For years and years and years I did the “Daily Haiku on Love.”...
For years and years and years I did the “Daily Haiku on Love.” Now, I am turning a page, and renaming, revisiting the idea. I am now calling it the Daily Haiku on LIFE to be more about ALL that life has to offer. Sometimes love, sometimes adventure, sometimes the tiny minutiae of a day in my life. I hope you like it.

These are shadow months,
there is no doubt,
a darkness slow and crawling
across the landscape
of this place.
Some are squinting,
eyes Eastward
in the dawn hours,
Westerly when they think
evening has come,
some swear they spotted
sunlight
in all that shade.
Stand with me,
wrapped up in night
and fall in love
with the softness.
Light will come,
but for now, let us find
answers
in the dark.
