Responsibility of the individual
Hi,everyone, I am new but I hope to catch up soon. Things are a bit crazy around here so please bear me with my sudden absences and presences in this site.
I am not just a writer but a scriptwriter and I teach French and scriptwriting to grad and post-grad programmes. As a writer and a teacher I always stress on responsibility of people of our profession towards the mass- the public. Even when we write fiction we owe the truth to our readers and our audiences.
Today the world has become tougher, and not because of the economy, but because of our overrated commercialisation in everything from education to media to individuality to choosing a career. And we are now more dissatisfied as people, as nations, as cultures and as a civilisation because of that- iinstead of progressing we are regressing. And it is time not just to sit back realise and accept it, but to do something about it.
Hope you get to read my book, review it and give your honest opinion-
Till later guys,
Nagwa
btw for all of those out there fasting...have a blessed Ramadan.
