LYTE BYTES

In my youth, I saw many copies of Leonardo Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, but couldn't understand why it was famous. However, when I viewed the original painting in Paris I was spellbound. My eyes locked onto Mona Lisa’s haunting eyes and beguiling smile.
Originals are always better than imitations.
Be the best you can be--
Capitalize on who you really are

Each individual is unique. Each person has strengths. Each individual has talents.
What are your strengths? What are your talents?
What is your original-self?

LYTE BYTES

Our world contains choices ranging from sublime to grotesque. It is up to each of us to either complain or count blessings, to take or to give, to be passive or proactive, to focus on negatives or celebrate positives. The reality is:

WE HAVE THE POWER TO CREATE OUR OWN MISERY
                                               AND
WE HAVE THE POWER TO CREATE OUR OWN HAPPINESS

1-2-3 DIET

The 1-2-3 DIET can help you get and stay fit--emotionally and physically.
Too often food acts as a way to repress and/or hide feelings. Rather than eating when hungry, many of us eat to choke down feelings. If depressed, food offers comfort. If lonely, food is company. If angry, we chomp down rage.
Enjoy getting and staying fit with the 1-2-3 DIET.
1.      Before eating anything Drink 2  8-10 oz glasses of Water. The water will fill you up causing you to eat less. It will give you time to get in touch with your feelings rather than merely shoving your feelings down with food. Water is healthy. Remember to drink 2-glasses of water before you eat anything including a piece of candy, an energy bar, or a snack. The only exception is eating a piece of fruit.
2.      Sip the water and Write down your Feelings. For example, I’m hungry, I’m lonely, I’m cold, I’m happy, I miss my friend. Allow your feelings to flow. Overtime you may discover patterns of which feelings trigger your urge to eat.
3.      Eat 3-Meals a day spaced at least 4 hours apart. For example, Breakfast at 8:00 a.m. Lunch at noon and Dinner at 6:00 p.m. Eating 3-meals a day will prevent you from feeling famished. Thus, you’ll tend to eat less. Eat foods you like. Note: Deprivation leads to cravings. Eating what you like leads to satisfaction.
(Before starting the 1-2-3, check with your physician to evaluate if it's healthy for you.)
