There are days that feel like fog, clouded and veiled and filled...
There are days that feel like fog, clouded and veiled and filled with mystery as to what they hold, and where. Then there are days that are so sunlight soaked that they illuminate everything, and more importantly everyone. They show, shadowless and clear, the landscape around you, where home is, and where it so clearly isn’t. Thank you for the sunshine yesterday, thank you for what it showed me, who it showed me, and for peeling back the shadows, if only for a day.

14 people murdered and 17 people injured yesterday and I wake up...
14 people murdered and 17 people injured yesterday and I wake up to this. This is what’s wrong with our country. This. I am tired of this country’s unwillingness to make a change. I am tired of waking to news about more mass shootings. I am tired of entertaining arguments about guns, I am tired. Insanity is repeating the same actions over and over and expecting different results, and we are, as a Nation, officially insane now. Heartbreaking and ridiculous and my thoughts are with the victims and families in San Bernadino and Georgia, and everywhere else guns are ending lives prematurely. I am tired.
