Michele was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee and at a young age, developed a love for reading and writing poetry, and also wrote for her school newspapers from elementary through The University Echo at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. After years of volunteer work and raising her family, she published her first novel, Rose, On Her Own, in March 2013. Then, in December 2013, she published a sequel to Rose, What Storms May Come, and Under the Umbrella in March 2015.
