Kyle Reynolds shares his bittersweet experience about what happens when a dog adoption just doesn’t work out on Medium.

@MegDonohue Goes DOG CRAZY for @GratefulDogsSF
Best-selling USA Today author, Meg Donohue, has a new novel out this week called Dog Crazy, which I’m sure any dog lover will be absolutely nuts about!
And even better, she’s holding a book launch party at Books Inc. to benefit San Francisco-based Grateful Dogs Rescue tomorrow night on March 12. However, if you can’t make it to the event in person, you can always take a trip to Amazon to get your next dog book fix on! (Books Inc.)

Dr. Seuss Needs Your Help: #Dogs or #Cats?
A few weeks ago, the literary world discovered some unpublished works from the former home of longtime cat fan, Dr. Seuss. Whether or not the treasure trove was buried in the pantry underneath the stockpile of green eggs and ham, we’ll never know — but on July 28, the first title, What Pet Should I Get? — will be released for all of us animal lovers to adore! Hello Love #Dogs book for #ValentinesDay on #Kindle
True romantics say it’s better to be alone than be with the wrong person. But what’s even better than being happily alone? Life with a lovable dog, of course!
However, if you can’t have a dog on this Valentine’s Day (due to rental/housing restrictions or whatnot), why not settle down with a good ol’ heartwarming dog book like Hello Love by bestselling author, Karen McQuestion? Because it’s not just time that heals all wounds — it’s the love of a dog, too, of course! (Bubble Bath Books)

Budweiser #Dogs Commercial Wins Super Bowl…Again!
The New England Patriots weren’t the only big winners at this past Sunday’s Super Bowl XLIX — but it appears that Budweiser’s “Lost Dog” commercial scored the title of most popular on USA Today‘s Ad Meter rankings (Bud also won last year’s Super Bowl with their “Lost Puppy” ad). So, just in case you’re not a football fan or weren’t anywhere near a TV this weekend, here’s the replay…

Bill Simmons & Peter King Bet on the #Dogs #tbt #SuperBowl
As America gets ready for Super Bowl Sunday — I thought I’d toss up a couple throwback dog tributes written by two of the country’s most popular sportswriters, ESPN’s Bill Simmons (aka The Sports Guy) and Peter King (Sports Illustrated).
Here’s to “Bailey” and “The Dooze” — and, no, it’s not a buddy cop show. FYI: You’ll have to scroll down about halfway through the article to read King’s piece titled “Requiem for A Dog”.
