Top Pick for Mark of the Bear

NIGHT OWL REVIEWS has given MARK OF THE BEAR  5 Stars and a Top Pick!

"The author has created a fascinating world of wonder and excitement, enchanting characters and a interesting and different story line that ensures the reader wants to know the rest of the story. The setting and the curse are awesome elements that add lots of spice and depth to the story. I was totally engrossed in the story from the prologue and couldn’t put the book down until I read the very last word of the epilogue. I can’t wait to read the other characters stories and I even want to know more about Mordecai’s story."

MacNamara's Lady in PRINT

I'm thrilled to announce that MACNAMARA'S LADY is now available in PRINT!

BLURB:

Missy Sinclair knows what she wants out of life—a secure job, a fine home, financial independence and, eventually, a man to share it with. That man will have class and style, share her goals and tastes and like fine wine and classical music. Why then is she so attracted to T.S. MacNamara, who is the complete opposite?

T.S. makes no apologies to anyone for his life. He’s worked hard to make his general contracting business a success. He likes beer and football. He’s not looking for anything permanent. Problem is, he can’t stop wanting Missy.

When he rescues Missy from a violent mugging, the seething physical attraction that’s been shimmering between them for months finally explodes. Classy and rough, dark and light, educated and blue-collar. Opposites attract—at least in the bedroom. But they both have secrets that won’t stay buried…secrets that threaten to drive them apart unless they’re both willing to face their pasts.

Laurie Roma's March Symposium: Set Fire to the Rain

This month Laurie asked her friends and fellow authors to share some lessons they have learned since they’ve been writing. Their remarks are extremely insightful to new writers, as well as authors who have been writing for years. Find out what I and the other authors had to say!

Welcome to Spring!

Today is the spring equinox, which marks the first day of spring. Even though it still looks and feels like winter outside, now there is hope for warmer weather and the first flowers of spring.

Tuesday Teaser: Erin's Fancy

This week the Tuesday Teaser comes from ERIN'S FANCY. I love the girl-next-door friend to lover theme. :)

TEASER:

Abel was the kind of man that other men walked softly around. Built on a massive scale, he was eight inches over six feet and more than two hundred and fifty pounds, all of it solid muscle.
But it was more than just that. It was the look in his eyes that said he had seen it all and done it all, and nothing scared him any more. Abel hated the thought of frightening a woman, but it couldn’t be helped. He needed answers. The one thing he did remember was that he’d locked the door behind him. If nothing else, this woman was guilty of breaking and entering.
He leaned over her, ready to reassure her that he wouldn’t hurt her if she answered his questions. Bracing himself to ignore the fear in her eyes until he got his answers, he opened his mouth to speak and then clamped it shut. She was smiling at him. A soft, sensual smile that had him swallowing hard.
“I’m glad you’re home, Abel.” Her voice was soft and sultry and made his toes curl. He wanted to hear that voice crying out in pleasure in the dark of the night. All the nerve endings in his body were humming in anticipation of that happening. He would have her, of that there was no doubt, but first he had to find out who the hell she was.
“Who are you and how did you get in here?” Her smile disappeared and he was filled with the ridiculous notion that his words had hurt her somehow. His first instinct was to do whatever it took to have her smile at him again.
“I guess you don’t recognize me.” She closed her pretty blue eyes and took a deep breath as if gathering her strength. “It’s me, Erin.”
For a moment the name didn’t register, but the moment it did, he wanted to throw back his head and howl at the injustice of it all. Erin Connors. His best friend’s little sister. He remembered her as a little girl following his every move with her enormous blue eyes. She’d still been a kid when he left home, and over the years, he’d only caught glimpses of her here and there. Jackson might be the closest thing he had to a brother, but what he was feeling towards Erin right now was certainly anything but brotherly. She sure as hell wasn’t a child any longer. Now, she was a woman grown, and what a woman! Tall and curvy, she fit him perfectly.
Dropping his forehead to hers, he pushed his hips towards her unable to help himself. “God, I wish you weren’t.”
