Solar Eclipse New Moon in Leo

A Slow Blink of New Consciousness

The Sun is the light, energy and pulse of our planet, providing us with warmth, vitality, and LIFE that structures our daily world and patterns. In astrology, the Sun is Masculine, fire, self-identity, creation, movement, public, outer world, ego and life growth. The Sun is your sense of Self and where we are each developing more of our I AM identity in this lifetime in order to contribute to the collective.

Conversely, the Moon is Feminine, private, internal, and emotional. She rises every evening to balance our energy fields and bring us inward to ourselves. The Moon reveals what is happening within us and to connect us with what is hidden within our own subconscious so we can know our hearts and needs more fully. The Moon is nurturing, open, inviting, and wise.

As the Moon makes its way across the Sun for the Total Solar Eclipse at 29 degrees Leo, the Masculine is hidden by the Feminine. The Moon darkens the light so we can sit in a place of deeper wisdom and reveal what we need to feel right now.

Solar Eclipses happen twice a year all over the world, so they are not unique in occurrence, yet this one is extra potent in how the United States is being invited into the depths of its self and to collectively ask:

Who are we in the dark?

What are our shadows that we need to see and heal in order to begin anew?

The Solar Eclipse is offering us an opportunity to investigate:

When the light is removed, and all is As It Is, what does my heart say?

What does my heart feel?

What - and who - is in my heart?

The focus is of this event has been on the Sun - Look at me! Look at how I shine! - yet the true spectacle of the event is the Moon as she slowly makes her way across the brightest light in the solar system. Underneath how you "show up" in the word, the truth of your intentions or what you need may be hidden. But how do you feel and are you willing to own those sacred parts of yourself more.

This is a New Moon in Leo at 28/29 degrees that is inviting you to go deeper into your heart's shadows and the needs you have hidden from yourself. Did parts of you get buried under shame, guilt, betrayal, heartbreak, and heartache? Have you allowed those experiences to over-shadow who you are now and what you need now? Are you ready to rise up from those experiences with greater power and strength?

A mystical, cosmic event such as this can reset our individual pulse's with the pulse of the Universe and activate deeper consciousness. As the skies get darker and the temperature drops, we see further into the galaxy and millions of stars will be revealed. We will see how our tiny place in the cosmos matters and yet what are we actively doing to create the life, planet, and experiences that we want?

The Sun is being eclipsed by the Moon over the United States as a new beginning point of creation and risk-taking. The last time this occurred was in 1776 - the date of the U.S. Constitution. So if you were looking for any kind of significance to this event, there ya go.

I feel this New Moon Solar Eclipse to be a slow blink of new consciousness where we take 2 full minutes to tune out the ego and tune in to the heart on a deeper level.

Only you can do that for yourself, but collectively, we are each fortified with new levels of confidence, courage, and connection to your heart's needs. This is not mental; you cannot think your way through it.

You are being invited to look at what you are holding within your heart space, and to receive new light around it when the Sun begins to shine again.

Recognize the Divine in All

Divine energy is within all of us. It is our essence, our nature, our composition.
It is our eternal connection to the Love that we are in All ways.
By recognizing this in yourself, you also energetically recognize and connect to it in others.
This recognition increases the wiring of Divine energy between us All.
And so the expansion continues.

Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius - Change Is Here!

When the Full Moon rises to its peak level of light, we receive a full blast of energy from the cosmos to show us what we need to know, see, and feel right now. The Lunar Eclipse on August 7th is a Full Moon at 15 degrees Aquarius, and it's illuminating 'the vision ahead' and the way forward that advances your soul growth BEYOND what your ego self can embrace.

That means you are being guided to keep moving forward and not feel held back by too much pride, or insecurity, or concern with what 'everyone thinks.' Chances are, they are too concerned with their own matters to put a lot of thought towards your life direction.

So what would you choose if no one else's opinion mattered and the decision set you free? What feels good to you because it honors your path and dreams in a way that give back to the collective?

This Lunar Eclipse amplifies where we give our feelings away to other people and/or how we hold ourselves back because we don't want to separate from others. A part of you wants to feel connected to a bigger group or ideal, but you're being reminded that it is already true simply as a member of the human family.

Both the Sun and Mars in Leo oppose this Lunar Eclipse, which creates a push-and-pull between what you want to receive and what you want to give...between what your heart feels and what your ego believes it needs to get ahead. There is aggression and contention, but Saturn in Sag at 21 degrees helps get to the truth of the matter with maturity. Allow others to own their talents knowing it doesn't impede on your ability to shine and share.

Jupiter in Libra makes a supportive sextile to the Sun and trines the Moon, providing optimism, faith, confidence, and belief in the right people supporting us now.

We also have a Mystic Rectangle in the Lunar Eclipse chart between Pluto, Neptune, Mercury, and Venus. These 4 planets are talking intimately and asking you to assess relationships that support your spiritual growth (Venus trine Neptune) and authentic, honest conversations that allow you to heal a core issue more fully (Mercury trine Pluto). A Mystic Rectangle requires checking in on your yin and yang energy and is meant to help us see new revelations around deeper issues we've been carrying. You may have a new understanding that breaks you free from a struggle.

You are ready to revolutionize your energy field with greater LIGHT and advancement now - and it's been building for most of 2017. Be at peace with who you are and balance that with a willingness to be expansive in your life possibilities.

August is a month of forward movement and change, so say yes to the next step, new adventure, and all progress forward because it IS time and you are ready. Let's do this!

Creative Confidence Coming In!

Are you holding yourself back from your FULL creative expression?
