It takes a few seconds for me to realize what he said, but when I do, I open my eyes only to see him walking to his room.

‘Goo-’ My voice cracks, so I clear my throat. ‘Goodnight,’ I call.

I hear him chuckle softly before his bedroom door closes behind him.

I throw myself back on the sofa, frustrated.

‘No. Definitely not. We’ll still argue, I mean, it’s us. I don’t think it’s possible for us to go too long without clashing over something, but at least this way it will be better. I won’t mind it so much.’

Rubbing my temples, I close my eyes and ask a question I know I’ll regret. ‘How will it be better?’

‘Make-up sex.’

‘I don’t understand why men call it ‘make-up’ sex. It’s not. It should be called, ‘We-argued-then-we-had-sex-now-I’m-pissed-again-because-you-managed-to-get-me-naked-and-yeah-you’re-still-an-asshole’ sex.’

‘It’s a bit of a mouthful, but as long as we have sex in there somewhere, we can call it that if you like.’ He agrees easily.

He can be such a baby sometimes. ‘I promise to take care of you if you get sick,’ I offer with a grin.

‘No. Why do you want me to try it so bad?’

‘I want to see what happens,’ I laugh at his stunned expression.

AARRGGGHH!!

Today I spent the whole day on this website.

 

I’ve moved things around and added a lot of pages/content.

As you can see, if you hover ‘Books,’ in the menu bar, a sub menu will come up and for every book I have posted either a chapter and some teasers or a chapter and a longer excerpt.

Honestly, I have no idea how it took me so long to do so little, but I have had a lot of distractions to deal with, like going to my parents, bugging them for about ten minutes, (that’s how long it takes for them to kick me out. They start trying as soon as I walk through the door,) but I did score some of my mums bread pudding, which is the best!

I also had to put up with a bunch of visitors and make them all tea/coffee/ food ect.

And I have a cat stuck to my lap.

But we got there in the end. I think.

Silence is broken.

Okay.

Radio silence is over.

First of all, sorry about the complete lack of communication. I am a terrible person … kind of.

My life’s been kind of hectic lately, every time I think it’s going to be smooth sailing from here on out, I get hit with something else, add that to trying to move house and well, that’s me in over my head.

The bad news is, I still haven’t found any place to move to, so that won’t be happening yet, looks like I might be stuck here for Christmas after all.

The good news is, even though I’ve been silent on the communications front, I’ve gotten a lot of writing done.

In other news, ‘The First Time – Part One’ Is no longer available to buy because the book is finished and being edited as a whole. So in a few weeks, it’ll be available when that’s done.

But for now … here’s something else that a lot of you asked for.

The First Time Part One

I’ve decided to split ‘The First Time’ into three separate parts. Each part will be a novella, each part will follow the three stages of Ryan & Emily’s relationship.

It’s not an easy journey, for them, or you the reader but it’ll definitely be worth it.
