Happy Valentine's Day!
I have so many loves in my life. I'm so entirely grateful for them...my darling husband who loves me. My children... family, friends...I'm so glad to know, too, that my sweetheart does love me. That's so important to a romantic like me. He misses me when I'm gone. My kids tell me how cute he is when I'm not there, how he mopes around cleaning everything in sight, asking if I've called...so sweet. :) I love him. It makes my day to know that I'm thought of and missed.
I love my kiddos, too. Wow! What amazing feelings come up when thinking of them. I'm so blessed. I thank God for so many special people in my life. I'm such a happier person knowing they're there.
Gosh, and then there's extended family...I have the best! I'm so lucky to have them in my life. Pictures surround me, and I look at all their faces and recall the joy I feel when I'm with them. Just amazing! I'm just so grateful for loved ones and friends.
You are ALL jewels in my life. Thank you for being there!
And sweetheart...I love you!

Seasons of Life...
It's almost been a month since I blogged about anything, and so I figured it was way passed time to write something. The only problem, I really don't have much to tell. Life is good. We're all alive and kicking. What more could I ask for? The Christmas holiday was beautiful and fully enjoyed with family and guests that stayed and helped make our celebrations bright. Christmas is such a special time. We are so blessed to have a Savior. New Year's was just as fun. We had a Harry Potter marathon since we had not seen all the movies. We've consumed an inordinate amount of popcorn. It was crazy fun. My family spoiled me on my birthday, making it a two day event instead of one, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Who doesn't love getting spoiled? I'm tired from all the busyness. It really drains me, but its worth it.
And now I'm trying to get back into my writing groove. I'm helping edit a dear friend's work, as well as my own sweet husband's books. He published his first book in December and just finished his second book last week. Now we have yet to finish the editing process, but I'm excited about this book. He's a natural born writer. And my next book is due out in the springtime.
I have so much to be grateful for. Another year has come and gone and this new year of 2015 has been a great start off of good things to come. I feel my blessings mounting, even through hardships. I love my family and extended family with all my heart. I'm ever so grateful for them. My mom had an episode this past weekend, which shakes us all up, as it should, but I'm so very thankful that she's still with us.
Life is good. I hope you can see your blessings through your trials too. There is much peace to be found in counting them.

Short Stories to be Released!
I am gearing up to release two short stories soon. They are Victorian Romance Short Stories called Lady Gabrielle and Lady Elisabeth about Carly (The Governess) and Susannah's (Pirate Bride) parents falling in love and also Creighton's (The Governess) parents falling in love. Two more short stories will be added sometime in the future to make it a four book set. I'm really excited about sharing these love stories with you all. I'm looking for some beta-readers who would be interested in reading them to see if they are ready for publication. I think they are, but I'm more interested in what you think. :) Also, I'm interested in gathering reviews from those of you who beta read so that, as soon as I publish them, they have some reviews out there to look at.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Blessings have been abundant in my life with loving family, friends, and a loving Father in heaven. I am so grateful for these blessings, along with so many, many others. Truly, I can't count them all for there are so many I take for granted, but I wish to be especially grateful today. Have a Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Writer's Retreat 2014!

...and a photo with Marcy... ;) Wow! What an incredible weekend! And thank you, Wendy Swore, for the awesome excuse to go and write to my heart's content! I believe there was 22 authors in all that were there at the Authors Incognito Writer's Retreat 2014, and all made it an amazing experience, just like last year at my first retreat. A cabin, friends and fellow authors, great food, and a great view--all attached to TIME to write. It was an adventure. I was able to pump out 21,000 words, lost 2300 of them, but was able to recover by writing up an outline of what went missing...the only downfall to writing till you are bleary-eyed. :) It was all worth it. Now Book Three in The Huntington Saga Series Novels is about 1/3 of the way complete. I moved the deadline to spring, since I know it won't be done this month, so put it on your calendars, folks!
Here's to the beautiful stories out there in the world yet to consume! I love reading, so here's to all of you awesome authors out there!
