First BIG-TIME Author to read/review my book. Very excited.
P. Rawlik, from Amazon:
Genesis is a magnificent debut and something Wade Garret should be proud of. The scope is reminiscent of some of the epic series of the 70s and 80s, and will draw comparisons to Dune and the Wheel of Time. Garret has created a grand example of world building, full of a fascinating landscape, people and technology that should serve him well in the future as he returns to it in future installments. His characters are rich and well-developed, and their motivations are clear and reasonable. The combination of setting and characters creates an enjoyable and exciting tale that draws the reader in and won't let them go.
However, in the interest of balance there are some sections of the book that drag, and it could use a good editor to deal with some grammatical and structural issues, but these are minor and really do not detract from the book. Wade Garret should be pleased with himself and readers of SF should watch for his future releases.
~Thanks so much Mr. Rawlik~

Two Things!
1) If you're not watching this...you're making my hart sad. :( This is an amazing show and for anyone that ever made fun Matthew McConaughey, I challenge you to watch this and not think how great of an actor he is. I'd say the same thing about Woody, but if you've ever seen Natural Born Killers, yeah, you pretty much already knew that about him.
2) What is happening to this show? More and more things about this season are bothering me, it's like they're spreading to fill. !!!!!!SPOILERS!!!!!!!A) Carl's "growing up" episode. I feel like Carl should be beyond/over it. And how could he be so proficient and smart about killing Zombies and clearing houses/rooms in previous seasons, but make these silly mistakes? Truthfully, at some point, I was hoping that Rick was dead; if you beat a man near death so he's unconscious for that long *Brain Swell* yep, he-gonna-die in ZOMBIE WORLD. B) Beth NEEDS A DRINK??? This was horrible to watch, but the whole time I was hoping it was her 21st birthday and then at least you could weave it into the plot, but NOPE. Then Daryl (the tracker, who meanwhile could've been finding others since Michoone got it done in quick time) get's drunk too? Again, I get what they were trying to do, but it all kinda felt forced. C) CAROL'S RETURN?!?!?!? How the hell? What the &^%# and in the middle of the forest no less, exactly when she's needed. I nearly jumped out of my seat with this magical B.S. Seriously, writers of the world, you know what this is called.....D) Tyreese, well, he's just the worst adult ever. He abandons the children (you two stay here with the INFANT, back to back, while I leave; oh, and if there's trouble, shoot and I'll come running...meanwhile you will've scattered or died and I'm likely not to find you. WTF!!! REMEMBER the little girl who ran from the zombies a few seasons back? Yep. What happened to here when Daryl couldn't find her...ya know, the TRACKER? I couldn't believe it and the show's rationality for his action was RETARDED. And what's with the one girl now killing bunnies? Why do we need a potential psychopathic subtext storyline...for a kid?E) Glenn, who's really one of the smartest characters on the show, gets strategically handy-caped: passes out, taken by truck SEVERAL HOURS meaning Xmiles from his last assumed whereabouts of Maggie, only to have it, once needed for the return, then rendered useless, thereby forcing them to walk. Oh, and it was SOOOO important from them to save the world by going the other way that the new characters suddenly give up their own journey to help Glenn find his wife? Really? WTF??? AHHHGGGG! So Glenn is now dealing with the newest and worst characters on the show. I know everyone likes the new GI Joe Guy since he's from the comics, but he's annoying me—though maybe there's hope for him. His girlfriend looks trashy, an overall cop-out by writers. Honestly, she looks like a B-Move Reject and must die after spraining her ankle. And the dude with the mullet, yea, well, even if he is a scientist...not a Young Earth "Scientist" but a real one, which is laughable, he's got to die and DIE SOON. Lets just keep this season to Maggie, cause so far her's is the only believeable storyline.

Ink Master is BACK!
Yep. It's back!So let's do the rundown since we're already two episodes in. FIRST! They had to earn their shops this time, which was a fun and cool concept. By watching them do Convention Style Tattooing, you got to see a range of their skills. Most everyone did ok, with a few pointers needed here'n'there: Matti Hixson, Scott Marshall and Sausage (yes, that's his name) rounding out the overall best. Then they got into the final tattoos of the day, which was their choice...David Bell did a crushed skull and since he didn't represent it as being such, I think that's why he got picked out for it not being "readable"; but I think it was a cool. Randy Vollink did a water-color ship, which didn't look bad, but wasn't up to par. Keith Diffenderfer did an ugly, ghoulish woman...SORRY, no one wants an ugly chick on their body, I don't care who you are and the judges told him so. Everyone else kinda fell in the middle thereafter across the board. At the end, Damon Butler was let go, dropped on first show. He had some skill, but not good enough to stay; though I feel Roland Pacheco's go-to style was weaker than Butler's DOTD Girl. SECOND! On the next episode, they had to take pictures of their composition and then tattoo it...the problem was, they were working with bugs: scorpions and tarantellas. Again, Matti was on top, but ousted by Halo, though I think Matti's was better. Then everyone had to tattoo an EYE BALL. Halo, Scott, Matti and Sausage did good work; showed lots of skill, depth. Kyle Dunbar, who was voted back this season, is once again crawling up his ass and making things hard on himself. Randy beat the hell-out've his client with an overworked tattoo. Roland once again showed he doesn't need to be doing anything but his go-to Polynesian Style. Then came my second favorite part of the episode: Chris Nunez broke down some geometry knowledge all over Melissa Monroe...if you get a chance, go back and listen. DUDE'S GOT SOME BRAINS! but he was nice about it, though you know another verbal smackdown is coming this season. Finally, last but not least, my favorite part: CRYBABY Ashley Bennentt, who'd been sobbing, sulking or nervously bitching for the last two episodes, finally broke down and walked off...OHHHHh, I forgot when early she went to the two other female tattooers and suggested that crying was something that all women do but also that they'd do the same thing if blah blah blah. I loved how the badass ladies replied that Ashley needed to suck it up and get strong, cause she's making female tattooers look bad. It was great...So, since Ashley walked off, Roland was once again, in my opinion, saved from going home and also no one won best tattoo of the day. This is going to be a fun season.

NEW FACEOFF!!!
Trying to bust out alot of Blogging today. I'm so bad at it. I'll talk about this stuff all day with my friends or make quick posts on twitter @wadejgarret but I never take the time to write it out. So here it goes. FACEOFF on Syfy is back and you can watch all the episodes every Tuesday. I'm not going to go back and catch everyone up, the show deserves a full look back by fans. However, I'll say this much.1) I'M SO GLAD MATT is gone. If you don't know who Matt is, don't feel bad. He's the guy always wearing the scarf, which I guess is a look...Anyway, if I remember correctly, I don't think he was ever on a Final Challenge where he wasn't on bottom looks or skated by on the efforts of others or because someone else happened to be worse that day. Also, I think a few people got booted off when they were teammates? Someone will have to double check that. 2) Cat, who in this pic is wearing the white see-through, has talent, but tends to throw people under the bus at the first sign of trouble. Though not when issues could be fixed—no backbone for that—but instead either to the camera or on the stage at the end of the show. 3) George, wearing the blue button-down, is great. I wonder how his wrist/hand is holding up. Also, oddly enough, he looks like an old buddy of mine...he's not, just weird coincidence. 4) Tyler, in the light teal button-down and Niko, black blazer, purple button-down, are both very strong. If they don't *&^%up they could be around for awhile. 5) Rashaad, highlights in his hair (which at first made me laugh, but now, if we were friends, I'd let it pass—guy thing—cause he's cool and very talented) and Daran, always with the paper-boy hat, are the two best. Not sure who will win or if they'll force some kinda self-inflicted wound before it's all said and done. I'm leaning more to Rashaad.6) Chole, the tattooed red-head, is very talented, but has made some bad choices which have cost her along the way. She was orig my favorite to win. We'll see.
Everyone else who is left kinda falls in the middle: Talented, but they've not really caught my eye for one reason or another.
Last things:1) Why don't they all have Twitter? 2) Ummm, I just realized I noted who everyone was by their clothes or style...HOW the HELL did that happen!? Oh well, it's funny, so I'm leaving it.

Back Blurb
After a year of laborious solitude and a conflict brought to the doorstep of his father's house, Jak, a Southlander of meek circumstance, will come to accept the future isn't set. Through abilities unnerving to any Areht, against enemies rising in every corner of the planet, he’ll be forced to resolve his destiny as one of five that can change the world. Such selfless transcendence isn’t easy, nor simply the heroic result of dark revelations shielded from him since childhood now exposed; rather, it's because of what’s undeniable, even to him. Like all great forces collected at the tip of the spear, the truth of his purpose and the price of his existence has a cost and there's no getting around paying it

Overall Blurb about The Kingdom Come Series
Jak Hartlen, 19, the son of William and Mary, will face many thresholds of flesh and mind on his road to reaping the Whirl Wind; seeds of grief and guilt only now coming to fruition. If only they’d know what they were doing...
The Gan and their Areht who shape the world behind the scenes will hate him, because he's a threat they're not sure can be chained.
The Pillars and their Faithful who spread the world's leading religion will fear him, because his existence, once known, will challenge Ages of dogma and accepted history.
The Crimson King and its Servants who seek to return to power, destroying all that remains of The White, will hunt him, because even in death, they're not sure he'll ever bow to The Dark.
—They All Should.
For as One of Five with the power to shake the world, they will hollow his heart and mind through countless sacrifice and vengeful selfishness.
