New Year, New Goodreads Giveaway

To ring in the New Year right, the co-authors of the Cycle of Ages Saga: Finders Keepers are sponsoring a new giveaway of their dark fantasy novel. Called "The Hobbit meets Heavy Metal" by fantasy author Michelle Lowery Combs, this introduction to faraway Faltyr is gritty, hard-hitting, and action-packed. True fantasy-horror, Finders Keepers is by no means a happy book, but it is an unforgettable one.

The contest will run until the end of the month and will provide a free copy to TWO lucky winners. An honest, unbiased review would be appreciated by those who win a copy but that is by no means mandatory.

Petty Libelous Bastards

Apparently, this is not a community of professionals trying to get their books viewed and readers trying to produce good reviews of good reads. This site is a weapon, a weapon for petty libelous bastards to vent their jealousies and frustrations toward those who have managed to do what they either will not or cannot...followed their dream to publication. Instead they spend their time here creating fake profiles and then using them to target people that they don't like with one-star potshot reviews that show one thing, that they drank the haterade.

If you're going to trash my book on a website, at least read the damn thing first. I don't mind an honest, even negative review from someone who actually paid me to read my book and then felt the need to provide criticism. But to take a personal issue with me (or worse yet a difference of opinion about writing on FB -- as was the case with this pathetic person and their libelous review) and try to ruin the reputation of my product (or me) is a move made by only the most spineless, immature wastes of space on this planet.

Not only are you a petty libelous bastard but you're a pussy. Plain and simple.

If you were worth one whit as a writer, you'd have read my book and then provided an intelligent dissection of its flaws (which it has...like all books). Instead you took the coward's road, the road of the keyboard warrior, the road of the unpublished and unprofessional. And should Goodreads decide to side with trolls like you, I guess we will take our product somewhere where professionals can remain unfettered by hateful amateurs like you.

I hate blogs...

I hate blogging but have to do it to connect with people in this digital wasteland called the Internet.
