Today’s #tbt is to that time I got attacked by a giant grizzly bear in a museum of natural history. This is the last known photo taken of me.

One of my street art stencils makes a pretty good daily reminder for me. There is so much more to this life than the routines we force ourselves to believe in. It is time to wake up. It is time to live the life that we will love living. It is time to take that first step, no matter how terrifying it might be.

All credit for the “Sleepwalking Boy” goes to John Lang and where I found it too the Sigur Rós album :)

Sticking with the “12 days of Christmas” theme,...

Sticking with the “12 days of Christmas” theme, today I have another really awesome collaboration to share with you. The amazing women behind @wearetribeofdreamers and I got together and they created this beautiful bracelet. What you cannot see, is that on the inside, is engraved a poem I wrote specifically for them. It says:

“Wade through the fire and jump the fences, for the light we create is so much bigger than the darkness we’ve come through. Let the clothes burn and rip on the wire, nothing will stop us. Nothing.”

These little beauties are for sale on their website shop at tribeofdreamers.co Or by clicking the link in their bio. Great women doing great things, and, they also work with one of my favorite charities, @two_wings !

They tell us we have a choice. We can see the bright lights,...

They tell us we have a choice. We can see the bright lights, warm and proud, shining through the night that encroaches, Or we can see the dark forest, the shadows that grow and hide darker things. They tell us we can choose, that what we see is who we are. Tell me then why I always see both, why I always love them both the same? What is one without the other, what is light without the night? What is joy without the sorrow?
