He pulled himself up as if to speak but said nothing only finding his resistance tested once again while the two beauties began to kiss at his bare chest. The lower half of Landry’s body remained covered keeping his growing rod prisoner as the two women rode him each of them moaning out louder by the second, their whimpers echoed throughout the room.
“That’s it eat Landry.” Corrin approached to sit at the end of the huge bed as she proudly watched him feed and grow stronger by the minute. “Soon you will be fully restored. Everything will be well again you will see.”
As the words, Corrin said sunk into his head he started to feel sick almost. He knew that everything would not be well. He knew that although his body may very well become restored his heart would remain broken.
As the human blood coursed through him and he was filled he let go of the ladies while he fell backward onto the bed with his eyes fixed on the ceiling.
The two women started to kiss each other as if they had grown bored of Landry or they somehow knew he wouldn’t need them any longer.
He moved to get out of the bed.
“Wait! What are you doing Landry, you can’t go anywhere until you’re full and strong.” Corrin voiced as moved like lighting across the bed joining him by his side. She placed her hand to the middle of his chest, “No…do not. Please, just this one time will you please listen to me?” She urged while nodding as she pushed his body back down in the bed.
The two girls said nothing as they got out of the bed and exited the room.
“This one time…Yes, Corrin, I will do as you ask.” Landry looked back at her brown eyes which glow slightly from the candle light. He smiled a bit while he allowed her to ease him downward while she lay down with him placing just one of her legs over his while resting her head on his chest.
She did still have quite a powerful effect on him. Her touch intensity aroused him just as it had before all those hundreds of years ago. With her so close to him again his body was reacting to her familiar presence, he felt his member growing in size pressing against her thigh and he was certain that she could him.
He fought against his initial desire to ravage her sexually the likes of which the both of them would not soon forget but he stopped himself.
He pressed his eyes shut instead while he bit down on his bottom lip careful not to pierce the skin with his fangs. His mind wandered and instantly he found himself back in the arms of Maya, his body started to react to the images of them together causing him to tighten his hold on Corrin making her sigh with a gulp.

He had only cried three times in his life which was saying a lot considering that he was born in 1536. The first time was when his mother passed when he was seven years old and still human. The second time was when he killed an innocent for the first time, Corrin was there with him and he was eighteen and still human. All of these pivotal moments had brought on overwhelming changes into his life and he knew that losing Maya would change him yet again but what he would become he wasn’t sure. He felt the energy shift in him as he kissed Maya in his head. She pulled away from him and said his name which caused chills to run up his body making him wiggle slightly underneath Corrin.
“Are you okay Landry…do you need some more to eat?” She pulled herself upward towards his face. “You look weak still…please feed on me you know that will heal you instantly.” She placed her slim, bonze-colored arm underneath his nose hoping to ignite him. A long lock of her golden hair brushed against his cheek while she continued staring into his face hoping for answers.
“If I feed you Corrin you know what will happen.” His voice rumbled as their eyes met. He could smell her, every inch of her body. He could feel her tiny body pressing down on his, every cervix of hers that he could feel and the memories of those cervixes’ flooded his head washing away Maya. He pulled her closer by lifting her by her lower back bringing their lips less than an inch apart. He could feel her vampires’ heartbeat, slow but steady and her nipples hardening against his skin through her long, red, see-through nightgown. He grabbed at her gown as he slowly eased it up her leg revealing her panty covered butt. “Corrin…come here!” He roared as he grabbed a hold of her ass while smashing himself upward into her hips.
“I said feed…not this…no Landry…we—“; she was cut off by his lips which he used to part hers before plunging his tongue repeatedly into her mouth. She pushed herself away from his kisses. “Feed. Right back where we always end up Corrin I seem to come full circle back you. To this, the sex, the passion we have or had. You can’t deny it but somehow you always do deny it.” He watched as her face and these emotions she had let slip flee back into the closed doors which she left locked in her mind.
“I just want you to be happy and healed. I love you isn’t that enough for you, why do we have to be lovers too why can’t you be satisfied by just the closeness.” She didn’t wait for answers before returning back to her prior position on top of him. “Look at me Landry.” She mounted him while bringing his hands to her hips. “Feed now or I’ll—“; she seemed to scramble for words while holding back her true desire for him. She would take him back right then but she knew it would be too soon and very confusing to him. After all, she had ended their affair and she was the one who had said repeatedly that it could and would never happen again. “I will make love to you if you feed on me now…” As the words left her mouth her eyes sprung open as if to capture those words and return them to her mouth.
“What? You…want this. You want us to be lovers again?” He stirred from underneath her with hopeful eyes he searched her face for confirmation.
A loud chirping sound echoed from across the room from his pant pocket and he knew it was his cell phone.
“You should answer that!” She pulled herself from him darted like lightning speed across the room retrieving the phone before presenting it to him. “It could be your friend.”
“Duncan? Yes, you’re right it probably is him…I should—“; he looked down at the phone confirming that it was indeed Duncan calling.
“Answer it, Landry.”

The Garden Party
Duncan escorted Megan out onto the back lawn. There they found themselves amongst several dozen guests all dressed in costumes like theirs. There were waiters with trays serving drinks. They eagerly went to see what everyone was drinking.
“I always drink the red one.” A man said to another man.
“I will try the blue this time.” A woman said to her group of friends.
“What kind of drink is that?” Duncan looked down at the silver tray with small, shot glasses on it half of which had a blue colored drink and the other had a red drink in them.
“Hey, it’s the “Matrix or Alice in Wonderland”, right?” Duncan asked. Megan grabbed and quickly drank the red drink. Duncan relaxed and let go of his suspicions. “Holy shit…okay. Red is it then.”
Duncan grabbed and quickly swallowed the red drink too. “Wooo…hot damn!”
Megan put their glasses back onto the tray. “Let’s go play in the garden maze, baby!”
“Huh? Megan, you’re crazy. We just took some mind altering drink probably, the last thing we need is to…” Duncan’s eyes widened. “Hey, Megan let’s go play in the garden maze!” He dragged Megan off towards the garden.
“Okay, Duncan great idea.” She chuckled as she willingly followed him into the maze.
They could see quite easily with the burning torches lining the maze every ten feet or so. Duncan felt amazing, as though all his cares blurred and were distant from his mind. Whatever they had drunk, had them carelessly walking through the maze, blissfully locked in a state of ecstasy.
Duncan noticed that they weren’t alone. There were groups and couples off in the darken corners of the maze as they walked. He realized that they were naked, most of them, or half-dressed, each of them was engaging in many different sex acts.
“Megan?” Duncan stopped.
“Yeah?”
“Maybe we should head out of this maze.”
Megan walked over to him and pushed him up against the bushes. “Whatever for baby? We can do it right here, come on.”
He immediately pushed her away. “What? No!”
“What’s wrong?”
He shook his head as he turned away from her to walk away. “Megan, seriously? Do you have to ask?”
“Come on, it will take your mind off your troubles.” She reached for his crotch and he batted her away.
“I’m serious, Megan. I’m done. I’m going.” He walked briskly away from Megan leaving her behind.
She didn’t seem to be behind him, Duncan noticed after about ten minutes of walking. He was certain he was lost but he was happy that he hadn’t seen any more group sex for some time. He turned a corner and walked nearly right into Corrin.
“Oh sorry!” He stopped in his tracks. She appeared to have been crying. “I didn’t see you there; I nearly knocked you down, Corrin. Are you okay?”
She backed away from him. “Of course just taking some time for myself is all.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes. You should go join the others in the game play.”
“No way! I mean, I’m not into those kinds of games.”
“Oh no? To each their own, I always say. But Duncan you are so handsome, surely women are just crawling all over you all the time.”
“Well…no, not exactly all the time.” He couldn’t help but stare at her and the drugs were still working on him, he felt. “I wouldn’t mind having you crawling all over me, though.” He stumbled towards her before passing out cold, face planted in the dirt.
“Oh no! No touching, darling.” Corrin did nothing as she watched him fall.

Vampire Mistress Corrin battles Maya
This teaser is both funny and scary. I can't tell you just how much fun I have had while working on this series "Longing Pulse". “Hello, darling Landry. It’s me, Corrin. Megan and I are just now arriving at this, pile of twigs and rusty nails that Duncan calls home. Funny thing is you’re not here. Why? “Holy shit! Not this again!” Megan turned and noticed that Maya was sitting up on the couch with a sinister look on her face.
“I don’t see the problem she’s just sitting there. Hmm. What’s that red stuff on the floor?”
“She looks possessed! Totally evil, I don’t like it!”
“She looks possessed because she is, silly. I’m guessing the red circle is some sort of trap. So you should be fine as long as you stay out of the circle then, Megan.”
“That’s good, because she is not wearing those chains anymore.”
“Yeah, that’s not good!” Corrin backed out of the doorway. They both scanned the room for the chains.
“There!” Corrin pointed at the floor next to the couch. The chains were broken and laying on the floor by the couch.
Just then, Maya stood up with a creepy, smile on her face. “Where’s Landry and Duncan?” Her voice was distorted and demonic sounding.
“Maya? You sound very strange.”
“That’s because she’s not Maya, Megan. Don’t talk to that thing, are you crazy?”
“Shut up, Bitch! Why don’t you go fuck yourself! Let me and my friend, Megan here catch up,” the demon said in a bellowing voice.
“Well, now! Maybe I should have my guards take care of that mouth of hers.”
“Wait, Corrin! She’s not Maya, remember.”
“I’ll be in the car calling Landry over and over again until he finally decides to come back here.” Corrin turned and left.
“Sounds good to me. I’ll join you.” Megan raised her brow as Maya slowly waved to her as she closed the door.

Asylumbook 2Chapter One
Chris pushed his hand down into Maya’s back pocket and playfully tugged her back towards him. They had spent all morning kissing under the hanging branches of the maple tree. He hadn’t wanted their time alone together to end but she worried that their mothers would find them or maybe even Duncan. So she resisted his advances, escaped his grasp, and instead took off back towards the old barn.
He quickly lost sight of her in the long, grass field. Just as well, he thought as he slowed. He was exhausted anyways, after weeks of sneaking out of their family’s summer house to have sex.
He was seventeen and already completely in love with Maya. He even had full intentions on marrying her one day. She was all he could think of, and the sex was incredible. He remembered their first time together and how beautiful she looked a radiant, bare beauty calling out his name from underneath his young tone bare body. He nearly tripped on a rock which he didn’t see, a hazard of being a young man in love and now having sex, finally. He tripped and fell a lot that summer.
Chris could have had his pick of just about anyone. He was very handsome, with a rock-hard, rugby player body and a heart of gold, Chris was a great catch. He looked like he could be a poster-boy for the gorgeous demy-god’s society with his perfect skin and teeth. He’s heart had always belonged to Maya though, ever since he first met her in second grade. At first he was her protector and buddy. But as they aged they had become so much more.
He could hear Maya giggle just up ahead of him, and then he couldn’t hear her anymore. The barn was just ahead, he could see the roof top from the tall, blades of grass. He hurried to try and catch up to Maya. Suddenly, Chris heard Maya scream. It sounded like she was in the old barn so he raced inside.
When he walked into the barn he saw Duncan standing up onto of the hay loft. Maya wasn’t anywhere in sight. Chris frantically searched the barn for her, and then he noticed her shoe on the ground next to an old pickup truck. He heard Duncan yell something to him but he was too far away to understand him. He tried to open the truck door but it was locked.
Suddenly, Maya appeared in the window inside the truck. She frantically tapped on the truck window. He was confused; it appeared that she was yelling to him to run. He tried to open the door again as Maya tried at the same time but the door seemed to be jammed. Maya’s eyes widened and she seemed to have seen something very bad. Then she pointed to something behind him.
He quickly turned just as a pitch fork flew at him, which he just barely managed to dodge in time. He looked to see who had thrown the fork. He couldn’t see anyone else in the barn. Maya tugged and kicked at the pickup truck door until finally the door opened and she fell out into Chris’ arms.
They both raced over to where Duncan was but the ladder leading up to the hay loft had been destroyed somehow. So they ran around to where they could at least see him.Duncan seemed to them to be talking to someone but there wasn’t anyone there that neither Chris nor Maya could see. Duncan appeared to be trapped up in the loft, having an argument with some unseen force. Even worse, there seemed to be more than just one of them up there with him.
Chris pulled Maya behind him as they tried to get across the barn safely to the exit. He couldn’t see anything but he could feel something watching them as they moved slowly, clinging to each other.
Duncan yelled out to them again and this time Chris and Maya both heard him clearly tell them to run. Chris was even sure he had heard Duncan say something about there being ghosts in there with them. He wasn’t able to see just what it was the Duncan could so obviously see, but one thing was clear to him; they weren’t alone in the barn that mid summer’s day.

Rave at the Quarry Rogue Werewolf attack

Super suspenseful excerpt from Chapter 8
Annabel danced around in the middle of a group of girls while the jocks watched them. She noticed that Matt and Ashley had been huddled up by the bonfire alone talking for some time now. Annabel also noticed that all the jocks that were on the list had been very nice to Matt. “Maybe his luck had changed,” she hoped.
This part of being a teen Annabel did miss; the carefree nights of music and dancing even if it was only her and Kim doing the partying. She had completely missed out on these kind of parties and she had always told herself that she hadn’t missed a thing, but now she was wondering if that was the case.
Then a bass filled beat came on the stereo, and then Annabel started to do a choreographed hip-hop dance. All the girls yelled out as they seemed amazed by Annabel's dance style. The girls circled around Annabel as she continued to move while shaking her hips to the bass in the song. She did some Latin style moves, and then she dazzled them with some modern dubstep dance moves. Some of the girls tried to imitate Annabel's style.
Matt and Ashley had joined the others circling Annabel. Annabel looked over at Matt as she grabbed him, and then she pulled him out into the middle of circle with her. She danced with him playfully urging him to join her. The girls all yelled Matt's name, cheering him on, and Ashley was the loudest of them. Matt blushed as he moved around trying to keep up with Annabel. Annabel laughed at his embarrassment as she continued dancing with him. Suddenly Matt started moving like a robot and the girls cheered louder which seemed increase his confidence. Annabel stopped dancing; she was surprised that Matt had some good moves so she started doing the robot with him. Ashley happily joined in with Matt and Annabel. Then all the girls and boys starting doing their best robot moves.
A slower song started playing, and everyone stopped and several of the kids laughed. Ashley grabbed Matt. They began to dance together. Annabel smiled with pride for Matt. One of the jocks patted Matt on the shoulder while the others gave him thumbs up. Matt had done it, Annabel thought, he had managed to impress these kids.
She walked over to the cooler to grab a bottled water. She drank the water as she started to consider going to find Vince to head back to Woodsgate. After all, Matt was doing just fine now, and just maybe that werewolf had moved on to other town. At any rate she felt a little silly hanging around with these kids for too much longer. Plus, Matt certainly didn't need her around anymore. She pulled out her phone to call Vince’s cell.
“Hello?”
“Hey, where are you?”
“I’m out in the woods looking around, why?”
“I think that maybe you were right, this werewolf isn’t going to show up. Maybe we should just head…“
“Wait! Did you just say I was right?” He interrupted her.
“Okay, maybe you were…” She said through gritted teeth.
“Hey, let me call you back, I think I just heard something…” Vince remarked as he disconnected.
“Huh, what? Okay, I guess you’ll call me back then?” Annabel muttered to herself.Annabel heard a bloodcurdling howl that came from the surrounding woods, then suddenly a large, black, werewolf emerged from the trees. The teens yelled as they started scattering in all directions into the woods. All except, Ashley, Matt and Annabel.
The black werewolf locked its gaze on Ashley. Annabel saw them through the crowd of fleeing teens, and then she ran over toward them.
The black wolf snapped its jaws at Annabel as she ran to Matt and Ashley. Annabel jumped back as the beast snapped its teeth at her. Then the wolf began to slowly circle the three of them. Matt stood in front of Ashley to protect her.
“Matt get Ashley out of here!” Annabel yelled. Matt grabbed Ashley’s arm as they took off running.
Annabel picked up a small log from the bonfire to toss at the wolf. The wolf yelped as it jumped back while the fire singed its fur. Annabel looked to see if Matt and Ashley had made it safely into the woods. They were nowhere in sight, but now she was all alone with a werewolf. Maybe this wasn’t such a great idea after all, like Vince had been stressing earlier.
The wolf snarled as it slowly came towards Annabel. She backed up as she looked around for help. But there was nothing and no one around.
Without a thought, Annabel started running into the woods as she yelled out to Vince. Just maybe he would hear her before the beast could eat her, she thought. She turned to see if the wolf was following her but to her surprise it wasn't there.
Annabel stopped to look around, she was puzzled, where had the beast gone? Then she heard growling from the trees to the left side of her.
“Annabel!” Matt shouted as he ran nearly into Annabel. “Annabel, I couldn't leave you alone.” Matt stammered as he was out of breath.
“I told you get out of here. Where's Ashley and the others?” Annabel pressed.
“They're all okay. Ashley is back at the car. You shouldn't be out her alone with a werewolf.” He replied. Just then the beast growled off in the distance. “He's circling us.” Matt remarked, and then he stood in front of Annabel.
The beast jumped out from behind Annabel clawing at her back as it landed. Annabel yelled out in pain as she felt the beast's claws rip her skin open. Matt moved suddenly, and then he pulled Annabel behind him placing himself between the two of them. Then Matt growled menacingly at the werewolf as he lunged his torso towards it. The beast lowered its head, and then it also backed up a step, as though it didn't want to hurt Matt. Matt growled again, and then the wolf put its head down even further as it continued to back up.
Suddenly another wolf sprung out from the woods to attack the black wolf. Annabel immediately recognized the attacking wolf was Vince. The two wolves rolled across the ground tangled together. The black wolf pulled itself back away from Vince, stunned, and then it stood up on his hind legs. The black wolf instantly shifted into his human form.
“Please, stop. I mean you no harm bother.” The man cried out for mercy, undressed and pitiful.
Vince shifted back also. “Who are you? Why are you attacking humans, you know it's forbidden?” Vince yelled as he stood, naked in the moonlight.
“Dad?” Matt asked in a confused tone. Vince and Annabel looked at one another then back at Matt.
“They were bullying my son.” The man muttered as he looked at Matt, and then he pointed at him. “We are better than these filthy humans but yet they treat us so unkind.” He looked at Vince hardheartedly. “I couldn't stand it anymore. Matt is a good kid and because he's different people walk all over him.”
“That's not true. Those kids are my friends and that girl that you scared is my girlfriend!” Matted yelled.
“But I wanted...”
“I don't even know you man! You left us when I was a baby. Why come back now? Wait, don't answer, I don't care!” Matt scolded, and then he looked over at Vince. “Just get him out of my sight, please.” Matt asked as he walked away.
“But I just wanted to teach him who he is.” Matt's father cried.
“No matter the reason, you know the price for showing yourself in true form.” Vince said. Matt's father nodded, silently. “I will need to take you in for violating our most sacred law. Besides, you scared an innocent girl for no reason.”
“No human is innocent!” He said as he looked down. “You will see brother, humans are not worth saving.” The man sat down as he cried.
Vince walked over to Annabel “Are you okay?” He asked as he tried to look her over, and then she nodded. “Good, if he had got you, you'd know it. Werewolves can tear a full grown man in two.” Vince added as he grinned, and then he handed her his car keys. “Go ahead and go back to the car and make sure those kids get home safely. I will have to take him back to the wolf clan. By our laws, the clan must deal with this. I can get back to Woodsgate on my own,” he explained and Annabel took the keys from him. “Annabel see you later.” Vince smiled at her, and then he turned back to the crying man.
As soon as he turned, Annabel ran off towards the car. She didn't want Vince to see the claw marks on her back. As she briskly ran she noticed that the pain from the wounds had ceased. She reached her hand back and felt her back. Her shirt was torn but she didn't feel any scratches on her flesh. Maybe the shock of the attack had made her think the beast had clawed her. Clearly, the beast had missed her flesh, so she was lucky this time.
She saw Matt and Ashley back at his car as she ran toward Vince’s car. The other frightened teens were all mostly still just sitting in their cars too. Annabel was just about to yell out to them when she noticed another vehicle pull up. Once she reached the parking spot and rounded Vince’s car she notice the other vehicle was a police car. She quickened her pace as the officer got out of the car to approach her.
“Hello, Annabel it’s good to see you again.” Lucy Ramon announced as she extended her hand to Annabel with a friendly smile on her face, which Annabel returned in kind. “I sure appreciate what you and Vince did here tonight,” she said in a hushed voiced. Annabel was confused. The situation was still fresh in her mind but yet Lucy, chief of police had already gotten wind of the case being solved. “I had no doubts that Vince would be able to take care of this rogue wolf. Now, it’s my turn to take care of what I call ‘clean up’,” she said, using her fingers to signal quotations, “You might want to get going now. I don’t want to accidentally sway you into forgetting what happened.” She laughed as she moved to walk away.
“Wait, how did you know that we caught the rogue wolf, it just barely…” Annabel asked just out of breath from the run back.
“Oh, Vince called me. He asked if I could come up and handle these kids before you get back to town and they start calling everyone they know and blowing up the internet. I better go handle that now before anything of the sort happens.” She explained as she turned, “Oh, you should cover your ears if you can. Do you have an mp3 player or something, those are very helpful in tuning out my sway powers.” She advised, “Heaven’s knows it sure works on my daughter, she tunes me out all the time.” She said under her breath jokingly.
“I have my mp3 player.” Annabel answered as she felt for it in her pocket.“Well, I’m sure we will be seeing a lot of each other, now that you’re a deputy. Have a good night, and don’t forget to put the music on!” She added as she headed over to the teens.
Annabel was afraid to even look back as she took out her music, and then she played the first random track. She hoped that Matt’s and Ashley’s blossoming romance would flourish and that he would continue to grow into the brave man he was meant to be. She did glance into the rear mirror as she drove away but it appeared as though all of the teens were already in their cars. Lucy Ramon was right; she had not heard one thing other than the sound of her own music.

The beast jumped out from behind Annabel clawing at her back as it landed. Annabel yelled out in pain as she felt the beast's claws rip her skin open. Matt moved suddenly, and then he pulled Annabel behind him placing himself between the two of them. Then Matt growled menacingly at the werewolf as he lunged his torso towards it. The beast lowered its head, and then it also backed up a step, as though it didn't want to hurt Matt. Matt growled again, and then the wolf put its head down even further as it continued to back up.
Suddenly another wolf sprung out from the woods to attack the black wolf. Annabel immediately recognized the attacking wolf was Vince. The two wolves rolled across the ground tangled together. The black wolf pulled itself back away from Vince, stunned, and then it stood up on his hind legs. The black wolf instantly shifted into his human form.
“Please, stop. I mean you no harm bother.” The man cried out for mercy, undressed and pitiful.
Vince shifted back also. “Who are you? Why are you attacking humans, you know it's forbidden?” Vince yelled as he stood, naked in the moonlight.
“Dad?” Matt asked in a confused tone. Vince and Annabel looked at one another then back at Matt.
“They were bullying my son.” The man muttered as he looked at Matt, and then he pointed at him. “We are better than these filthy humans but yet they treat us so unkind.” He looked at Vince hardheartedly. “I couldn't stand it anymore. Matt is a good kid and because he's different people walk all over him.”
“That's not true. Those kids are my friends and that girl that you scared is my girlfriend!” Matted yelled.
“But I wanted...”
“I don't even know you man! You left us when I was a baby. Why come back now? Wait, don't answer, I don't care!” Matt scolded, and then he looked over at Vince. “Just get him out of my sight, please.” Matt asked as he walked away.
“But I just wanted to teach him who he is.” Matt's father cried.
“No matter the reason, you know the price for showing yourself in true form.” Vince said. Matt's father nodded, silently. “I will need to take you in for violating our most sacred law. Besides, you scared an innocent girl for no reason.”
“No human is innocent!” He said as he looked down. “You will see brother, humans are not worth saving.” The man sat down as he cried.
Vince walked over to Annabel “Are you okay?” He asked as he tried to look her over, and then she nodded. “Good, if he had got you, you'd know it. Werewolves can tear a full grown man in two.” Vince added as he grinned, and then he handed her his car keys. “Go ahead and go back to the car and make sure those kids get home safely. I will have to take him back to the wolf clan. By our laws, the clan must deal with this. I can get back to Woodsgate on my own,” he explained and Annabel took the keys from him. “Annabel see you later.” Vince smiled at her, and then he turned back to the crying man.
As soon as he turned, Annabel ran off towards the car. She didn't want Vince to see the claw marks on her back. As she briskly ran she noticed that the pain from the wounds had ceased. She reached her hand back and felt her back. Her shirt was torn but she didn't feel any scratches on her flesh. Maybe the shock of the attack had made her think the beast had clawed her. Clearly, the beast had missed her flesh, so she was lucky this time.
She saw Matt and Ashley back at his car as she ran toward Vince’s car. The other frightened teens were all mostly still just sitting in their cars too. Annabel was just about to yell out to them when she noticed another vehicle pull up. Once she reached the parking spot and rounded Vince’s car she notice the other vehicle was a police car. She quickened her pace as the officer got out of the car to approach her.
“Hello, Annabel it’s good to see you again.” Lucy Ramon announced as she extended her hand to Annabel with a friendly smile on her face, which Annabel returned in kind. “I sure appreciate what you and Vince did here tonight,” she said in a hushed voiced. Annabel was confused. The situation was still fresh in her mind but yet Lucy, chief of police had already gotten wind of the case being solved. “I had no doubts that Vince would be able to take care of this rogue wolf. Now, it’s my turn to take care of what I call ‘clean up’,” she said, using her fingers to signal quotations, “You might want to get going now. I don’t want to accidentally sway you into forgetting what happened.” She laughed as she moved to walk away.
“Wait, how did you know that we caught the rogue wolf, it just barely…” Annabel asked just out of breath from the run back.
“Oh, Vince called me. He asked if I could come up and handle these kids before you get back to town and they start calling everyone they know and blowing up the internet. I better go handle that now before anything of the sort happens.” She explained as she turned, “Oh, you should cover your ears if you can. Do you have an mp3 player or something, those are very helpful in tuning out my sway powers.” She advised, “Heaven’s knows it sure works on my daughter, she tunes me out all the time.” She said under her breath jokingly.
“I have my mp3 player.” Annabel answered as she felt for it in her pocket.“Well, I’m sure we will be seeing a lot of each other, now that you’re a deputy. Have a good night, and don’t forget to put the music on!” She added as she headed over to the teens.
Annabel was afraid to even look back as she took out her music, and then she played the first random track. She hoped that Matt’s and Ashley’s blossoming romance would flourish and that he would continue to grow into the brave man he was meant to be. She did glance into the rear mirror as she drove away but it appeared as though all of the teens were already in their cars. Lucy Ramon was right; she had not heard one thing other than the sound of her own music.

They all sat in a large parlor room that looked like they stepped back in time to the roaring ‘20’s. There was a mellow song playing as the light dimmed. A beautiful woman dressed in a long, pink, breaded gown entered the room, she was holding a violin. Once the lights dimmed all the way she started to play the most grippingly seductive melody.
Suddenly, from the darkness one spotlight in the corner appeared and there standing in a blood-red, burlesque outfit was, Corrin. She had on black, stiletto heels, and thigh-highs attached to a garter. She moved so hypnotically to the music, it was like her body was stroking the violin strings.
Landry was quite amused; he always loved to watch Corrin perform. Duncan’s and Megan’s eyes were glued to Corrin.
Corrin gracefully made her way through the room towards them. She pulled one of her long silky gloves off with her teeth. She then playfully tossed the glove into Duncan’s face. Duncan laughed and he stuffed the glove into his pocket. Corrin sat down slowly onto Landry’s lap as the music ended.
Duncan and Megan clapped. Landry smiled at Corrin. “You were amazing as always, Corrin.”
“Oh yeah? Thank you, darling. Now, dance with me.”The violinist started another song with a slower melody.
“With pleasure, my lady.”
They danced around together slowly for a few minutes. With each turn Landry could see Duncan gesturing to him something he couldn’t understand.
“Landry, please tell Duncan he can stop waving his hands about, I’ve made my decision, and you can leave with Maya.”
