Wolf in her Bed has been Joyfully Reviewed

WOLF IN HER BEDhas received a wonderful review from Jo at Joyfully Reviewed.

"Watching as the entire Salvation pack helped Anny come to terms with her new life had me knowing that Anny and Armand’s life would be full of love and friendship even while the pack war rages on.  Wolf in her Bed takes the horrors of a pack war and the wonder of love and mating, mixes them up, and proves that love will always win that battle." ~Jo

Craig's Heart in PRINT

I'm thrilled to announce that CRAIG'S HEARTis now available in PRINT!

A vampire’s heart is not meant to beat this fast.

Legacy, Book 7

Craig Lawton’s life is full. Filled with normal things like work as a video-game creator and financial investor, and not-so-normal things like two half-werewolf siblings and a vampire best friend.

He’s accustomed to being the only human in the room…until he attempts to help a desperate, newly made vampire in the throes of her first transformation.

Evie Pelowski is a woman alone. Left alone in a filthy alley to become a monster like the one that attacked her, unable to control the bloodlust surging through her veins. Now she’s done the unforgivable—turned her Good Samaritan into a monster just like her.

They must face the future while coming to grips with their new realities. But despite a strong bond ignited by blood and forged in the heat of sexual desire, despite Craig’s unshakeable determination to teach her to trust, Evie knows nothing she loves ever stays. Especially when the vampire who made her wants her back—and he’ll kill anyone who gets in his way.

Warning: The transformative power of love collides with the bite of a vampire to create one heck of a love story. Mix in some smokin’ hot sex, some very nasty bad guys, a disgruntled family and an ancient vampire and you’ll be stretching your neck for a bite.

Two Great Reviews for Heart of the Serpent

I'm thrilled that HEART OF THE SERPENT, the fifth book in the Hades' Carnival series due out on January 13th, has already received two wonderful reviews!

Annetta Sweetko at Fresh Fiction says:

"HEART OF THE SERPENT is the amazing, thrilling addition to the Hades Carnival series!...All the past characters are back and they now realize that though the worst might be over, they must still be prepared for whatever hell sends their way. Can't wait for the next installation of Hades Carnival! HEART OF THE SERPENT is on my TRA shelf as are all Ms. Walters' books with room for more."

Angel at Angel's Addiction Book Blog says:
"AWESOME. FREAKING. BOOK. My heart hurt for Mordecai, he was just so lonely and just didn't feel like he deserved any happiness for himself. Heart wrenching, sweet, action packed and schmexy as all get out. I just can't even recommend this book enough! Seriously people... Please, please, please, check out this series if you haven't already."

2014 Year in Review

2014 was a rollercoaster of a year with great ups and downs. Personally, I saw the end of my 30 year relationship. I also dealt with a foot injury that is still bothering me months later. There was also some serious illness in my immediate family, but I'm happy to say that everything turned out well there.

Professionally, I've also had some ups and downs this year, but I'd much rather focus on the positives. In October, I celebrated the release of my 75th book, as well as my tenth year as a published author. I can hardly believe it's been ten years. I want to thank everyone who has ever purchased one of my books for making my dream of being a working writer come true.

The biggest surprise came at the end of the year. Earlier in 2014 I was invited to be a part of a box set with twenty-four other authors. Taming the Alpha is 25 tales across all genres, all having a hot alpha as the hero. It was released on December 9th and made both the USA Today and the NY Times Best Seller Lists. What a Christmas present! I can now put NY Times & USA Today Bestselling Author after my name. I'm thrilled.

In case you missed any of them, here are my releases for 2014.

'Twas the Night Before Christmas...

Happy December 24th! A Visit from St. Nicholasby Clement Clarke Moore 'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there; The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads;
And mamma in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled down for a long winter's nap,

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below, When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer,  With a little old driver, so lively and quick, I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick. More rapid than eagles his coursers they came, And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;  "Now, Dasher! Now, Dancer! Now, Prancer and Vixen! On, Comet! On Cupid! On, Donder and Blitzen! To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall! Now dash away! dash away! dash away all!"  As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly, When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky, So up to the house-top the coursers they flew, With the sleigh full of toys, and St. Nicholas too.  And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof The prancing and pawing of each little hoof. As I drew in my hand, and was turning around, Down the chimney St. Nicholas came with a bound.  He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot, And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot; A bundle of toys he had flung on his back, And he looked like a peddler just opening his pack.  His eyes -- how they twinkled! his dimples how merry! His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry! His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow, And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow;  The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth, And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath; He had a broad face and a little round belly, That shook, when he laughed like a bowlful of jelly.  He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf, And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself; A wink of his eye and a twist of his head, Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread;  He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work, And filled all the stockings; then turned with a jerk, And laying his finger aside of his nose, And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose;  He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle, And away they all flew like the down of a thistle. But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight, "Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night."
