update

Hi everyone. I have spent the last few days mulling over the pros and cons of making book three into two books, and with the help of my editor, David, I've finally come to a decision.
I have just decided to finish book three of my own saga at approx 106K words, and leave the rest for a fourth book, as otherwise it would be just too big a book at well over 200K words. The book is finishing in a suitable spot and I am sure the readers will be happy with the storyline, even though its slightly smaller than the previous two books. It ends with three great final scenes and I hope people will undertsand that it is the most logical choice. It will also mean that the wait for the next part in the overall storyline will be sooner rather than later, perhaps before the summer is over, if I can get the final bits done and get the proofreading and editing completed in time. I had always wondered whether I could fit it all into one book or whether it would need two more books to do the story justice. If I didn't stop at this point, I would probably feel compelled to cut the second half of this particular storyline short and that wouldn't do the overall Saga justice.
So I now need to decide whether to make The Black Knight of Crom Cruach into The Black Knight of Crom Cruach (Part one, and Part two,) or whether to have a completely different name for book four. But that's another days work. I will focus on making Book Three an awesom read and leave that decision until after that has been completed.

Regards and thank you all again for your feedback.

100k words written

I've finally done over 100k words of book three of the Storm-Bringer Saga: The Black Knights of Crom Cruach. Normally, that's a book in itself, but in term of Epic Fantasy I'm probably halfway through the storyline. There is still so much to cover before the current story is complete. Still, it's a good marker to set down. I'm a little behind schedule as I'd hoped to have the book completed by summer 2014, but the time was taken up by polishing the first two books up and getting them out on paperback, so I can live with that.

Bang (Memoirs of a Relationship Assassin)

5 stars

A good book is one that you make time for, even though you have a busy schedule. This is one such book. This book is a very insightful look into the human psyche, and if I was Mr Wailing’s significant other, I’d be worried after reading this book. He knows way too much!
Seriously though, this is well worth a read. The main character is like one of those chocolates, all tough on the exterior but to your surprise, deep inside, there is a soft centre. The relationship assassin is one of those chocolates. Despite the tense thrill of his life, there is a secret love story lurking in the shadows and if you look with your peripheral vision, you might just be able to see it.
The Author’s other works regularly touch the subject of identity and this book is no exception. It reminded me of an old saying about masks. In the West and in modern times, masks are worn to hide behind, whereas in ancient times masks served a different purpose. They were there to reveal your inner self. They allowed you to show a part of you that was not normally allowed out. The relationship assassin wears many masks. I’ll let you decide which version they represent.
