Two years almost that ring has sat on her finger, two years she’s felt the weight of it. Soon it will be joined by another ring, and she’ll carry that weight for the rest of this life. @loveverite made them both, and they are so much more than metal and stone, they are stories and they are moments and they are the heft of a promise, of a wait worth enduring. Two years, nearly, and I cannot wait to put the second one on.

Relief,
is finding a word
that defines something
you never knew needed
defining.
Monachopsis,
I read this morning,
while sipping tea alone
and looking out over
a city I often forget
to wander into.
That feeling of never
quite fitting in, of being just
a bit out of place.
All my life I’ve felt this,
and reading the definition
I felt for a moment, a little more
understood.
