Trying to Dust Off

So, the good news is, things have finally calmed down enough that I’m trying to dust off and get back to writing.  The bad news is that Amazon decided to block the first two things I tried to release, which were the Omnibus editions of Hypnotic Condition and Crystal Rapture.

My theory is that it’s because I’m trying to change around my author name, and that they’re basically accusing me of copying myself (even though my old name is still listed as an Author).  In usual Amazon style, there is almost no information about why they blocked the title, leaving me to guess what happened, only this time the email notification of the block included language that my account could be terminated if I submit more material with the same problems.  Because of this, I’m hesitant to try again in case they’ve suddenly decided that something else is the problem.

I’ve got an email in now asking for at least more detail about the category of the issue, but we’ll see. If they don’t respond with more info, I’ll probably go ahead and try releasing under just my old author name and going from there (maybe just only release truly new stuff under Amy Sadal, but I want people who don’t read this to follow the switch).

Either way, that managed to zap my motivation to almost zero.  If things get resolved today or tomorrow, I’ll start working again, but that’s going to be at the top of the list.  Once things do get moving, I’m planning on writing the third part of On Call, finishing the first part of Soft Bots, and working on something else, but I’m not quite sure what yet (I have a couple new stories I want to write, but some part of me also wants to either keep going with Hypnotic Condition, or maybe further Spell Bound in a story line that came to me during the break).

Either way, I appreciate any patience, and feel free to raise your fist at Amazon for their obscure rejection schemes for me.

Hiatus, Catalog cleanup, and possible Author Name change.

Hey All,

As many of you have probably noticed, I’m in the middle of a bit of a break.  Unfortunately, the day job had just been a bit too much of late, and I haven’t had time to devote to my writing like I should.  Thankfully, I managed to get out the end of the first arc of Hypnotic Condition, so there should be at least a little closure there (or at least it’s a good natural stopping point).

Once things settle down, I’ll be back to writing as usual.  I appreciate the patience.  Summer usually slows things down a little bit, which means I should be able to put some more time into things.

Once thing I do want to mention is that I’m going to be doing a little Catalog maintenance.  Many of my stories have had omnibus editions released, but they still have the individual parts up.  I’m going to be dropping many of the individual parts, in order to make things easier to find and reduce clutter.  There may also be some price changes (drops, of course).

Also, some of you may remember I toyed around with using a different Pen name (Amy Sadal) a while back.  I didn’t really go through with it (it got complicated) but I’m thinking about trying again.  Part of it is just that my current name, Tri3Ax, worked really well back when Proteus was the only thing I had, but now more of my stuff is hypnosis or softer themed, and something that sounds so mechanical really doesn’t work.  Plus, it seems weird putting “Unit” in as a first name (some sites expect a real First/Last name setup is why).

I debated a long while about it, but I think when I do my early summer cleanup, I might go ahead and switch things around.  For a transition, I’ll list most of my current stuff with both the old and new, and then also release the next few things under both, before I start only using the new name.  Part of why I didn’t like doing two at once was knowing where the barrier was, but long-term I think I less outlandish name will sound better.

At any rate, nothing much for the next couple of weeks until things finish quieting down.

Slow Week

Unfortunately, do to WAY too much going on with the day Job, I’m not able to get around to doing any releases this week.  I’m hoping that things will be quiet and I can catch up a little bit over the weekend.

The good news is that I already drafted out the next part of Hypnotic Condition and Soft Bots, so they’re present, they just need to get edited and cleaned up.  After that, I can keep going with both Series.  I think I’m going to get both out to their full “Season 1″ releases before releasing anything new, just to avoid getting off point.  They’re both slated for six parts for the initial segment, although Hypnotic Condition will very much continue after that (it will just be the end of the first real story arc, and it’s good to divide up when you release in a serial format before you move things on further).

As always, thanks for your patience and understanding.  Unfortunately, my stuff doesn’t have universal enough appeal to be a full time job (oh how I wish it did) so sometimes priorities have to shift.

Crystal Rapture- Mostly Human   Amazon

 

The fifth and final part of Crystal Rapture is now live.  I had a bit of a difficult time figuring out how I wanted to end, but I think it turned out well, and I hope you enjoy it as well.

Brian has finally managed to get Marie to go on a date with him, of her own free will.  Now he just needs to avoid blowing it from being so nervous.  Will he end up impressing her, or will she forever remain out of his reach?

Fun and Mind Control continues in Remote Control, the sequel to On Call.  Matt’s made a new invention, a remote that can control the mind of anybody it’s pointed at, and his sisters have managed to lose it at school.

Jacob, a bit of a nobody at school, has managed to find it, and quickly discovers how to use it.  Can Leah manage to find the wayward device before he wreaks too much havoc on the lovely ladies around him?

Releases Catch-Up

As a couple people may have noticed, I’ve been a little lax on release announcements.  Soft bots two and three have been out for a couple weeks and a few days, respectively.  Find the announcements below:

Joshua can’t believe what his house android, Rose, has done.  She’s telling him that he can now do whatever he wants with both his long-time crush, Kristen, and his step-sister, Cecille.  In fact, she’s even encouraging it, telling him that the girls were also interested, and this was the best way to get them to go along with the plan.

He’s wanted to be close to Kristen for a long time, but is this really the way to go?

 

Soft Bots – Changing Roles   Amazon

Kristen’s had her turn with Joshua, but Rose told him that there were two lovely ladies who’d be willing to get to know him better.  Now it’s Cecille’s turn, and she’s oddly eager to get started.  Can Joshua get past the fact that he’s seen her as his sister for so many years?

Getting Back On Track

So, after a rather tiring few weeks, things are finally getting a little bit back to normal.  My apologies for lack of details, but I’m not big on sharing personal stuff.  Suffice it to say, it’s been a pretty busy time.

That being said, things really are getting back to normal, and should continue to be so for the next little bit.  Saturday saw the release of part 3 of Hypnotic Condition, and I’m expecting to get out something more in the near future.  I have already written the next part of Soft Bots, most of the next (and last) part of Crystal Rapture (at least in in the Girlbot Marie line), as well as something new that’s been bouncing around in my head.

I’ve also started working on Part 4 of Hypnotic Condition (it’s about halfway drafted).  Plus, in a massive brainstorming session, I ended up plotting out how the next arc of Spell Bound will play out.  I actually wasn’t expecting that one.

In short, I have a lot of ideas, and a good backlog to work with to keep releases even for the next while.  While I’ll be juggling 4-5 storylines, I tend to find that I actually have an easier time when I have a wide variety to work with. It means that if I’m stuck on one of them, I can easily switch to another.

Think that’s enough for my ramblings for the day, so I’ll close out with the story release announcement for Hypnotic Condition.

 

Hypnotic Condition – Anger and Submission   Amazon

Things take a small turn for the unexpected when Malcolm gets a chance to hypnotize a new girl, his coworker Jessica.  She’s got a bit of a problem with her temper, and it’s starting to affect her performance at work.  Unlike with Wendy and Sabrina, he can be up-front about what he’s doing, since he doesn’t have an ulterior motive.

Still, he’s addicted to the control, and the way she responds to his suggestions is a little unexpected.  Is there more there than Malcolm first expects?

 

Status Update

Hey all,

Not a lot today, just posting to make sure people know I’m still kicking.  Unfortuantely, life events are still not being kind to me, and dealing with continuing issues from some personal matters.

The good news is, I’m having plenty of time for brainstorming, plot development, and even a good chunk of writing.  The bad news is, almost no time for publishing.  Things are going to have to wait until I get back to normalcy, which is likely to not be until next weekend.

However, I do have three releases written out, they just need editing and covers, and will probably be able to easily cover two to four more over the course of the next week. This should leave me with plenty of material for once I’m able to open up the pipe once more.

For those of you looking for specific series, Soft Bots and Hypnotic Condition are definite yes, I’m hoping to get another part of Crystal Rapture up, and also I’m starting a new series.  No details on the new series, and I’ll be holding off on releasing it a little while to not over-complicate things (I worry I have too many open and I know people are waiting for some of my older stuff to close out).

At any rate, wanted to make sure I said something, to  let people know that releases are coming, they just might be a little delayed.

Life and upcoming

Hello all,

I normally don’t mention too much about my offline/real life, but I wanted to mention that I’ve had a bit of a personal emergency that may limit my schedule over the next couple weeks.  I’d like to keep writing, because honestly it’s a nice escape from reality, but time might be limited.  I wanted to make sure to get a blog post up, just to keep up the habit.

That said, I fully intend to get at least one thing released this week, if not two.  Part 2 of Soft Bots is drafted, and I just finished up Part 3 of Hypnotic Condition (which introduces a new character).  I may not have time to edit and prepare covers for both, but what this means is that I have a solid pipeline, even if I have to slow down, I won’t be stopping.

I may be able to get Soft Bots out tomorrow, if not Monday.  Over the course of the week, I’m going to write when I can, but might not be editing or publishing, since my focus is a little scattered.  I hope to further both story lines, as well as wrapping up Crystal Rapture.  Once Crystal Rapture is at a good stopping point, I’ll continue on with something else while I keep these lines open.

Releases (03/04/2014)

Good evening all,

Keeping it short and sweet this evening.  I have two releases for the past week.

Crystal Rapture – Marie’s Troubles   Amazon

 

I realize it’s been a little while since I’ve released something in the Crystal Rapture line.  I was having a difficult time figuring out how to finish up this story without just plopping an ending, and so needed to work out exactly how I wanted things to finish up.  Obviously, I’m comfortable with the current vision for finishing things out.

Part 4 of Crystal Rapture starts to bring things to a close, as Brian finally decides that things can’t continue as they have been.  However, as is often the case, rocking the boat brings with it some risks.

Hypnotic Condition – Acclimation  Amazon / Smashwords

 

Hypnotic Condition continues to be a fun series to write, and this second part came very easily.  Malcolm continues his plan of attempting to slowly condition his crush Wendy to be comfortable feeling sexy while under hypnosis, but he’s also decided to try something new.

Sabrina has been well conditioned regarding helping out around the house, but Malcolm decides that maybe he could try something more, to really test his abilities as a hypnotist.  Can he convince her to obey him without question, or will she end up rejecting his attempts?

That’s the week’s releases.  Stay tuned for more over the next week.  Things are still going refreshingly strong in writing land.  I already have the next part of Soft Bots on deck (just needing an edit and final revisions) and half of the next Hypnotic Condition ready.  Depending on my schedule, I may also try to sneak in something unexpected.  While I have some ideas, I’m not really looking to start anything new, so it might end up being more movement on one of my open lines.

Releases (02/24/2014)

As always, a few days late, but I wanted to wait until I had both of the week’s releases up.

Two releases this time (I’m hoping to hold this pace, and I already have one story to count for next week drafted, so it’s looking quite possible).  Both are first parts in two brand new settings, so I hope everybody enjoys them.

Hypnotic Condition – Sowing Seeds   Amazon / Smashwords

As some of you know, “Pure” hypnosis stories are something I like to write from time to time, and Hypnotic Condition is one of these.  These stories tend to go a little bit slower in terms of the sexual content, but that doesn’t actually mean there isn’t heat, it’s just a little different.

Hypnotic Condition is the story of Malcolm, who’s been practicing hypnosis on his little sister, Sabrina, for the last several months.  He’s done this because he wants to be able to convince her best friend, Wendy, to go out with him, as well as doing some less innocent activities.  Since he knows he can’t just order her to do these things right away, he’s going to have to slowly wear her down, and get her used to thinking dirty thoughts while under his control.

Overall, I think it’s nice and hot, and even more so for hypnosis fans.

 

Soft Bots – Logic Bomb   Amazon / Smashwords

Series #2 starting out is Soft Bots.  I know a lot of people out there are fans of Robotization stories, and while Soft Bots focuses more on mental Robotization than physical, I think it won’t disappoint.  Heavy on the sexual content, with a little humor, and a plot that will develop over time, I’m hoping this can develop into something great.

The year is 2080, and humanity has been declining.  Birthrates have been dropping, and only just recently did they start to stabilizing, when the world decided to follow up with the plague.  While it doesn’t kill the host, it makes them completely sterile, which in some ways can be even worse, since they can continue to spread the disease for the rest of their life.

This is the world that Joshua Gates has been born into, and like all young men, he has urges.  Unfortunately, the world around him has justifiably begun preaching how dangerous they are to indulge in.  However, he has a source of relief.  Human indistinguishable androids have become commonplace in the household, and his friend Andrew has told him how to convince his to sleep with him.

It’s not real, but it’s enough.  Until things go a little unexpected.
