Yosemite Adventures

Forest wandering, cave exploring, and a horseback trek up a mountain–despite a ravaging fire that began on the heels of a lightning storm the day before I arrived, the area around Yosemite still proved to be one of my favorite … Continue reading →

Emma Woolf’s “Writerly Life” Article

008_seychelles

P.S. Wouldn’t it be great to be here? I’d take a writer’s retreat there any day!

Happy Friday! Time for an article share. “In Pursuit of the Writerly Life” by London-born writer, Emma Woolf. I found it inspiring and very true.

My dragon’s hoard of Con spoils…books, book, and more books!

I’m so lucky I live within driving distance of San Diego. That was the most fun I’ve had in years. For my first time at Con, I attended on the last day with veteran-Con friends who had been there every single day. They were a little wiped out and were such good troopers to put up with my desire to wander about! Ashley Golden (creator of my beautiful new wraparound cover) and I tag-teamed with promoting each other. While my friends we...
