A can't put down crime thriller

A fast moving crime story told as only an ex copper could the detail is intriguing , the plot is not complex just that you are never sure until the very last page why the imported contraband ' product' was so valuable and why so many villains were keen to get their hands on it.

The story is gripping, a can't put down book, I read it cover to cover in a week of evenings, even the TV was off so I could get to the end and discover the secret, last night.

An excellent book, highly recommended

Wonderful to hear

I have been contacted by a lovely lady in North Dakota who is reading my crime thriller, 'BY THEIR RULES'. She say's her departed father was a cop, and the main protagonist in the book - John Burrows - reminds her of him. She even goes as far as to say she reckons that they would have been good friends, and the likeness has brought back good memories for her.

I'm thrilled and humbled by this: who says books aren't important?
