Women who read romance and erotic novels have 74% more sex
According to a scientific study conducted by Harold Leitenberg of The Journal of Sex Research and Psychological Bulletin, women who read romance or erotic novels have 74% more sex with their partners than those who don’t. This is because women fantasize more frequently, and have more intense and realistic fantasies, when they read suggestive content.
The report states that women not only have more sex, but are having better sex by engaging in more playful, and a wider variety of erotic activities. In fact, according to The Fertility Advocate, the use of reading to boost sexual desire is called Bibliotherapy and is recommended by therapists to encourage women to get their groove on in the bedroom.
So, if you’re embarrassed by the thought of people seeing you out and about reading 50 Shades of Grey, why not read The Tilted Truth; you’ll be getting aroused and enjoying a better sex life, and no-one will ever know

IMPRESSIONS
I’ve started my second novel under the working title Citizen Ignited. Part of the process is to develop a character profile for each player in the story. This past weekend I went to The Shakti Fest in Joshua Tree, CA, a three day event, which I found to be an interesting experience that will reflect in the personality of one of the novel’s characters, a female investigative reporter.
The festival reminded me that a kind and gentle segment of our society exists, seeking each other out in events such as this and practicing yoga, breathing workshops, love and joy – a return to the flower children mentality of the ‘sixties. Nice. Some people mellow enjoying their weed, nobody drunk or unruly. Music, spirituality, dance. People picking up their trash, smiling at each other, healthy food. Nobody with an attitude or concealed guns – a safe environment where you don’t worry about your personal belongings being snatched or street-corner intimidation.
My character will have this side to her. She will be smart as a whip, curious and inquisitive, idealistic, determined but not pushy, fair and straight-up, caring of people and the environment. She’s out to expose the greed of those rich and powerful whose agendas subvert the very essence of our freedoms and the health of our planet.
