I'm loving these series that are back-to-back and this is the latest in this series. I absolutely adored Banks and Candy Ray. I thought what happened to her was the saddest thing ever and it really hit home. It broke my heart and when Banks found out he was such an Alpha male. I love that about LLV's characters. They're alpha but not chauvinistic. I definitely recommend this to everyone!! You get to see all the side characters of the other books and the lead up to Darby's book.

I am so digging this series and can't wait for the next one. I loved Ford and Ashe together. I loved their shenanigans when they were kids, along with the prologue. I love the fact that LLV gives us a look into the future. I usually read books that have prologues because I WANT to know what happens. This is another five-star book in the new Swat 2.0 series.

I loved Desi and Callum together. I'm loving both series done simultaneously side-by-side and getting to see the extended families.  It's explaining a lot and expanding upon the universe isn't hurting from where I'm sitting. I'd give both series so far 5 stars and I've likened them to Boomtown when it came out. Awesome books and storyline.

Hosted By: I'm really enjoying the Swat 2.0 series so far and can't wait for the third. This one was about Avery and Derek, who we met in the first book. Avery's story is really hard to read and I have a feeling they're all gonna follow a theme. Avery's bullied and bullying is something that is close to my heart, so much so, that I fell in love with Derek for the way he started to treat Avery. Yeah, it didn't start out so great but it ended up being spectacular. The thing for me was that the "bad guy" didn't start with intentions to harm anyone and bullying is like that, but I feel this is why we need to have real conversations with our children instead of just checking in occasionally. Overall, I feel this series is right up their with Boomtown, The Dixie Wardens and Code 11-KPD Swat which were my favorite series.

This was an absolutely amazing book!! It was not what I thought it would be...like at all! I loved the people, the writing was fantastic and most of all it was real. I love a book that is based on reality.  This hit all the points for me. Drama, intrigue, cattiness, and realism. It was an awesome ride.

I loved Dax and Rowen in this book and it also made me love LLV's books again. For quite awhile they've been all the same, then I get to this one and I loved their story. It was great catching up with all the SWAT guys. This had the old timers handing over the reigns to the new generation and I loved reading this and the novella before that was a setup to this book. Rowen was a sweetheart and what she went through with having her hair fall out by someone poisoning her shampoo broke my heart. The way that Dax cared for rowen was beautiful to me. I would definitely recommend this new series.if they all continue to be different.
