I am a strong believer that people deserve...
I am a strong believer that people deserve second and sometimes third chances BUT there comes a time when enough is enough. So many people get caught up in what they want that what they need is easily forgotten. There are a lot of folks who will settle for half ass “love” just to say they have “something.” There have been times when I know good and well someone/something isn’t for me but yet I’d pursue them/it anyway. It’s unfair to yourself to keep trying to justify why you’re holding on to toxicity.There are lessons in letting go and moving on. Many of us backtrack because we are afraid of what’s ahead. You are worth all things good, great and emotionally healthy, keep that in mind.

But sometimes
it’s 9am on a tuesday morning
and you’re standing at the kitchen bench waiting for the toast to pop up
And the smell of dusty sunlight and earl gray tea makes you miss him so much
you don’t know what to do with your hands.”
