Tourist Destinations for Time Travelers - Prelude

"Tourist Destinations for Time Travelers" is the working title. Many of you have asked. It's been nearly a year since the second draft. 2020 was a lot of things, but never unproductive. By the fall of 2021, my goal is to have a next and final draft and possibly a release.

This is a departure from my other works. An avid fan of Science Fiction, I thought that this might be a fun book to write. Instead, all the years of memorizing books and movies in this space, I find my inner critic louder, screa...

Combustible Punch is hitting Audible for download

You can imagine that going from traveling 52 weeks in 2019, to a full stop in March for 2020 has put a slight change in my habits.

Posting more blogs, writing more stories, and deep self-reflection were not three things I've been doing since the recent drawings for my books through the Goodreads Giveaways.

My writing for pleasure has been something I've avoided. Like you, there are building concerns and higher levels of anxiety.

So why not find an escape?

How do you escape this level of crazy?

A...

Thank you gift for following me this year

In celebration of a great year, I wanted to give you, my loyal readers a thank you gift. In parting with the year 2019, when I will have flown more miles, traveled to more countries, and released my best-received novel, I would like to thank you.

Recently, I was able to give away the remaining Audible credits from my past works, but I didn't have enough for everyone. Something I can offer to you and everyone is a free digital download on the work produced earlier this year, The Complete...

Audible Promotional Credits

This year several of my written works were transformed into audio. They are available on Audible.com.

For each title, Audible provided promotional codes. I used these to encourage readership and early reviews, just like I do for print with my Advanced Reader Copies (ARC's.)

I have remaining codes that are about to expire and may not have been used. I say "may not" because tracking these in a spreadsheet a year ago leaves many doubts on the accuracy.

If you love Audible books and would like to h...

CBS 60 Minutes - Samual Little is a serial killer

CBS 60 Minutes - Samual Little is a serial killer

Samual Little is a serial killer. He spent his life moving from state to state, avoiding prosecution and killing easy prey. He is serving three consecutive life terms in California, but not for murder. Instead, he was labeled a sexual predator. It took one man, a Texas Ranger, to ask the right questions. The answer he found was the admission from Little to a trail of killings he remembers in photographic detail.

The video and full report are he...

On September 7, 2019, Playground Productions Studio in Indianapolis hosted the first “Stories and Soundtracks” session. The event brought together the talents of authors Kaylin R. Boyd, Ramana Bereneth, and Paul Michael Peters to read stories supported by musical stylings of Adam Riviere and Surreal Planet.

Please enjoy this recording from that evening. Author Paul Michael Peters reads from the first three chapters of Combustible Punch.

Kirkus Review of Combustible Punch - "An enthralling and unnerving probe into the complex mind of a murderer."

KIRKUS REVIEWIn this thriller, a desperate author agrees to write the story of an enigmatic, self-professed serial killer.Rick Philips’ days of being a famous author may be behind him. It’s been more than a decade since he released the bestselling Shelter in Place, in which he recounts his experience as the sole survivor of a high school shooting. He now teaches writing at Dupont University. But the college’s dean implies that, if Rick doesn’t soon produce something substantial, he’ll lose hi...
