on social media AND if you also take a little time to promote others work as well, it will come back twofold.

The No Name Bar

On one of our trips to the Florida Keys, we discovered this bar down in the boondocks on an island called the No Name Key. The bar is called No Name Bar.

It is a tourist trap by all means, but if you hit it at the right time of day or season, you can enjoy the bar so much more. The walls and ceilings have one dollar bills stapled to them. There is supposed to be over $70K in one dollar bills attached.

When I came back home and started my Florida Keys series, I wanted to include the No Name Bar as a stop along the way. If you go to youtube there is a cool video that shows the inside of the bar and you will be shocked and delighted when you see all of the money just hanging there.

It's said that there was a fire many years ago, and one wall was ruined, but has been repaired since. Even so, it's an interesting part of the history of the Florida Keys.

A Little of This N That

Well, I finally did it! I finished my debut book, When Tomorrow Comes and it just went live on Amazon.com.

I loved writing it. It's not a long novel by any means, but more of a novella, I guess that's what it's called today. It's about 95 pages in e-book form but it gave me a chance to see what I can do.

I had written a book about ten years ago, a historical novel that was over 350 pages, but over the years, I changed computers and lost the file. I even had it in hard copy and almost had it published, but from moving, I seemed to have lost it.

Then a friend of mine encouraged me to do some writing. Since I love to travel to the Florida Keys, I decided to start my series there, in the land of paradise.

I'm excited to see where this takes me.
