2-Sentence Story
Martyn Halm tossed out the challenge to create a 2-sentence short story over on Goodreads. Here was my answer to the challenge. Hope you enjoy.
Sarah was feeling around for the spoon that had slipped down into the garbage disposal when something cold, wet, and rather spongy brushed against her hand. Before she could react, icy fingers had enclosed her wrist, and a low chortle bubbled up from the drain.

Of Christmases Past
This was the first piece of flash fiction I ever wrote. It was written for the Lascaux Review’s first Lascaux Flash Fiction Contest and had a hard limit of 250 words. I actually thought that would be more difficult than it was, but I kept that in mind while I was writing it, and the first draft only overshot that limit by about a dozen words. Given the limitation, I was still fairly pleased with the way this turned out.

Another Blog
I have my main site/blog. There, I talk about all the work I'm doing, plus writing, art, publishing, etc. It's very generalized.
Then, I have my kid-specific blog. I only talk about the children's books there. No links to social media or sales info. And at some point, I plan to add more content there, like coloring pages, etc.. If only there were more hours in the day. Sigh.
