Blurb:
Holly Spencer is a 22-year-old IT major who’s ready to graduate and find her place in the world. What she really wants is a good job and a condo with a view.
But when she’s rescued twice in one day by a mysterious man who claims to be a fae warrior, she’s plunged into a world she grew up believing existed only in fairy tales, and forced to run for her life from warring factions who all want her dead.
Shadow’s on a routine mission when he runs headlong into Holly--the soul mate he’d given up on ever finding. Even though she refuses to believe they’re meant for each other, he fights to protect her from the very thing that brought them together, even when it means making a dangerous deal with Fate to save her life.Holly struggles with being told who she’s supposed to love. Shouldn’t it be her choice?
But as little by little Shadow kindles her passions and wins her trust, Holly realizes that a life with Shadow may very well be just where she belongs.

EXCERPT
She still had to face the things that caused her fear, and as much as Shadow made her feel safe, she couldn’t quite let go of the responsibility of taking care of herself. She couldn’t in good conscience give him any hope when she had no idea what she faced in the next few days. That kind of trust required more than she was ready to give just yet. Still, resisting the temptation to give in to their attraction was becoming more and more difficult.“I know you’ll do everything you can to protect my life, and if I survive this mission, we can talk about my heart,” she said, resting her head on his chest.“You’ll survive,” he said. “I’ve already saved you twice. I’ll do it as many times as I need to.”“As I recall, the last time it was a team effort,” Holly teased. “If I hadn’t shifted form, you wouldn’t have been able to carry me away.”She heard his laugh rumble in his chest. “Very true. That just proves what a good team we are.” He pushed her back just a little to look her in the eyes, “And as I recall,” he said, a wicked grin spreading slowly across his lips, “the last time I saved you, you wore nothing but a smile. Is that going to be a habit?”“You wish. What does that have to do with anything anyway?”Still holding her close, he traced the line of her dress, down one shoulder, across the valley between her breasts, and back up again, making her shiver. “Nothing. I was just thinking how impressive it was.”

STORY EXCERPT
Margaret was dumbfounded. At first, it did not register that someone had grabbed her. She almost believed that she had lost her balance and was falling into the creek. However, the deafening pounding of the hooves, the unmerciful grip on her waist, and the heavy bucket pulling on her hand told her otherwise. Instinctively, she tried to turn her head to see her captor. However, her long, thick hair that served as her modesty protector also served an obstruction to her view. When she looked down at the bare, sinewy leg, in dark contrast to her own alabaster skin, she knew. She knew.
She started to panic. As if sensing that she was about to scream, her captor placed a large, calloused hand over her mouth. Though she was terrified beyond all reason, she marveled at this savage’s ability to hold her mid-air next to him with one hand and cover her mouth with the other. Margaret caught herself wondering how he was able to communicate with the horse.
Margaret’s mind was racing. She did not know what this savage wanted with her. However, she had heard all the horror stories while she was working in her grandfather’s store. She had heard stories of thievery, destruction, and slaughter. These possibilities did not worry her. She reasoned that if this savage wanted to slaughter her, he could have easily done so as she was getting the water from the creek. There was no one around to stop him. No, she told herself, the reason had to be something more sinister, something that was not discussed in the company of a lady. This realization prompted her to begin to struggle even harder to get away.
The bucket would be of no use to her, so she let it drop from her grasp. The newfound freedom in her arm was short-lived. Her captor deftly swung her face down across his lap. She became keenly aware of the small piece of cloth worn by her captor. As her waist moved up and down with the rhythmic gallop of the horse, she felt his strong hands holding her in place. Had she not feared the outcome of this ride, she would have been angry at the indignity of her predicament. However, as frightened as she was, she had decided that she would not go without a fight. That is something she had learned from her father. You must be willing to fight for what is important to you.
The thought of her father spurred her into a fervor. Her mind hurriedly turned to escape. How could she loose the iron-like grasp this savage had on her? She saw her opportunity in the shape of his muscular, brown calf. She noticed how starkly it compared to the white of the horse they were riding. His skin reminded her of the color of tanned leather. She knew that Indians were naturally dark skinned. However, she also knew that every inch of her captor’s skin had been exposed to the sun since the day he was born.
With her target in sight, she leaned toward his calf and bit it as hard as she could. She felt the muscles of the calf tense with the assault, and she heard a loud scream. The satisfaction she received from knowing she had inflicted pain prompted her to bite harder. The sound of the savage’s cries of agony were the fuel to the fire that Margaret needed to intensify her assault. She dug her teeth in deeper. She could taste blood, but she did not care. She was determined to make it out of this situation alive and with as much of her modesty in place as possible.
Images of her father kept running through her mind. She knew that if anything happened to her, her father would blame himself. She knew that she was the main reason he was still alive after her mother had died. He lived for her. An assault on her was an assault on her father, too. This thought provoked her even further. She could not stand the thought of anything hurting her beloved Dada. She could hear him encouraging her to survive, “Fight, Maggie me love! Give ’em hell!” She was determined to do just that. She was going to “give ’em hell,” or she was going to die trying. She was prepared to fight to the bitter end. However, what she was not prepared for was to have the savage unceremoniously shove her from her perch on his lap to the unforgiving ground below. Winded from the impact, Margaret was taken aback by the savage’s response to her attack. In fact, it took her a moment to realize that she was free. Every muscle in her body ached. Her head, which had taken quite a bit of the impact, throbbed. However, she was relieved to be free.
ADULT EXCERPT:
Margaret pressed her palms onto the table to gain leverage so that she could match his movement, moving her hips back and forth, arching her back, and matching his rhythm. This obviously pleased him as he began to move harder and faster. He started slamming into her with such vigor that the dishes started falling on the floor. This instilled into Margaret a reckless abandon. She began moving against him faster and faster, moaning with sheer pleasure. She had never felt such reckless abandon, and she felt the need to give him as much pleasure as he was giving her.Margaret’s legs were shaking out of control, and she found herself sWeb Links: Twitter https://twitter.com/ChandlerAdams22Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/chandler.adams.3701

Guest Blogger: Libby Bishop with CLAIMED BY THE BRUIN
Please welcome my guest blogger today, Libby Bishop and her newest release, Claimed by the Bruin.
B
Mara Kane is a twenty-six year old woman who happens to have bear blood. She can’t shift…yet. But that doesn’t stop Lee Underhill, an exiled bruin, from taking his revenge out on her. After all, it was her father who played the largest role in him being exiled from the Clan and Northeast pack. Lee’s demands are clear—if she isn’t married and mated to a bruin in her clan in three days, she has to marry the bastard’s son.
The hell with that.
Ramsey McGregor is the son of her Clan’s alpha, and one day he’ll take his father’s place. When he finds out what Lee is forcing on Mara, he, as well as her father and his, decide to do the only thing they can to keep her with them—marry her to him. No territorial council would ever dispute the union. But can he soothe Mara’s nerves enough to bring on a true mating? Or will the Clan have to fight Lee and his people to keep her with them?
EXCERPT:
Once the two men were out of the room and the door was closed, Angus stepped in front of her, clasping her upper arms gently in his large hands. She had to crane her neck to look up at him, as he was six-foot-seven and she was only five-foot-six. Short for a bear shifter, but her human blood didn’t allow for the usual tallness.
“Not marrying him could mean a war, but we do have options.”
“What would those be, Angus?” she inquired, trying to swallow her anger. He knew it wasn’t directed at him, so she wasn’t worried about the bite in her tone. “I’m a twenty-six-year-old woman—this loophole in the treaty should’ve been taken care of decades ago.”
Regret pinched around his eyes. “I know, and we are working on it—all territories, but it’s a slow process. The alpha women of the Pack Councils have been pushing its importance for years. We just haven’t gotten to it yet.”
Much of the old treaty, which included the wolf and cat shifters, had been changed and updated for the times. But these things took time, especially when the treaties involved six territories, each with their own Pack Council.
Though, cat shifters were in prides, wolves in packs, and bears in clans, Pack Council was just easier to use. The US government preferred it as well—simpler when dealing with the ruling parties.
“We could fight them, but that would endanger us from the Northwest clans. Or, and this is only if you agree, we marry you to one of our bruins. But, if for any reason you can’t go through with the mating, we’ll have to hold a territorial council meeting and try to force the change in law.”
But that could still lead to the war Lee Underhill knew they didn’t want. There was no choice here—it was marriage to someone she knew, or risk war, because she was not marrying Cole Underhill. Under anycircumstances.
She sighed, most of the anger leaving her on the exhale. Acceptance took its place. “Do I get to choose the bruin?”
Angus’s hands left her, and the kindness in his gaze told her the answer was no.
“It’s best that I choose. As the alpha of the clan, the Northwest Pack Council won’t argue with my choice, nor the choice of your father—my second-in-command and top enforcer.”
Her gaze flicked to her father, who gave a nod. His body language told her to listen to Angus.
“Who did you two choose for me to marry?”
“My son, your future alpha.”
That froze her in place. Ramsey McGregor was a good man, and a great bruin, but he was twenty years her senior and was known to not be interested in marrying. Not that she could blame him. Shifters lived a long time, around two hundred and fifty to three hundred years. He was only forty-six—young, but not unheard of to have a mate.
“But I’m… I’m not a full bear. I may never shift.” She hoped she would one day.
“True, but with what I smelled when you were looking at Cole, I would say it’s more than likely you will. Your bear is strong, Mara, and you are your father’s daughter.” He smiled briefly. “And you are fast becoming one of the top liaisons within the Northeast Pack.”
A liaison to the government, keeping them up to date on the changes in the pack as well as fielding the concerns the government had with the pack. She had a good relationship with the state government—Vermont accepted the shifters with more ease, since they’d been there before it was a state, and had helped form what it presently was. She was also on good terms with her Federal government contacts. She’d never thought that would be her place, but she found she liked navigating those waters.
“Have you talked to him about this?”
“Yes. He’s downstairs with Rayna.”
Angus’s wife, and one hell of a force in terms of being a bear. She’d seen the woman take down shifters twice her size in a matter of minutes.
Rayna had taught her how to stand her ground and fight when needed. She and the two men in the room with her.
“What does he say about this?”
Her father moved to stand beside Angus. “He’s not happy with the Underhills. He was around when we exiled Lee thirty years ago, and saw the upheaval that caused.”
She’d heard about it. Eleven bruins and three women chose to go with Lee, siding with him. They could have stayed, but the trust in them was in tatters and they felt it easier to start over.
She met her father’s blue gaze. “So, he’s okay with marrying me?”
He placed a hand on her cheek. “He feels it’s his place, as an alpha-to-be. But mostly because he agrees that it’s best you marry a bruin who has pull within the Council. A lesser bruin won’t survive a challenge from Lee or Emery, and no one will challenge the marriage of you and the son of an alpha.”
Made sense. She still didn’t like—still hated it—but the choices were limited. It was give Ramsey a chance or risk war. Not much of a choice, really. And she did trust him, wholly. That trust had been won when she was six years old and she’d first seen him shift—he was massive to her then, still was. She remembered fondly how he’d lowered his head to her and she nervously placed her palm against his soft-but-slightly-rough fur. That moment, between bruin and human, had shown her that she was protected by more than just her father in the big, wide world.
That she would always be protected by Ramsey—both the man and the bear.
Looking back to Angus, she asked, “It’s almost midnight now—when do we get married?”

A CONQUEST LIKE NO OTHER By: Emma Anderson
Hi All,
Today I am hosting Emma Anderson and her newest release: A CONQUEST LIKE NO OTHER
Blurb: When Nikki Greene is kidnapped by a crime boss, the last thing she expects is for an even more dangerous man to rescue her. She’s already survived one brutal attack by a man claiming to care for her. She’s not in the market for love, even though her tattooed hero awakens urges she never expected to feel again—and some she’s never felt before.
Viper, a renowned playboy, doesn’t want a mate. He likes the freedom of taking a different partner to bed each night. But the moment Nikki enters his life, his bachelorhood is doomed. Now he must work past Nikki’s trust issues to win a place in her life and bed. He’s determined to prove that her scars are only skin-deep and together they can have it all.
But trouble is coming for Nikki. A menacing presence lurks on the fringes of her world, waiting for the chance to prove to Nikki that revenge isn’t sweet, but it is deadly. Can Viper save her this time, or will he lose her for good?

ExcerptNikki slumped with her back against the closed front door. To say she was relieved to see Viper leave was an understatement. Again her hormones reacted to him. Why they had to come to life after three years, she had no idea. And even worse yet, for her best friend’s new brother-in-law. The situation had disaster written all over it. Even if her fear would allow her to make a move on the unsuspecting man, her conscience wouldn’t. As he had pointed out, they were now family. And she couldn’t risk Gabby’s happiness by throwing herself at Viper. It would lead to uncomfortable family gatherings.Pushing herself off the door, she attempted to eject her sexy rainbow-colored angel out of her mind as she went about getting herself ready for bed. By the time she was snuggled under the blankets, she was exhausted. Half an hour later, sleep still refused her. Her body needed something—something she knew B.O.B. could provide.Reaching across to her bedside table drawer, she pulled out her purple vibrator. This silicone cock had been the only form of male company her body had allowed over these last three years. And he never disappointed her, except when he ran out of batteries.Throwing the blankets back, she quickly removed her pajamas. The cool air hit her sensitive nipples, causing them to harden further. They were begging to be teased. Her hand molded around her tiny breast, roughly massaging it. The harsh manhandling had more juices leaking from her already flowing pussy. Her thumb and index finger found her pebbled nipple, pinching it hard.A groan escaped her as her hips lifted from the mattress, seeking out its partner. The hand that held B.O.B. travelled lower. B.O.B.’s head circled her hypersensitive clit. Electricity raced through her whole being, enticing her orgasm closer to the surface. As if on its own accord, B.O.B. found her entrance. Scooping up some of her escaped juices, it slowly entered her. Each thrust took her higher, but still it wasn’t enough to take her over the edge. Suddenly Viper’s image popped into her mind. No longer were her fingers pinching and pulling at her nipples. Instead, his mouth had engulfed her breasts, his teeth worrying her nipples and sending shock waves throughout her whole being. As for B.O.B., he had been replaced as well. Viper was carrying her body to the heavens, and she welcomed it. Her imagination took the fantasy further. Her legs widened, allowing room for Viper’s large body. The thrusts were coming harder and faster. Her orgasm quickly approached, catapulting her over the edge. Still Viper’s body continued to drive into her. Suddenly he pulled out and turned her. With her head on the mattress and her backside in the air, he slammed back into her. At this angle it was enough to encourage another orgasm to make itself known. It danced around the edges, avoiding her pleas for completion. More punishing thrusts were delivered from behind. Then it came, a command her body seemed to be waiting for.“Come for me, sweetheart.” Light burst behind her closed eyelids right before she screamed her completion. As she tumbled back to earth she felt tears falling from her eyes. Her head was turned to the side, allowing the sheet and mattress to absorb them. It was then that she realized how uncomfortable she was. True to her fantasy, her backside was in the air, while her head rested upon the bed. One arm held her balanced while the other one was under her body. Her hand was between her legs, holding B.O.B. in her pussy. As she went about cleaning B.O.B and remaking her bed she expected embarrassment to consume her. It never came. In its place was confusion. How could that fantasy have felt so real? In her mind, she felt his body against hers. Never before had any of her masturbating sessions felt like that. The man she was trying to view as family had somehow accomplished the impossible. In her mind, he had truly been with her in this bed. Yet the fear that usually accompanied the idea of being sexually involved with a male was absent. How was that possible? Why was he having such an effect on her? This man with his brightly painted skin and rusty red hair had her craving things she didn’t think were possible to ever want again—a sexual relationship. His messy locks with their just-out-of-bed look called to her fingers. They desperately wanted to delve into his thick mass of hair. His plump, kissable lips had her mouth watering and her chin itching. In her mind she could see the stubble rash that would appear after a kiss from her new fantasy go-to guy. How was she ever going to look at that man again without blushing? She was glad that she didn’t have to see him every day. Otherwise she suspected her rampant hormones would have her doing something impetuous. With her hormones in overdrive she knew it wouldn’t be long before she threw herself at this man who was only being friendly with her because of Gabby’s relationship with Devil. She needed to minimize her exposure to Viper. It was the only way she wouldn’t embarrass Gabby and herself.
