Ashleigh Meadows is finally free, for now, and she is not alone anymore. There's a group of them now and she's running with them, somewhere, anywhere, as long as they're not caught. A whole group of acidic blobs of gelly roam together, trying to find somewhere safe. Perhaps they'll find that their old lives welcome them, or just find them, with open arms? At least they need somewhere safe that they can call home. If they make it anywhere safe that is. It's hard to take random group of people and make them into a family, especially when some don't like you, or when some one may have more severe mental issues.
Free from containment and containers the group of recently freed blobs makes a run for it. They don't know who exactly they're running from except to be free. Which means that they can't trust anyone. They can't even trust themselves. Not with what they are, and what they could do even accidentally to any delicate Humans they might come across. Not with what some of them are slowly remembering that they were before... not all of them were nice, office workers.
There's no going back, but is forward the way to go? Are they ever going to be safe? Are they going to be safe around others? They are dangerous, even with their many weaknesses. Bad things could happen.

Life was finally turning around for the Meadows. Their middle daughter, Ashleigh, had a good job that paid well, it was helping a lot with their financial troubles.
Her younger sister was working at a new job at the mall, which was good. Her older sister had recently moved out, which was also good. Her brother was coming to driver her home at the end of the work day.
There was a little bit of drama this week, of course. There was the boyfriend who decided he wanted to wander Europe for a year, and the co-worker that wanted to be more than just a co-worker, and even more than friends.
But she wasn't going to make it home today, if ever.
Something fell from the sky, dissolving her. She woke up in an unknown place, alone, and no longer herself. No longer much of anything. She was green and made of gel, nothing more.
She maneuvered the pipes of the old building she found herself in, with ease. She slipped along floors and up walls - spying on those around her, trying to figure out what had become of her and why she was here.

Annie was a normal girl, a perfectly normal girl.
Well, except for the wings. They were invisible unless she was flying though, like her twin swords too. These things were only needed to hunt.
She was coming home from not doing so well in college. The voices in her head didn't help her study, or read, or pay attention. They were always there, telling her about things, mostly things she didn't care about. But they never shut up!
Her family didn't know about this all. They didn't know about the wings, the swords, the voices, nothing.
When she got home though, something was going on. It was going on all over town. It wasn't just a simple murderer, creep, or bad person. It was something more, something truly evil and it was bigger than she'd ever dealt with before.
Annie couldn't stand evil—it had to be stamped out. It wasn't her opinion, it was a drive, a need. It would drive her to figure out who or what was the source and destroy it, or it would kill her as she tried.
There was no other option, no choice. Just the nagging worry—What would her family think if they found out about all of this?

No matter how much she changes, Eve still has the same goals and she's determine to see this through. She needs to know why she has been changed and to see if she can ever go home. Of course, some very bad people were after her, but that isn't going to stop her.
As she runs from trouble and searches for the truth, she hopes that she can find some people to trust along the way. She hopes to find her purpose in this strange world, or maybe just some answers at least.
Maybe she'll find out just how much of her old self, her humanity, is really left. But then the hard decisions might start.
