Finding Gratitude From Nothing
Happy After Thanksgiving!
I hope your holiday was tummy-filling, family filled, and restful, with lots of books. :)
I posted a new blog entry today about gratitude. It's easy to have some when you have plenty -- a house, food, clothes, good health -- but what about when you have absolutely nothing but the clothes on your back? Can you find it? Let me tell you why you should always have it and keep it.

Did you do NaNoWriMo? I did and it was fun but exhausting. Almost got to 60K! So much editing! That's for next year. haha

I've been reading some good books lately and I just realized that I need to update my recommendations! I guess it will look like I read a lot of them in the last couple days. haha

7 Reasons NOT to NaNo (but I am)
Hello and BRRR!
I can saw glorious Autumn arrived and I have the heat on. I'm beside myself with joy. This is the time of year when I get the most writing done, when I have my "spring fever" and want to clean out ever closet and drawer, and I look forward to homemade soups!
And writing. Today's blog post covers why you should not participate in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). Well, sorta. Don't mind the sarcasm, ok?

Proof Vampires are Real
Happy cold and truly Autumn Monday!
Today's blog leans to Halloween. Based on some archeological reads, I decided to post about my love - vampires. Evidence suggests (again, still?) that so many civilizations believed in vampirism that it makes you wonder how it could be a lie. I say it isn't. Writers can learn a lot from history and change their tired tropes!

Hope your week will be glorious. Mine promises to be busy but I hope to get some outlining done for NaNoWriMo (that's National Novel Writing Month) so I'll be ready for November.

Happy October! After being away for several weeks (for surgery), I'm happy to say I'm back and as feisty as ever!

My new release, LOVE AND BLOOD, is off to a good start and the reviews are very high. I hope you'll decide to try my series. It's original and unlike the other vampires and supernaturals that are out there now. Plus we are building up to another book next year and new mysteries.

I'm back with news!
Hello! Sorry to be away for so long. I've been ill and was in the hospital too. I'm recovering now and guess what? I've released my new book, LOVE AND BLOOD, Evening Bower Series Book 2!

In addition to the new book, I've a new blog post up (after a month, again, sorry). This time I admit to dealing with personal demons as I learned a bit more about perspective. This will strengthen and deepen my characterizations because of the personal attachment that I have to the situation.

My Goodreads reading isn't updated and I'll be seeing to that in this next week. But I hope you get a chance to check out my new book! It's the best thing I've ever done and I'm mad/crazy/wild for this story.
