Sorel, The White Mage
Firebirdgarden at deviantart continually amazes me with her portrayals of my characters. Here she gives us Sorel, the White Mage. He carries a lot of secrets, and a heavy burden. Friend or foe? Difficult to tell. But isn’t he beautiful? Thanks firebirdgarden!

NeverWinter Nights
I don’t know whether I should call this retro or old-school but this begins a series of reviews of games that are too old to stand up well next to the current generation of video games, but were far too good to be forgotten completely. For their time, for their era, they were excellent. Their

L. A. Catron’s Pandora Stations
I realize this is unimaginable for someone of my generation, but … I had never used Pandora until this week. I’d always assumed that it could only be used on an iPhone. And since I only use the phone (of any type) for absolutely essential functions … I never bothered with Pandora. I may have developed

Borderlands 2
I never played the first game in this series, but my boyfriend got me Borderlands 2 for our anniversary so I gave it a shot. (It turns out that you don’t even need to play the first game to understand what’s going on in this one. It stands alone very nicely). I usually prefer fully

Lrill and company
Firebirdgarden comes through again! Stunning portrayal of Lrill and her friends. Behind her, the fellow in dreadlocks is the Changeling Prince, Tyren. He has a bit of an attitude problem but he’s deeply honorable. Has no patience for idiots. Even further towards the back, we should all be familiar with our dark haired, earring-wearing Water

Zi the Adorable Snapdragon
This little fella has become my icon! Snapdragons are vegetarians and oh-so-cute! This particular one saw no purpose in learning to fly … because his Gnome “daddy” carried him around everywhere!
