A year is closing and another long voyage around a growing sun will begin. No resolutions live on the tip of the tongue, and no grand wishes for the year to come. All I want is to be content, to have what I need and love what I have. All I will do, is give more than before, and I will spend so much more time staring up at the stars, in awe of those that are still burning, and in appreciation of the ones that finally stopped.

In case you missed actually being there, here is the video of my Live Q&A from the New York City Barnes & Noble event from November.  Hopefully I don’t look and sound too silly, but nevertheless, here are some answers to questions you may have had along the way, actually answered by me :)

Thank you to the uploader, it’s rad how people do stuff like this.  Means a lot to me.

Me and my little namesake nephew, Moyer Knott Donovan. I love the look he is giving me while I am wearing my dad’s hat, and my mom’s mittens. I miss this little bugger, and I miss the way he says my name.

Happy Happy 9th Birthday to my beautiful Hobbes. She gets really uncomfortable when I sing to her, probably 50% my voice, and 50% because she is like me when people sing to her. Nevertheless, she turned nine years old today, and it feels like just a breath ago that I was carrying her in my arms on our first day together. I love you Hobbes. Happy Birthday.
