Brilliant

Hunted: Flick Carter #2by Tim Arnot

Hunted is the brilliant second novel in the Flick Carter series. After the traumatic events that concluded the first novel: Wanted, Flick is struggling to come to grips with her life, weighed down by guilt. Finding peace in the bottom of a bottle, Flick causes ructions in her home town. It isn’t long before things come to a head, and friendships become strained.
Clinging to her only ray of hope, Flick finds herself searching for clues to the whereabouts of her missing family. Ill equipped to find them, she seeks help from the Kingsmen.
On her journey, she crosses paths with a dark stranger, and soon, the mysterious man turns up like a ghost wherever flick goes.
Not for the first time, Flick finds herself dragged by forces beyond her control and sucked into another adventure.
This is a gripping tale and an excellent follow up story to the fabulous Wanted. The pace is gripping and the characters strong. My only complaint is that it ended too soon, and I was left wanting more (always the sign of a good book). I can’t wait for book three!
