Jim is next!
While writing Zenith's Legacy there was this secondary character I needed to have in order to move the storyline in the direction I wanted it. Not overly concerned with this character I stuck the name "Jim" to him, and then moved on writing the book.
At the time I started the book, Jim was not an important character to me. I normally give names to secondary characters I would most likely never use as a main character. Jim being one of those names.
But then I wrote the story and Pastor Jim Zavarian started to take shape.
By the end of it, he had half stolen my heart. Even I wanted to read about him, and I had created him! So I knew he was my next story.
Which is ironic as I've had many readers of Zenith's Legacy comment on Jim catching their attention.
He caught mine so much I wrote a book about him!
He wrote the story. I swear I was only typing it. He kind of broke my heart with his history and how he came to be here. It's both fascinating and I think he honestly might be one of my most unusual characters.
But what set this book on fire was the chemistry between him and Kayla. Seriously you won't want to miss this one! I'm so proud of it and excited to share it with you.

Zenith's Legacy: Releasing September 9th

The last two months I've been working on editing my next 4 releases. These releases start on September 9th.
I'm so excited (like a giddy kid!) with how the series turned out. I had the idea FOR YEARS to add onto this series. I anticipated what to write and had high expectations. I actually stressed if I could meet them and avoided writing the stories until Covid hit. When half hibernated, I finally went for it and wrote them all!
But... I loved the edgier, city-to-country life and having super rich and famous characters (which isn't usually my thing!) in this series and that's why I wanted to continue it.
I'd imagined out the effects these more extreme lifestyles would have on ordinary family life. I always wanted to explore what these type of kids might turn out like.
And these books tell those stories!
That is also why if you haven't read the first 3 books it isn't necessary to totally enjoy the next 4!
I'm thrilled with how unique, different from each other, and interesting each one turned out.
I can't wait for you to read them ALL.
But to start with is the first one, Zenith's Legacy.
The start to the second part of this series is Kathy's story as she tries to ignore the trapping of fame and then ends up in a pretty steamy, and surprising, battle of wills with her new bodyguard.
Oh yes, it's a trope, but a delicious one! With a few twists on it. :)

September 9th Release
Zenith is next! Not what I planned on at all, but with quarantined and homeschooling, I escaped into this series and created 4 new full lengths stories that I am so excited to share with you!
I recovered the first three books that were originally The Zenith Trilogy. So you might have read those, if not then this is the perfect time to get into this series!
Zenith?
What the heck is that?
It's not the most usual name for a romance series!
Right?! It's more of a dystopian name and kind of puzzling... so here it is... it's my made up rock band.
In the very start of the series the band members have let addiction destroy the bit of success they found.
Zenith is the backdrop of the series and what connects many of the characters. "Zenith" is almost another character in the books.
So while Rob and Spencer are the band members who get their own stories, the rest of the characters in the series are all connected or interested or related to Zenith in some way.
In my newest additions, Zenith is a worldwide success and this has created new and unique trials and triumphs, for those now connected to the band.
Who are they about???!!
The new books pick up twelve years later, with Rob and Rebecca's three daughters (From Zenith Fulfilled).
Zenith's Legacy--Kathy's story (middle daughter)
Zenith in Love--Kayla's story (oldest)
Zenith's Legend--Karlee's story (youngest)-Cover to come.
Zenith's Promise--Jody Lassiter (Nick & Joelle's daughter from Zenith Falling) -Cover to come.
I had so much fun writing these four stories and if you've read any of my series I think you'll LOVE them too.
Think of new, edgy, interesting characters with pages full of intrigue, suspense, secrets and betrayal. But all infused with hot, surprising new connections and relationships... some were even a surprise to me!
If you read my River's End series this is much like that in that the characters are all connected with their stories, and it's multi-generational. There will also be more to come beyond the now 7 that I have done!
So here is the next one:

Blurb:
Being the daughter of a rock star kind of sucks.
Kathy Randall has worked very hard to keep her stepdad’s rock band, Zenith and the clinging fans out of her daily existence. She finally has her life exactly on track and how she wants it; she works in music on her own terms and is engaged to the pastor of the church she works at.
When Eric James took the security job for Rob Williams, the lead singer of his favorite band, Zenith, Eric hoped to become Rob’s bodyguard. But unfortunately, his assignment is to guard Rob’s stepdaughter. The shy, quiet, awkward, middle daughter, who works in a church, and whom he met under the strangest circumstances.
Eric both infuriates and intrigues her. Their relationship allows her to be uncharacteristically argumentative, opinionated, and surprising to Kathy, honest. But before she can figure out what it is happening between them, the legacy that only Zenith could bring into their lives shatters them in a way nobody predicted, except maybe, the one person it almost destroys…
More River's End Books!

I've gotten a bunch of messages about the end of River's End.
There is no end!
I know the bonus material released this year is an "end" for Jack and Erin but that's why it's THEIR extended epilogue.
It is not supposed to be the end for the series.
There will be MANY more additions coming.
I plan to add to it indefinitely.
So keep watch for books about, Daisy, Lillian, Jade, Melanie, Silas, Asher, Ian & Kailynn's son, Josefina & Caleb's kids, Cami & Charlie's twins... and others that you've yet to meet!
So please keep check. I'll probably add several each year.
In fact, July is when I'm starting the next one, Book #14, Lillian Rydell's story.
Anyway, I thought I'd make a note of this because of all the messages!

Next Release

What is more authorish than to start my 2020 new blog with a post about my next release? Sigh. Yes, I'm totally uncreative in this. But... it's the easiest place to start! I assume it's what most people are visiting this website/blog for... my books. Hopefully, out of liking (or loving!) one or more of them. Otherwise... I can't picture what would be interesting for a person to be reading this or browsing my website!
Coming in just over a month, book #13 of the River's End Series, and tells the story of Shane and Allison Rydell's third born daughter, Violet. She lost her fiance in a tragic accident and two years later, the grief follows her. To escape the facing the anniversary of his death she has taken to spending the summers up in the mountains where her family has a camp that she can get to with her horses.
For the most part, she is alone the entire time she is up there. So when she enters her camp one day to find a man standing there... the first thing she does is grab at the gun on her hip.
Gage Sullivan works for the Forrest Service and in order to escape a summer alone in his house as his thirteen year old daughter is spending August with her grandparents, he finagles a chance to do some trail work. He's camping in some remote mountains and fixing the trail and finds a woman seeming to all but live up there alone.
Sparks fly before she trusts him but once she starts to warm up with him... she won't tell him her name. Natural enough he believes at first. Protecting herself from a stranger and all that. But as their friendship develops for there is no one but each other to hang out with (!) she still refuses to tell him any identifying information about herself.
Which leads to all kinds of issues, like how is he going to find her once they finally leave the mountains?
But Violet won't risk her heart again. She isn't ready for a relationship or even the hint that her heart could get tangled with another. So she's resolute they won't see each other again. They are done. Forever.
Except... Gage knows who she is...
This story takes a deep dive into grief resolution and how it affects a person and their decisions. There is no grand moment or answer for Violet... even Gage's love for her doesn't "cure" the hurts that have changed her heart and core.
But keep reading to find out... :)
This book also dives into Gage being a single father with a teenage daughter, Andy and she reacts to his new found desire to be in a relationship... I really love Andy! She adds some lightness, funny zingers and fun to the story. And Gage as a father? Will melt your heart!
Okay, that's my sales pitch for my next book! But I LOVE this series and the next addition is no different...
