Writing Update

So here we are. I have just passed 40 thousand words in my next book. For a little context most books are about 80-100 thousand words. So I am a little less than half

way from finishing. Hopefully. Maybe.

This is even cooler news since I started writing this book less than two weeks ago. And I am really like this book so far.

Now don’t expect to be seeing a new book in two weeks as even if by some miracle I keep up this pace. (doubtful since my hand is starting to cramp.) I still have editing and all that fun stuff that has to be done.  But if I am able to keep up this pace then it is possible that I could have a new book out within the month. Maybe.

Though sadly for those who are wanting Dynasty 4 I regret to say that it is not that. However this is not a new series and I intend to continue working on that series as soon as this one is done. I just needed to get away from fantasy for a short time.

So fingers crossed.

Piracy. Rrrrrr.

It has recently come to my attention that my books are available for download in what some might say to be less than legal ways. Now I have seriously considered taking them down but in the end I do like the fact that people are downloading and reading my work and seemingly enjoying it. Though I would like to point out that right now I do make my living off of writing and the only money I make from my writing is through book sales. So if people are not buying my book then I make no money and have to stop writing.

Now please do not think that I am coming across as preachy or that I am somehow damning all people who pirate to hell. Lets face it, we all have much better reasons for going there. But I would ask you this. If you do or did download my books from a torrent site and you do not latter buy the book I would appreciate it if you would at least give my books an honest review on amazon. This helps other people when deciding if they should buy my books or not and a single review on amazon to me is more than worth a free copy.

And if you have bought any of my books I would just like to thank you again for supporting me and the work of lesbifying the world.

On a slightly unrelated note, I have been writing non stop these past few days and so far I am really liking where this is going. So look forward to that.

Also I will be sending Dynasty 3 to the editors some time this week so that should be a thing real soon.

Merry Christmas

So here is the working cover to a book that I hope to have done very soon. How soon? No clue.

So a day late but still a gift non the less.

For all of you whom I am sure is waiting with baited breath for Dynasty 4, you will be happy to know that this wee I officially began work on it and I am shy of 10 thousand words.

I have been working on my other works but none of them seem to really be flowing out of me at the moment and I have kind of put two of them on hold for the time being. That being said the new Dynasty book is coming along so I just might have that out next despite my best efforts.

So Merry Christmas everyone and I hope you have a good new year.

Grammar and Commas

So as some of you may have noticed in reading my stories, my books tend to be lacking a bit when it comes to grammar aspect. While I do think my writing is getting better it is still very far from perfect. And I am sure that all of you would rather not wait for me to improve to the point were my stories don’t have a misused word every paragraph and I actually put commas where they are suppose to be.

So it should come to everyone’s delight to learn that I am hiring a

professional editor that does not cost the souls of virgins to go over all my previous work as well as all future works.

It’s harder than it looks.

To help thin out the cost I will be doing one book a month at the start of January starting with Dynasty 3 and working back. If I do finish another book in that time that will then be the book that receives the editing treatment.

Sadly though for those of you who have already bought my book Amazon will not update your copy with the edited version so you are regretfully stuck with the error filled one that you have.

Writing Update.

Hello, been a while since I last posted anything I know.

To be honest there just was not much to update you on. October Book

Sells were amazing and so far the feed back I have gotten on Dynasty 3 is good book but the second one was better. Not exactly what I want to hear but it just means I need to do better next time.

As far as writing goes I normally take the first month after I release a book off and just unwind, playing video games and catching up on my reading and this time was no different. And I am actually twenty thousand words in on three different books so it is kind of a race to see which one I will actually finish and publish. I will say though that none of those three books is the next Dynasty book. To be honest I have not even started writing the fourth book and do not plan to start anytime soon. I am a little burnt out on fantasy right now and am focusing on other genres at the moment and I do not plan on starting the next Dynasty until after I finish one of these three books. But then I thought the exact same thing with Dynasty 3 and look how that turned out.

That being said Fallout 4 comes out tomorrow and I am willing to bet that will be holding my attention until Christmas and dont be surprised if my next book happens to take place in a post-apocalyptic world. (A coincidence i assure you.)     

So basically I reserve the right to change my mind and I do what I want.

First week of sales.

I just want to thank all of you for a great opening week. This has not only been the best week of sales ever, but in the past five days is already the best month in terms of sales. So thank you all so much you have blown my mind and my expectations. You are all awesome.

Book 3 The Glorious Strategist

I have just uploaded book three to Amazon. It should be live in the next 12 to 24 hours.

First Draft is Finished!

So yeah the first draft of Dynasty 3 is done!

I have had people reading and editing it along the way but now come the really fun part of really going through it and making the drastic changes. Finding the spots that are to slow and trimming it up or out as well as finding the things that are to confusing and going into more elaboration.

I will basically send it to one person make the changes send it to another then repeat until I stop finding changes to be made. Googledocs is actually surprisingly helpful in all this.

As far as a time frame goes, I’m sorry I don’t have one for you. It will take as long as it takes and lets leave it at that. I hope that it does not take too long, like in the next week, but I’m not making any promises. While my spelling and grammar is leaps and bounds better than it was at the beginning of this year, (Wow three book in less than a year. Amazing.) I think you would all still appreciate it if I take my time to check it over as much as possible before publishing.

I will make a post when I start uploading it to Amazon. It usually takes about 12 hours after that to go live. I hope to have it out as soon as possible. Until then here is the cover of the next book so keep an eye out for it. You should be seeing it on Amazon soon.  

Writing Update

So good news everyone. I just past 70 thousand words in book 3. I still got a little ways to go but I am thinking I am in the home stretch. If I can have a few more days like today where I write nearly 10 thousand words I should be done with this in no time.

Now a question to all of you. There is actually a story in the Dynasty Saga that takes place during Lymee’s travels. I did not put it into the second book because it was supper long and ultimately had no bearing on the book or the overall plot of the series. If  I decided to write it at all it would actually be told from the view point of Yoni and would focus on an adventure not even mention in the second or third books.

If this is something you, the readers, would enjoy reading and would like me to write it let me know. If I feel there is enough want for it I will gladly sit down and make it like quick 100 page story and it will be like a 2.5 book or something.
