Welcome to Monday!

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. Mine was spent still struggling with this flu that won't seem to go away. I don't think I've ever been so ill with a flu in my life, but I think I see light at the end of the tunnel.

So, please forgive me for not blogging more this past week. Hopefully, in a few days, things will be back to normal.

Have a great week!

Tuesday Teaser--Tracking Talia

Today's Teaser is from Tracking Talia, a fast-paced, sensual Quickie from Ellora's Cave!
TEASER:

Moving as fast as he could, he stealthily made his way toward a circle of rocks. It was an open area about fifteen feet in diameter that was ringed by high, jagged rocks with only one way in and out.

Back to the rocks, Marshall crept toward the opening. Rifle raised and ready, he listened for any sound. The wind had picked up substantially in the last few minutes making it difficult to hear anything else. Swearing under his breath at his own stupidity, he kept going. He paused as the natural doorway appeared. He could see to the left and it was clear.

Easing his body to the other side, he froze when a person came into view. The rifle was rock steady in his hand, his finger caressing the trigger. Marshall was mildly surprised his hands weren’t shaking. He walked slowly into the circle, his gaze never leaving the other person.

“Aren’t you going to say hello?”

He tilted the barrel of the rifle downward. His heart was pounding. His mouth was dry. Anger, hot and potent, flooded through his veins. Why now? It had been eight long months.

“Hello, Tabby.” He used her nickname intentionally. She usually hated to be called that, but he had whispered it in her ear a hundred times when they made love.

Welcome Kathy Kulig!

I want to welcome author Kathy Kulig to my blog! Be sure to leave a comment as Kathy is giving away an ebook from her backlist. (See full instructions below.)

One Night Stands

You barely know his last name, and he barely knows yours. Maybe you met while traveling on business, through friends, on vacation, at a friend’s wedding or another event, but one thing for sure, the chemistry is there and you want each other BAD! The sex is guaranteed to be hot! Well, maybe, if you communicate well.
The number one reason for having a one night stand? Sex, hot, hot sex!

Chances are you may never see each other after that night, and you understand that, and if you’re smart you’ll accept that reality. There’s a risk of guilt and shame the morning after too. In a small percentage of one night stands, the couple end up in a long term relationship, even marriage, but don’t count on that.

Are there rules or tips for one night stands? Just because the sex is casual, use common sense:

• Don’t have one night sex with a co-worker, a boss, a sibling’s friend, or anyone who’d put you in an awkward situation later.

• Practice safe sex, obviously.

• Don’t discuss personal matters. A data dump of your last break-up/divorce is a big no-no.

• Never let a stranger tie you up, duh.

• Keep the clingy emotions out of it. Remember the number one reason for having a one night stand.

Two adults doing are what they both want, and that isn’t a bad thing as long as you don’t have any expectations the day after.

What are your thoughts on one night stands?

In my new release, SPRING BREAK, release date 4/13 from Ellora’s Cave, http://www.jasminejade.com/p-10007-sp... my hero and heroine have a one night stand that actually turns into a ménage. They know what they’re getting into. They’re adults and accept that this may be a onetime fling. See what happens their morning after.

Here’s the Blurb:

Spring break beyond your wildest fantasies? If Justin Watkins can stop keeping watch over his college students like Big Brother, he might convince the prim-and-proper Mariko Maguire to be his sex partner at the invitation-only adult club called TropiX.

Mariko is in Fort Lauderdale on business, trying to secure new clients for her PR firm. Abandoning prior commitments for one wickedly lustful evening—a one-night stand of kinky sex—was not on her agenda.

Carter Bosworth is looking for an evening of sex games during his layover in the tropical playground. He’s a regular at TropiX and always open for a new thrill. His plans are sidetracked, but it may be to his benefit after all when he meets the beautiful Mariko. The potent heat developing between Justin and Mariko tempts her into shedding her inhibitions, and an exploration in eroticism develops beyond her imagination at the fetish club.

Book of the Week--Tiger by Laurann Dohner

What am I reading?

This week's Book of the Week is TIGER by Laurann Dohner. If you haven't read her New Species series yet then you're in for a treat. You can read this as a stand alone book, but I suggest going back and starting at the beginning. You won't be sorry!

BLURB:

Zandy’s had too much to drink and is in the wrong place at the wrong time. She knows she’s going to die. When next her eyes open, a beautiful man-creature is holding her in his arms. He’s just too tempting to resist; her very own fallen angel. She wraps herself around his body, determined to have him. But when this angel turns out to be flesh and blood, reality crashes in—she’s seducing a New Species.

Tiger’s shock quickly turns to intense passion when the human female kisses him, despite the fact she’s trying to get his clothes off while he’s engaged in a task force operation. He’s also made it clear he’ll never take a mate. Rather difficult when he and Zandy can’t keep their hands off each other. The taste and feel of his little human just leaves Tiger wanting more.
