About The Author:

William Gensburger is the author of ‘TEXAS DEAD,’ a murder mystery novel, ‘DISTANT RUMORS,’ an anthology of 16 stories about life and death, and ‘HOMO IDIOTUS,’ a collection of published newspaper editorials.
He is also the publisher of ‘Books’N Pieces Magazine’ (soon to be a video podcast), where he has worked with many different authors, as well as publishing ‘The Concordian,’ a 24-page monthly community newspaper, until 2016.

Tammy Spears talks about her book Flutter of an Eye
Welcome to author and poet, Tammy Spears! I always love to learn where inspiration sprang from.
My name is Tammy Spears and I am Author of an inspirational poetry book "Flutter of an Eye". My Self- Published poetry book has been published through iUniverse of Bloomington, Indiana. My poem "Flutter of an Eye" has also been published in Upon Arrival-Interlude by Eber & Wein Publishing. My poems are also being published in the 2021 monthly editions of Neighbors of Bowling Green and Franklin Kentucky Magazines.
The book was written in memory of my beautiful "MOTHER" Diana Hullings, who passed away at a young age of 61 from lung cancer. ("MOTHER" is a poem in my book). My mother was and still is my inspiration in life and I wanted to dedicate my book of poetry in her memory to share with family and friends to be inspired as well.
My book of poetry contains inspirational poems of love for a Mother and a Mother’s love, blessings in life, love of family, love to share, God’s gifts and blessings, honoring the military, life experiences, seasons of change, memories of a loved one, reminiscing and cherishing precious time, and love of a child and spouse.
We only have "One Life" to live, make an "IMPACT" while you can, "Reach for Hope" when in need, "Come Together" and "Lend a Hand" to make a difference, "Cherish the Memories", "Precious Time" and all of "Life's Blessings" God sends your way "Year After Year". Won't you "Take me With You" on The "Walk" of life's journey? (All of the quotes are inspirational poems in my published poetry book).
The one message I would like to convey to my readers is to Cherish Life and the many Blessings God sends your way! "Dream"-"Dream"-"Dream" you can make your dreams a Reality! This was taken from one of my poems in the book called "Dream".
My advice to aspiring Authors would be to pursue your writing as an Author if it is a passion and make your "Dream" come to light!
I hope the poetry will touch your heart and soul as it did when I was writing it.

My latest release is an inspirational poetry book "Flutter of an Eye"
What are you working on now?
I am currently working on material to publish my second book of inspirational poems that will be titled "Fluttering On". The meaning of the title of the sequel is that my mother is "Fluttering On" with us as we are "Fluttering On" without her.
Was there a person who encouraged you to write?
When my mother passed I felt the need to express my love for her and what she meant to me by keeping her memory alive in my heart which allowed me to heal through the grieving process of losing her at a young age.
What would you say are your strengths as an author?
I believe my strengths touch others by making them feel the words of inspirational poetry down deep in their heart and soul.
How often do you write, and do you write using a strict routine?
I write whenever a thought or memory comes to me that I feel would touch others giving them hope in strength.
Five years from now, where do you see yourself as a writer?
Five years from now I see myself blessed by being published through a traditional Publisher and continuing to share my words of inspiration through my poetry for others to enjoy.

If you haven’t heard the story, I used to be the receptionist at a local martial arts school. Yup, that's me in the photo! I still have all my notes, even though I had to give up training. Since egos get bruised as easily as shins and thighs, writing a martial arts mystery series from that experience came naturally.
Gilda took the job at Yoshida Martial Arts to mend a broken heart and find her own inner strength after a bad breakup. It was less painful for her than Detective Jason Thayer who ended up head first in a fifty-pound bag of coffee beans. That was three years ago. Now that Gilda’s a blue belt heading for a brown belt grading (Sh! If you’ve already read Dead Without Shame, don’t give away how that turns out!), Thayer’s afraid to set foot in the school – or her house.
I created the fictional school into one where many people might not want to set foot and let Gilda Wright take over to solve crimes in Sandstone Cove. Much to the chagrin of those closest to her! Lucky for her, she has Sensei Mick on her side. As well as Marion Yearly, her best friend, and Kane Garrick…well, Gilda’s not sure what he is yet.

But things go awry when their special guest referee for the opening exhibition match is found dead on the beach. To make matters worse, the school’s new weapon’s instructor Kane Garrick, who is enough to make any woman lose her head and her heart, stands accused of his murder. In spite of her promise to Mick and nearly everyone else in Sandstone Cove not to get involved, Gilda wades into danger one more time. The only question is, can Gilda catch the killer before the killer catches up to her?

Once more, Gilda considers leaving the karate school to work for her friend Happy (no one has ever called him Harvey). When three men rob Happy Harvey’s Hangover Hut killing the woman at the front counter, Gilda is stunned to think that could have been her. Was this a mere robbery, or does someone have a vendetta against Happy, including his good friend Gary del Garda? The evidence keeps piling up while both her mother and another karate instructor come to town bearing secrets that may cost Gilda the life she loves in Sandstone Cove.

The newest Gilda Wright Mystery arrive in August 2021! Book 5 is technically Book 2.5 and was originally a bridge between Books 2 & 3. This one will be a bit of a blast from the past and finally answer the mystery of how Sensei Mick lost his hearing.
Someone has destroyed the building that housed the former Yoshida Martial Arts School leaving numerous people injured and one dead. Considering Sensei Mick Williams owns the building, Gilda Wright needs to clear his name, plus track a killer before her suspects scatter like debris.
