CAUGHT UP IN YOU is LIVE!
WAHOOO!!! My new novella, CAUGHT UP IN YOU, told from Bartender Blake’s point of view is now LIVE on Kindle and Nook for only 99 cents!
This was not a story I intended to write. That is, until I saw the fan reaction to Blake’s character in OUT FROM UNDER YOU. For many, he was a favorite! That’s when I knew that I had to explore him deeper. So I decided to write a short story from his perspective. And DAMN, did I have fun doing it! Blake came alive to me in the writing of this book. He was funny, sarcastic, witty, and so deliciously flirty! I fell in love with him. So THANK YOU to all the fans who expressed their love for him early on. Otherwise, I may never have gotten to spend this time with him!
Although CAUGHT UP IN YOU is technically a companion novel to OUT FROM UNDER YOU, I wrote it so that anyone can enjoy it, regardless of whether you’ve read the first book.
So without further ado, I introduce you to BLAKE THOMAS!

4 More Days and a Snippet!
What the WHAT!??? I can’t believe CAUGHT UP IN YOU, my new Smart Girls Finish First novella releases in only 4 days!!! How is this possible?
In case you’re as impatient as I am right now, I thought I’d send you off into the weekend with a fun new snippet from the novella. Are you ready?
Remember, this book is from bartender Blake’s POV.

She didn’t blink. Her eyes stayed locked into mine and, like a small zap of electricity, I felt the shift.
The fall.
After seducing enough women, you just start to know when you’ve succeeded.
When the race is won. There’s a tipping point. A precipice. And you can feel when they collapse over the edge of it.
Some women—like Lia—fight so hard and for so long to stay on that edge. They dig in their heels and scrape their fingernails against the dirt, like they’re hanging on for dear life.
Other women are willing to jump over the edge the second you say their name with any amount of urgency.
But I could feel the moment Lia slipped. And I was so desperate to keep her on my side of the divide, so determined to make sure she didn’t manage to crawl back to her safe zone, I barely even noticed the third person who’d appeared at the side of the booth.

CAUGHT UP IN YOU – First Snippet!
I was putting the finishing touches on CAUGHT UP IN YOU today (the novella from Blake’s POV) and I thought I’d share a fun snippet from one of my favorite scenes. God, Blake is SO much fun to write!
So…without further ado, here you go…

“So,” Lia said, breaking me out of my reverie. “What is your deal?”
I laughed. “My deal?”
She nodded. “Your deal.”
I couldn’t be sure but I swore I heard her voice slur slightly on the last word. My hopes instantly rose. Tipsy Lia would be a lot more willing to take clothes off than sober Lia. That I could be sure of.
“I don’t have a deal,” I insisted.
She squinted. “Oh, you so have a deal. All guys like you have a deal.”
“How many times are we going to say the word deal? Should we turn it into a drinking game? Make things interesting?” I flagged down the waitress and ordered a Jack and Coke. Lia asked for the same.
“Do you always drink Jack and Coke?” I asked.
She shrugged. “Maybe.”
I laughed. “Are you trying to be mysterious?”
Her eyes twinkled. “Maybe.”

Announcing: CAUGHT UP IN YOU (a novella from Blake’s POV!)
When I wrote OUT FROM UNDER YOU, I was pretty sure there would be mixed reactions about the characters and their choices through the story. And I was right! But what I wasn’t expecting was the overwhelming outpouring of love (and swooning) for the secondary character of Blake, the sexy bartender that works in Lia’s restaurant. I’m SO happy that you guys liked him!
In fact, I was so inspired by your love for Blake that I decided to write a whole novella from his point of view!

And let me tell you, once I started writing from Blake’s perspective, I got really hooked. I kinda fell in love with him…like…a LOT! And I hope you guys will have as much fun reading his story as I have had writing it!
The cover (which is pretty damn steamy, if I don’t say so myself!) will be revealed on September 23 and the novella will be available for purchase on October 15!
