Ed Eng is an author, professor, former Fortune 500 executive, and former mayor whose work explores leadership under pressure and the choices people make when circumstances don't go according to plan.

His book, The Accidental Mayor, tells the story of his family's immigration from Hong Kong to Los Angeles' Chinatown and the unexpected journey that eventually took him from the side streets of Chinatown to the main street of City Hall.

Drawing on four decades of leadership experience across business, government, education, and public service, Ed writes and teaches about practical leadership, personal growth, and the decisions that shape our lives.

He is currently working on his next leadership book. ...more
