My real name's Zachary Appleton however the majority of friends call me 'Apples' therefore I decided to choose the online pseudonym of 'Apple Zach'.
I was born in and currently reside in a City called 'Kingston Upon Hull' which is situated on the North East coast of England in the beautiful County of Yorkshire. It is widely thought that JRR Tolkien based 'The Shire' on this region for all you fellow LoTR fans.
I keep very odd hours for someone living in the UK. This is because I prefer the magic of night and have also worked nights on and off for the past 10 years. I work as a Security Officer, Author, Sport Analyst and private tutor at the moment.

I've been so busy with both my writing and wedding. It's been a hectic year!

I have around half a dozen short stories floating around. Only a couple of which are in the public domain. As previously mentioned, I've had so much take me away from my writing just lately. I found out I'm not someone who can force my work. I don't know about yourself but I write because I enjoy where my imagination takes me first and foremost.

I wanted to dip my toe into the Sci-Fi market and made a lot of progress on one of my works in progress, although I'm actually concentrating on writing a children and 'young adult' novel at the moment. I should have some free time over the Winter and plan to get my head down and complete this before the end of February with a possible launch in time for Easter. (less)
