Teaser: ‘An Open Lock’
So Ian’s first book will be called ‘An Open Lock’ and is told from Olivia’s perspective. Here is a teaser for you guys:
“Now about that kiss,” he reminds me.
“No,” I whisper as he comes close. It’s not exactly convincing but, as I mentioned, his proximity does something to me.
“I don’t like that word,” he whispers back, taking my hands in his.
I stand lamely as he positions my hands behind my back and pins them both there in one of his much larger hands. I whimper slightly but the effect is lost behind the excited heave of my chest. His spare hand trails up my spine and grasps at the nape of my neck, tilting my head back to meet my mouth with his.
When he’s kissing me, my mind goes blank and gives itself to the raw carnal pleasure. His touch is like fire, heating me up in all the places I wish would ignore him. My body softens against him, the last of my resistance slipping away because his kiss is so perfect. It’s tender but aggressive, soft but firm. It’s everything a kiss should be.
“Good night, Olivia,” he rasps, pulling away.

The next books in the Contradictions series
Well, Craig is now out there for the world to see and those of you who follow me on Facebook are probably aware that Ian Carter is already elbowing his way into the forefront of my mind.
I’m fairly decided now that he deserves two books which means there will most likely not be a HEA at the end of book 1 (sorry!) it also means I won’t be releasing book 1 until I’m half way through book 2. This means you won’t have to wait as long for the second half of the story.
Ian is a huge personality with an extremely complex mixture and I want to do him justice. I think these will be my best books yet and I’m so excited. I’m just working out the intricacies of some of the twists for the plot line but I’ve already started writing.
The prologue is written by Ian Carter himself. (Of course he’d want the first word in his books!) I will be sharing this prologue once ‘A Natural Act’ gets a few more reviews on Amazon so if you haven’t left a review yet and want to get a bit of the oldest Carter brother – you know what to do!
Needless to say, as a complex man, Ian leads an equally complex sex life. There’s a very specific kind of woman who can challenge him in this regard and I can’t wait for you to meet her!

Blurb for ‘A Natural Act’
Here is the blurb for ‘A Natural Act‘:
“The trick to coping with the pain is to really think about what’s happening and try to understand. I think about why
this is happening to me, why everything went so wrong.
Why my fiancé wants to hurt me.”
When Isabella West finds herself in hospital once more, she has given up on life. She is bruised, broken, and beaten. Far from the ambitious young law student she once was. Craig Carter, foundation doctor and resident bad boy, sees the mess of bandages that hide a beautiful woman and his morals won’t let him stay away.
Intent on helping her escape her abusive partner, Craig does all he can to help her get back on her feet but that’s where the help stops. He can offer her friendship and nothing more. He’s barely balancing his medical career with his family life and, with MMA-titles to uphold, the last thing he needs is an extra complication.
A complication is exactly what Isabella is. As the first woman to see behind his layers, Craig enjoys her company but she’s recovering from years of abuse and not ready for a new relationship. Craig isn’t looking for one so that suits him just fine. For now.

Cover Reveal: ‘A Natural Act’
I’m very pleased with how this one turned out. For me, it perfectly sums up the two sides of Craig: Medical and MMA.
Many thanks to all involved.

‘A Natural Act’ – Release Date
Well, I was shooting for July when I originally started writing. I published 4 books within the space of 6 months and that’s not a trend I can maintain – much as I’d like to be super human.
Since I moved back to England I’ve been very busy with my new job and moving in to my new house and this has gotten in the way of ‘A Natural Act’. Mr Carter is not happy.
However, since part of my distraction is a real life man (with real life abs!), Mr Carter has been pushed aside. He’s even less happy about that and we’ve had to have words. Real life man has been told off and forced to wear a t-shirt at all times. The release date for Craig’s book will therefore be the 15th September if all goes to plan. I will do my best to get it to you by then and meet Craig’s exacting standards.
I’m sorry for keeping you waiting but I want to make sure it’s perfect before it reaches you. As always, ARCs should be coming out a couple of weeks before that.

A Natural Act – Teaser #1
“I think you might be my guardian angel,” I mumble into his solid chest.
“I’m no angel, lady,” he chuckles bitterly. “But I’ll be your guardian.”
“Why?” I ask because I need to understand. He must see more than a few cases of domestic abuse in his line of work. He may be a good person but I doubt he takes them all into his home.
“Why not,” he shrugs.

The Next Book in The Contradictions Series
I’m far enough in now that I feel comfortable announcing who the next book will be about. I’m head over heels with this Carter brother and have to admit he’s always been one of my favourites.
There will be more info coming soon and this book will be similar in length and style to ‘An Imperfect Circle’ although it will be NA rather than YA. It is part of the ‘Contradictions’ series and can therefore be read as a standalone.
The next Carter brother to get his own book will be:
Craig!
I’m shooting for around June/July 2014. Which will mean I’ll have published 5 books in a year.
