Releasing the Dragon Revisions
Hi Everyone,
I hope you’re having a great weekend. I wanted to let you know that I have been working with an editor to correct some of the grammatical errors that have been mentioned in the reviews of the Myths and Legends series. So far, we have completed the edits for Releasing the Dragon. I uploaded the new versions this weekend. The print edition is temporarily unavailable but should be back in print today or tomorrow. The updated version is already available...

More Dirty Talk Please!
Today the 100th review for Releasing the Dragon was posted on Amazon.com and I have to say it made me smile when I saw it. I mean, what indie author wouldn’t be happy to have 100 reviews posted on Amazon only two days after the first anniversary of publication? But then I read the review and I smiled even more. I’ve learned a lot from reviews and they’ve certainly helped motivate me to keep writing, but this one in particular brought back happy memories.
When I first sta...

Myths and Legends Book Three Update
I’ve had a few readers ask when the next book in the Myths and Legends series will come out so I thought I should post an update. I wanted to have it published by the end of January, but I hit about 55,000 and stalled out. Between the holidays and some real life drama I just couldn’t get in the right frame of mind to write Solomon’s story. But now all that is behind me and I’m already up to 72,000 words. I usually shoot for 100,000, but I take whatever the t...

About Mark E. Lein
I am an avid reader. You might say an extremely passionate reader. For as long as I can remember, I read. Whether it was historic America or Europe, Narnia, Middle Earth, or the Four Lands of Shannara, I spent hours of each day of my childhood in the worlds authors had created.
Charles Dickens, Mark Twain, Louisa May Alcott, James Feni...

New Release: A Naughty Christmas Eve!
A couple months back the idea for a new story line popped into my head and while I’ve been trying to remain focused on the Myths and Legends series, the characters from this new story line have been quite distracting. The new story line features Amber Rose, a young brothel owner with more than a few dark secrets, and Eric Stratton, a man who’s about to get his world turned upside down. I’m not sure yet if I’ll have enough ideas to make a series out of thei...
