Hitler’s America
Susan Robinson does late term abortions and then gives the corpse of the dead baby to the mother to hold. She takes baby footprints and gives the mother a “memory box”. She does this for late term abortions where there are fetal abnormalities. Read more about it here. Robinson said she sometimes will say “non-denominational [Read More...]

Everybody’s Lying About Everything
Veteran journalist Seymour Hersh says the Obama Administration is far worse that Bush and that everybody is lying about everything and the mainstream media are covering up and “carrying water” for Obama. Read more here. One of the problems is the abundance of “information” from so many different sources. The internet has exploded with stories [Read More...]

Bergoglio’s List
A new book has been published in Italian which details the Pope’s work saving people from the military regime in Argentina. He organized a secret, underground network to rescue those targeted by the regime. In his Argentina, between 1976 and 1983, Jorge Mario Bergoglio lived through the ‘years of lead’ of the military dictatorship. Kidnappings, [Read More...]

Fr Faber — Heroic Priest
An excellent article here from London’s Catholic Herald on Fr Faber–a heroic convert from Anglicanism. He was a writer of hymns, great liturgist and lover of the poor. He and Newman didn’t get on very well, but that doesn’t stop Faber from being one of the great Anglican convert priests. The Oratorians are still doing [Read More...]

Did Pope Francis Undermine US Catholic Bishops?
Rod Dreher in the NY Times suggests that the effect of Pope Francis’ America interview is that American Catholics (and the rest of the liberal gang) now assume that Catholic bishops need to simply shut up about abortion, same sex marriage and contraception because the Pope has told them to. Read the article here. I fear he [Read More...]

Obama Administration Attacks Nuns
Elizabeth Scalia highlights the iniquitous hypocrisy of the Obama Administration who will not exempt the Little Sisters of the Poor from paying for health care that includes abortion, contraceptives and sterilization. What kind of a creepy government have we elected who trumpet their concern for the poor and needy while imposing a crippling health care [Read More...]

Looking Out for the Little Guy
I’m re-reading Lord of the Rings and have just finished the first book. Why is this such a great masterpiece? Not only because Tolkien spent his whole life writing and re-writing until it was perfect, but because of its deeply Catholic themes, and the main theme throughout the whole book is the triumph of the little [Read More...]

Booze, Marcus Grodi and a demented Beagle
I’m feeling a bit blue today–still trying to get over a very heavy cold that knocked me out for five days last week. So I noted on Facebook that a glass of bourbon would probably be a very good medicine. The status elicited this comment from my friend Marcus Grodi: Actually, if you are a [Read More...]

Traditional Churches are a Sermon in Stone
Fr Charles Pope writes here on the beauty and strength of traditional church architecture. Catholics have often endured the charge that we are an unbiblical Church. Strange accusation, really, for the Church that collected the Scriptures, determined the canon of Scripture and preached it for 1,500 years before there ever was a Protestant denomination. The fact [Read More...]

Defending Papa Benedict
Pope Benedict has broken his self imposed silence to defend his record against attacks that he did not do enough to expose child molesting priests. London’s Daily Telegraph reports on the Pope Emeritus’ dialogue with a leading atheist about this issue here. The critics have jumped in with unfounded accusations that he never exposed a [Read More...]
