Short or long stories

Hi again,
To fill the gap till 'Sex Crazy Latex' is published in August I thought it would be interesting to look at how the Kindle and perhaps Twitter might have changed reading habits when it comes to erotica. It seems that the comute to work from what I read is producing a scythe of secret erotica readers. What I wonder is if this is generating a market for 20 page ebooks instead of longer stories. Twitter wise it seems that short compact messages are replacing longer texts and of course traditional letters. Is this also changing people's reading habits I wonder?
I'm frequently amazed when I see single short stories selling at around $2.00 riding high in Amazons best sellers rankings. I cannot understand why anyone would pay so much for so little and yet they obviously do when they could buy a much longer book for the same money or less, so returning to my commuter point is this tied in with journey length or is it just that people have got used to reading composite messages and therefore its all they are looking for?
I must admit that I too read books in two or three chapters per night, but conversely I do prefer to read a whole full length story or as is quite common now with erotica lots of conjoined mini-stories that link together as a whole.
Of course all books are already segmented into chapters so this kind of fits into that way of reading anyhow.
For my own books I like to write different stories that are interconnected with a common link to make a whole, except in a few of my more story orientated books though even these are conjoined mini tales tailored into an ongoing story. That may be as in the forthcoming 'Sex Crazy Latex' book where the characters are linked by knowing each other, although each episode is a seperate story or in the case of a later book due for release, 'Sex Crazy Female Cops,' Where the same two characters get into various sexy situations so the whole book becomes a selection of amusing anecdotes about the main characters escapades.
So if anyone has any thoughts on the length of erotica books that they like to read I'd love to hear from you

July new release

Hi again all,
Firstly, those of you who purchased 'The Milf Club' can now update the text as I posted a new updated version on Amazon.

I decided to publish both books because I have a backlog of new books and needed to clear the decks a little so to speak.

Breaking my rules.

Well, My book 'Sex Crazy Milfs is slowly creeping up the uk chart to new heady heights, no its not a best seller but its going in the right direction with regular sales both sides of the pond.. So although I have three other books completed for release I'm actually rushing out my new Milf book in the next week or so. Its called 'The Milf Club,' and is set on an exclusive estate in the USA where four hot single mothers have formed thenselves into an exclusive group in persuit of men. Its still in the 'finish writing' stage but I'm going flat out to get it ready for my cover designer.
Its also quite likely that I will release My 'Interacial sex stories book' in July too, this primarily features a mixture of stories where well-endowed black guys give eager white women the benefit of their awesome talents. more about that soon.

Try me i might be what youre looking for!

Thats a line I once saw on a dating site I thought it might apply to some of my books.
Whilst 'Sex Crazy Milfs,' is buzzing sales-wise I really wanted to talk to those of you that cant seem to get beyond 'power crazy millionares that like to subject women to degrading acts, cowboys that must smell like the horses they ride by the end of the day and werewolves, (what is that all about)
Ok I'm being a bit tongue in cheek but many of you do seem to read romantic erotica to the exclusion of all else, so why not try something a little different then?
I have written four books that wlll take you into new erotic area's, sexy yes but origional too.
My two vampire books are not filled with blood and gore, real action yes and hot sex too. The first is a road trip book the second a mix of comedy and action featuring two vastly different women. Mute Charlene with her miniture android companion Sparkle who can read her mind and Serenity, all action operative for The Transylvania Corporation whose sexual tastes are a little more violent as befits her occupation.
Sultry valley, the idea came from the Russ Meyer Ultra-vixen movies of the fifties, a town of sex crazy women and a new unsuspecting male arrival. This is a story about middle-aged womens feelings and desires and how they stop at nothing to get sexual satisfaction.
'Charlie, Revenge and Redemption,' is my newest book, its very different, no sex for the first two chapters, lol, though there's plenty later on. A strong story-line about a wronged young woman who escapes a life as a sex slave and finds her self-respect again as well as wreaking her revenge ultimnately on the man who put her into such a cruel life.
Take a look please, see if you too can see something you might have been missing, you may be pleasantly surprised at what you find.

TV and Books

So instead of talking of books lets talk about those tv series that really turn us on.
Where to start. the 'Borgia's',has to be pretty high on the list, sexy, glamourous, riddled with plots and beautiful people, oh and some creepy horror too. Cant beat a mix like that to get the mind going.
So how about 'Banshee,' the hottest sex scenes on TV, every time that dress comes off that girl to reveal her naked body beneath, dont it just send your pulse racing guys, all that naked rolling around too, phew great stuff.
For uk watchers of MTV, 'Geordie Shore' and 'The Valleys,' do kids really carry on like that, the only complaint I have is that they dont show more flesh, whats with all this three second glimpses. I get pissed off when I have to rewind and pause to see it all clearly. lol.
Well, I do have some book news, I'm partway through a new book, my second 'Milf one.' Its not a sequel, its about a group of single mums on a small exclusive estate who form their own little group, when a new single hunky guy moves in during a snow storm, its a surety that that the action will get steamy as the women share him between them. Well what else is there to do when youre snow bound for a week. lol. This book is not going to be out for a while, the next one will be 'Sex Crazy Interacial Stories,' due out next month. more on that soon people.

It will pay you to do your searches on the Amazon.com site initially because all books on this site carry the 'look inside' feature which allows you to read around 10% of a book and to download a sample. If you navigate to the Author page you will find a blog update directly from my 'Goodreads' page and a useful subscription link above it that allows you to get an email from Amazon when I release a new title each month, this works no matter where you are and will save you checking back all the time.

To those of you that have purchased, 'Charlie: Revenge and Redmption,' already, my thanks I hope your finding it an entertaining read.
The eagle eyed among you may have noticed that I am changing the 'Sultry Valley' cover, I'm afraid that a sexy woman on the cover equals sales so it had to be done, lol.
Finally, why dont I do Free promotions?
Well it takes around 3 to 4 weeks for me to write a story, then it goes to my cover designer to develop my idea's on the cover and to format the text, in order to cover those costs I need to sell around 60 books before breaking even.
So having done all that what is the value of a free promotion on Amazon? Most authors disagree on the idea, some seem to get off when their free books get into the top 100, but those gains are short lived when the promotion finishes. Some eighty per cent of freebies are never read whereas a paid for book will always be read and thats according to a poll on GR. I prefer that my books are read and enjoyed by my readers as is evidenced by my sales figures. I hope youve found this little insight interesting.

First sale in Canada.

Well at last after five months I finally sold a copy of a book in Canada, yes the country that doesn't allow a look inside. The book,' Sex Crazy Milfs' is by far my best seller along with 'Sex Crazy short story collection." The sad bit, it'll probably take me another year to sell enough there to get paid but never mind, I'm happy to break new ground.
'Charlie Revenge and Redemption.' is with my cover designer and should go to Amazon for publishing over this weekend, June 15-16. thats always a fingers crossed moment.
Its a a very different story from my usual ones and I'll add a synopsis when I am able to put the book into my collection on Goodreads. Oh and the excerpts from three of my books are finally readable on GR so take a look, though the 'look inside' on amazon will give you a better idea of the kind of hot sexy books I write.
There are new titles that are ready and due to be relesed over the coming months. 'Sex crazy Latex,' 'Sex Crazy Interacial short stories' and 'Sex Crazy Female Cops,Minolski and Frenton.'

On how I wrote my vampie books.

As my next book isn’t released until mid-june I thought it might be interesting to talk about my first Vampire book, ‘Vampires Sex and Lovers’ and how I wrote it.
Now some writers plan out their books from beginning to end, they know what’s going into each chapter and how its going to end. Not me. I just had an idea, Vamp books seemed popular so I should write one.
Well first off I didn’t want bloodthirsty, I wanted a good story, lots of sex and with that in mind I thought, ‘why not put it in a future where vampires are accepted by most people into society, and where they run huge sexual entertainment complexes that cater to the ordinary person.’
So I came up with a first chapter, The main male lead has a discount card to a Transylvania Pleasure Palace. He’s been given it by a friend to use while on vacation from his work on Mars. He sits outside, shall I, shan’t I? One of the women comes out, takes a shine to him and things go from there and he stays the night. That was all I had, no story, no ending but then for the second chapter I introduce a new lover from the complex and enlarge on his experience. I still have no idea where the stories going but then I think, lets give him a mission to escort someone to the complex in Savannah, a secret to be carried and delivered and so the idea of a dangerous road trip book was born.
Well as soon as they leave things go wrong, their aero-copter mysteriously crashes leaving them stranded. From now on they have to travel by any means across the country, meeting other vampires on occasion as the story twists and turns with danger always imminent.
I still have no idea in my head of the secret but something is developing, a completely unexpected twist, so I now have my ending. So this is how I write, a of voyage of discovery that is in fact akin to the readers experience, throw in some humorous episodes, some drama, and lots of sex and there’s the story.
Oh your wondering why vampires then? Well for one there are always enemies especially in places like Alabama, that was an easy choice. So now you say but no blood, no. These needs have been met by science, but the bite has changed.
You’ll remember those scenes when the vampire gets a thrill at the moment they draw blood, well suppose instead that thrill is a sexual one, a moment when all sensual feeling is magnified two or three fold, and the bitten person receives a pinprick bite that injects the same venom into them so their feelings too are magnified. Now sex is the drive for a vampire to strike, it’s the new thrill and its much more exciting.
I hope you’ve enjoyed reading this insight into my first vampie book. The second is a very different book with some new characters introduced. There’s a lot more danger and a lot more fun too. Give them a try, you’ll be surprised!
