What is recasting?
Recasting is a form of corrective feedback. It is used often in speech and language therapy. Recasts can be focus on pronunciation, on grammar, or on vocabulary. After a recast, repetition is not expected.
Recasts may sound like this:
Child: Wawa.
Mom: Water, you want water.
Child: I runned fast.
Mom: You ran very fast.

Pronunciation difference between TO, TOO, TWO?
What is the difference between the pronunciation of TO, TOO, TWO?
Nothing, these words are all pronounced the same way: T-long EW.

Pronunciation difference between FOR and FOUR?
FOUR and FOR are pronounced the same way. These words have two sounds: F-OR.
To say these words, start by saying the F sound by gently biting your bottom lip. Move to the OR vowel by starting with your tongue tip behind your bottom, front teeth with the back pulled towards the roof of the mouth. Your lips move from puckered to rounded.

It can be pronounced as a K or S sound. How do you know which sound to use? Follow these simple rules:
Pronounce the letter “C” as an “S” sound if the letter “C” is followed by the letters “E”, “I”, or “Y”.
This is true in the words “central”, “city”, and “cyst”.
Pronounce the letter “C” as a “K” sound, if the letter “C” is followed by the letters “A”, “O”, or “U”.
This is true in the words “can”, “corn”, and “cut”.
