We always miss the leaves most right after they go. Time passes...
We always miss the leaves most right after they go. Time passes and we fall in love with the bony fingers the trees left behind, then, as if by magic, the leaves return. Do not forget this as we mourn the passing of what was, all that’s to be is on its way.

Of all the aspects of my home renovation, one sticks out bold...
Of all the aspects of my home renovation, one sticks out bold and true as the thing I am most excited for. This is the official approved plan for the indoor slide that will go from my closet down to the main floor, into the workout/rec room. It’s the way I will start every single morning, getting dressed, then sliding downstairs. Our attitude upon waking dictates the day we will have, and I figure there’s no possible way to be in a bad mood when you begin each morning with a little old fashioned fun.
Never ever ever grow up. It’s an option, and it’s a trap. Always. Fight hard to maintain your wonder.
